Such an amazing band, the best ever, I like to listen to stuff like this because I'm scared of getting sick of the studio albums

What strikes me about the Live At The BBC 1&2, Please Please Me and With The Beatles is the pure joy and energy coming from the records. Something that I think is missing from modern artists recordings sadly. Maybe this is to do with over production, rather than just talented musicians getting in there and playing. Something The Beatles show on these 4 albums that they could certainly do. All the best mate. Thanks for the videos.

I was originally only going to get the studio albums, but i got sucked into buying the whole collection. My only regret is not getting the storage boxes, I wasn't bothered about the gifts, and I decided to get my albums from Tesco, I'm a little surprised that Tesco have stuck with the collection, there must be a few other idiots like me buying them. Hi Stripey, great video again mate. Shame you haven't had the replacement to HDN yet but hopefully ur wiife will stomp down on them. I still have my 94 CD release stored away somewhere. Those Live at the BBC vinyl release what came out a few years ago are going for £53 for vol 1 and £44 for vol 2 on Amazon, so to get them at a great price is brill.

Great Album mate. One of my favs, of this series. I luv all the cover versions they do, on it. Funny that 3 of your favs, on this album, are my 3 favs of the album also. We have similar taste, in music. A Shot of Rhythm and Blues, is my fav, i know it, from the Johnny Kidd & the Pirates cover, great version, fantastic, early British rock & roll band. I prefer the B&W cover to the original sepia cover,i have been playing my original C.D copy of the album, will have to put Disc 2 on, and that this is a triple album, instead of a double, means the S.Q is a lot better, as the tracks are spread out, onto 3 albums, instead of 2. You are still 4 issues behind, the shops, and other subscribers though mate. Good news, that you are finally catching up now. I will be up to the Blue 67-70, when i go shopping Friday, which will be an upgrade, for me, as i have an original German import copy, i picked up in the early 80s. Lucky you, finishing early for the holiday season. No such luck for me mate. I work for myself, i work 365 days a yr, every yr, xmas/new yr, Easter, Bank Holidays too. Enjoy the break! Bad news again, it seems, with the AHDN, saga, according to the Steve Hoffmann Beatles forum, people are still being sent out, the faulty chord copy, instead of the corrected chord copy, it looks, as though, they have'nt, re-cut this, despite, their admin, messaging me, to say, this was being re-cut, and copies, being sent out, to customers, in due course. My copy, should be due, either by the end of this wk, when i get my copy of 67-70, or depending, on the xmas post, after xmas. Will let you know, what they send me, but, i'm not holding my breath, that it's the corrected chord version, i don't really need/want, another faulty copy, will have to bring them down to my local charity shop. I don't think, any subscribers, have received the USB power bank yet, they seemed, to have overlooked it, and the notepad, has'nt been sent out yet, due to their suppliers, not having any in stock But who really needs, a notepad with The Beatles on the cover??
