I love this!!! A vivid memory I have as a little girl was sitting in the back of the car on a road trip singing along to the radio. But I never sang along to the melody, I always tried to figure out the other vocal parts. One day my parents turned around, looked at me, then back at each other and said “is she singing the harmony???!?”. I must have been 6 or 7. Not much has changed, I still rarely sing the melody! You’re breakdowns are FAB!

This is a great idea! If your relatives, friends and bandmates can't be bothered to learn the vocal harmony parts, then Galeazzo will play the part of John, Paul and George for you to sing with! If you're not inspired to learn vocal harmony by this great resource, I don't know what will.

I started by the same way. I hear The Beatles on tape (cassettes) with a very poor sounds because of the wear of the tape, the cheap cassette player. But, that makes my ears even more sensitive and I started to discover, learn and sing every vocal track. That was unforgetable times to me, when I get close and close to the original sound and "polish to the extreme" every detail of John´s voice wich was my choosed beatle to reproduce on stage. No youtube, no "only vocals" available on the early 90s, just my ears, my mind and The Beatles. I really appreciate your work, because it's what I've done since I was a teenager, a 12-year-old boy. That really trained my ears, today I listen to a band and my mind automatically decodes, separates the tracks one by one and I listen clearly to what each musician is doing.

Here's my #1 Beatles fantasy: Hal Leonard Corp. should release a 2nd Edition of "The Complete Beatles Scores" and hire you and Ryohei to correct the MANY mistakes in the current edition. They already have the layout for every part of every song, so the "busy work" has been done - the lyrics, the layout, the staves for each instrument - it just needs golden eared perfectionists like yourselves to clean it up. All you two would have to do is use the videos you've already done to find and fix the errors in the current edition. Hopefully they'd pay each of you a fortune and when it came out the book would be a treasure that every Beatles fan would rush to buy. My sense is that of the entire current 1st edition, at least 75% is correct so if they hired you full time you could probably make it perfect in a year or less.

Me and a friend in Ukraine we are writing a book containing all the correct vocal scores. We finished the "Please Please me" album and went into the singles now. It will take one year or two.

I loved your previous breakdown format so much, but this is a really fun idea - especially as you've covered a lot of the best vocal harmony breakdowns already. You should sell track packs or something - I love recording covers but Paul's parts are just too high for me, so it'd be great to get a pack of vocal/backing tracks so that I could select which parts I want to do myself and which to leave to a more skilled vocalist such as yourself. Great work as always!

Hi there ¡ hola que tal y Saludos!! What a story about placing the stereo speakers on the floor and lying down in between them..... and I thought i was the only crazy one to do that!!!! I felt i was sitting with the music recording Engineer and came up with the ideas on how the mix was going to be done... With my guitar in hand i would learn all the first 4 albums of " The Rolling Stones " Of course it was because of John Lennon and HIS Very Famous Jet Glo Black Rickenbacker at first sight ...."Im going to be a Guitar player.... Some many years later im still playing but have added playing Bass as well just love my Epiphone Violin Bass with Roto Wound Strings and V pick....what a great sound Grazi and Chao

This is awesome, because I'm always trying to sing the background but sometimes its so hard to get the vocalization just right. Thank you SO MUCH! And yes to THIS BOY!! Great great harmonies, one of my favorites along with I FEEL FINE. Btw, I too always used to put my head on the floor between two large speakers. It makes such a difference to hear all the nuances.

An idea - you could have two videos for each song - one like this, and the other with the "missing Beatles" panned hard left and the others panned hard right. This would make it easier to review the part to make sure you've remembered it correctly.

Another great tutorial! However, there’s one thing no one else on RU-vid seems to address is singing while playing bass at the same time. I’m a bass player in a Beatles cover band. I sing really well and play bass really well but as most people know, Paul McCartney has some really melodic and complicated bass lines and it’s really difficult to coordinate your brain to sing and play bass at the same time when tackling 90% of all the songs by The Beatles. Do you think you could do a video on how sing Paul’s parts and play bass at the same time? It seems like no one anywhere has any tips on the best way to approach this. Thanks in advance! 😁😁😁

Yes he does; of the last three falsettos Paul sings the first two and John the last (and longer) one but it would be too tricky for the most manage and understand so this is more simple and does not change the harmony.

Have you maybe thought about setting up a Patreon account so you can get continuous support? I've made the realization people prefer to give smaller amounts over time instead of big amounts at once.
