i’m gonna keep watching your reactions you’re so cool and obviously a music lover. i think this song is considered one of their finest and a true Lennon-McCartney collaboration. the part you mentioned liking, one of the reasons i love these guys is that they were so generous, they always had interesting things going on in their songs over and above what was already excellent. they gave lots of gifts.

Hey gang, so RU-vid blocked my "Day Tripper" reaction I released today, that thang was getting too popular too fast, so I don't know if it'll be a 3-5 day block or a forever block, but it's up on my Patreon, and this video just got unblocked so I see it as a trade that screws me a little bit lol.

This song and Day Tripper are another example of Double A Side single releases by the boys. In a time of single releases by bands most were considered A and B sides. The A being the radio/hit song and the B side being considered filler/toss-off songs. The did Beatles put out a whole lot of Double A side singles. Paperback Writer/Rain is another classic.

Love this video!! It is so fun to watch them goofing off and not even trying to pretend they're actually playing and singing. There are a few of these gems from '65 and '66 that I think the record co. wanted them to do. They didn't seem enthused at all. In 'Day Tripper' John lip synchs the wrong words, etc...

the song's tempo speed up and then slows down. There are not many songs/artists that can do that. and make it all fluid and sound good,

John and Paul were music composition geniuses. When I was working on my organ cover of this song, I've noticed how the song was composed how it was still able to flow well and sound good in the end.

This is my least favorite Beatles song. After this, John and Paul stopped trying to force the songwriting duo aspect of the Beatles and went off in their own directions. Thank God. You can tell from the video that John thinks the song is stupid.
