It won't be the same because it's done. Its sad but thats the way of the world. Be excited about the next new incredible thing that, will happen. If you want to listen to this style theres enough good stuff out there from this era to last a life time. Thats the problem. Everything gets rinsed and a new thing has to be created. I wish the current stuff wasn't so terrible, and I wish rappers still had to have a serious level of skill to make it to the top. Fingers crossed
Cold Winter Night, cool November night..walking around, blazing an L..hanging with the fellas, calling up a shorty for later on in the night..corner store bodega sandwiches and a cold one...It’s a mood for sure...East Coast..NYC, Newark, NJ...classic
This album was one of the last few to close the Boom Bap era. It included all the elements from battle lyrics to crates sampling. Shots out to Juju and Psycho. A talented duo of a Dominican and Colombian.
This was a great Era of hip-hop.. The content, delivery and beat complimented each other like a finger and a diamond ring. I am glad to have witnessed it👊
When I was a kid and 1st heard this I wasn't feeling it, but loved Off the Books....later down the road I started to appreciate this track. Forever Beatnuts
I got to tell you this is one of my favorite beats from life, the 90’s was an era where poetically speaking was the thing just about everything you heard you would put your self in the scene cause that was your life style. Bring back NY City hip hop back please someone !!!!!
This song brings back memories from back in middle school with the homies getting drunk and tagging shit up doing dumb shit just living life being a kid. I miss those days
"Yeh, you know comin', raw groves with the funky drums drumming, and when my song goes off, you'll still be humming, nodding your head or singing my chorus " The whole stone crazy album was brilliant

Back in the day when there was a real thing called “mixtapes”. You walk into your local mom/pops record store and there would be a section dedicated strictly for mixtapes. The Premo, DJ Green Lantern, P.f Cuttin, Tony Touch, Doo Wop, etc mixtapes. You would cop them joints and play the hell out of them until the paint wore off. You would go to school everyday and talk with the crew “Yo you hear that new Beatnuts joint on that new Green Lantern #22?” Then you would proceed to share mixtapes with the crew. Man I miss the hell out of those days.
