Fun fact: When they got Paul McCartney to be himself along with his wife Linda in Lisa the Vegetarian (Sadly in 1998 3 years after this episode aired Linda died from breast cancer), Paul and Linda McCartney were only willing to lend their voices for The Simpsons under the condition that Lisa would be a vegetarian for the rest of the series as Paul and Linda were vegetarians themselves.
I read in an interview with Mr. Groening that one of his favorite accomplishments was that he reunited three of the four on his show, even if they weren't on at the same time. I can understand his satisfaction.
I remember being blown away when I saw Flanders's Beatles memorabilia collection! Mainly because I never thought that Ned would ever be a Beatles fan. Before that I assumed he was a Pat Boone fan.
@@eleanorhogan8643 Nah, I always pictured he'd be into overly sentimental folk and/or country. Basically whatever the music equivalent of those awful cottage paintings by Thomas Kinkade is. But I think that's the joke, you wouldn't think somebody like Ned would be into the Beatles, considering the cult that has built around them and how much of their music is inspired by drugs.
That Lisa in the sky with diamonds bit is the most accurate representation of real British accents that there was and ever will be in the Simpsons lmao
@Flame the Narwhal Yesterday is just about a man who is the only person on Earth to remember The Beatles after a power cut/blackout all over the world. Maybe it would have been better with The Beatles but remember. Only two are still alive today. I like Yesterday. 💛
@@17moonbeams It’s a good movie, but they messed up when they said that it was like about the Beatles, we were excited but it was disappointed bc we were expecting more things about the Beatles :( But if we forget that has something with the Beatles, yeah, that would make it a really good movie

These are the names of their manager and their producer. Other names that appear but you can't see that well: Hey Jude (the song of the same name) Eleanor Rigby/Father McKenzie (Eleanor Rigby) Lady Madonna (the song of the same name) Mother Mary (Let It Be) Mother Superior (Happiness Is A Warm Gun) Also in the glass: a yellow submarine and a green apple To the left side, you will see the Sgt Peppers logo along with 4 animals.
