Linger in the sweet moments and memories...some bring a smile to my lips while others bring comfort or even longing for another moment. While we are living this life...stop and linger in His sweet presence, listening for His voice to lead. Have a blessed weekend

I live with my dad, who is 87 years old and two precious kitty cats, one who is 16 years old and the other is 7 years old. I know in the back of my mind that some day they will no longer be with me. I cherish those close moments with each of them daily ☺️💖

Tears from deep within my soul. I remember vividly the hug my father gave me the day before he passed. He stood when standing was painful. I told him no, as I leaned down, but he rose and hugged and gave me that gift of his love to carry me through. Eighteen years ago this October and that hug still fills my soul and sustains my grateful heart 🤍🕊️. Love you, daddy and thank you for not listening to my no. Thank you Lea. Bless your whole family on the little mountain of shalom 🕊️🪽🤍

It's so important to appreciate the ordinary. When I married my husband with a brain tumor we were going to have 2 sets of dishes. The special occasion and the every day. What I felt strongly was especially in my circumstances every day was a special occasion and gave away my everyday dishes and used the special occasion ones every day. I was blessed with 12 years with the love of my life and then he went to Jesus. My everyday was hard but special because he was in it. I lost 2 friends this year and have been reminded to celebrate the regular fellowships because with each passing year there's less to fellowship with. This world is not our home, we're just a passin' through, my treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue...thank you beloved brother and sister! Love you!

This really hit home for me. I am only a teenager and growing up I will admit is hard , I see so much change. It makes me miss when I was younger, but I see now that the LORD is blessing me every time I wake and everytime I get to see me family. Even if I have a bad day, I still always am grateful to have woken and to spend time with my family .And I find myself very often now on the verge of tears of joy , because I am just so grateful to the LORD for my family and all the little moments and memories we share.❤ Thank you for making this video.

You are so blessed to have learned this message so early in life. I didn't find it until I retired and even then it was so uncomfortable to just be still. But during that time I had 8 weeks with my mom before she passed. Now I walk with my dog each day and marvel at the wonders God has created for us to enjoy. I now count myself blessed with the gift of quiet, slow days. Thank you so much for sharing ❤

Glad I was allowed to be here for them🙏🏻❤️

Why did this video bring tears to my eyes? When you said one day James and those sweet dogs will not be in that room and my sweet Boston Terrier, Daisy “Mum” passed the end of May and she was truly my best friend…. It’s been so hard to not have her anymore. And yes life goes by so quick and my memories of my three now adult kids as babies is a complete blur….. I kick myself for not remembering more

This video is so in line with how my life has changed the past few years, and how I've learned to slow down. Five years ago on Labor Day, my only brother Nathan, passed away after a terrible accident. We were devastated to say the least. But 2 or 3 weeks before the accident there was such a drawing power, and my heart was so turned towards him and I was just compelled to dote on him, making him cookies for no reason and lots of hugs and in depth conversations about our childhood and the happy times. I thank God for giving me those few weeks. We take so much for granted. Slow down and enjoy the beauty and treasure of the ordinary life. This experience with my brother has changed my life. God bless!❤

Thank you for these beautiful words. Yes, 2 years ago I was saying goodbye to my father , 82, and I just knew that would be the last time I saw him on earth, I held on to him, weeping, and he held me tight. I was right. He went home to the Lord, shortly after. I believe, as you experienced with your brother, it was a gift, for I cherish that visit and hug with my dad. Thank You sweet Jesus. ✝️❤️🌍

Your words, describing the beauty of slowing down and being in the moment, are delightfully poetic, but most important, .speak an absolute truth. We cn all race through life, at a pace where eveything is blurred, and we think more is more, when its quite the opposite. Have just come across your channel; the peace and serenity of it all, along with your partner and those lovely fur babies, makes for great viewing. Keep going!

Thank you. Is it a woman thing? Luke 2 v 19" But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart." The "moments" are so important, and if you cannot completely recall the time, the place, the circumstances.....you can surely recall the feelings. Positive or negative the feelings, perhaps even, now I stop to consider, the smells or sounds too, are there waiting to re-surface. Thank you for your thoughts and for the "moments of tranquillity" you bring. x💖

Why Our Father created us? Why did He create at all? Being eternally, unchangingly perfect, it could not have been out of any kind of need, so it must have been out of desire. But, desire for what? I ask people often, "Why were we created?" People say things like, "To glorify God," but how can that be? Such a desire reveals weakness, and he who was from the beginning has no weakness. Glorifying Papa is a means to some other end. It is wonderful to glorify Him, but we are the recipients of the benefits that glorifying Him brings. Sometimes they say, "To serve God," but he who spoke the world into existence out of nothing certainly gains no benefit from being served by that which He created. Again, serving Him is wonderful, but we are the beneficiaries. I know that the answer is wrapped up in Revelation 4:11 (the true four one one about the purpose of creation!). We are, and were created, for His good pleasure. But what pleasure do we provide Him with that He does not have within the Godhead? God is love, and the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all love one another. But we afford Him with a different flavor of love. The love of the Father for the Son (for example) is perfect. Always has been; always will be. Which means that the Father can never love the Son more. And that is what we provide. We can grow in our knowledge of The Father, and so increase in our love for Him. (The more you know a perfect object of love, the more you will love that object.) And we can never know Our Father exhaustively the way The Father and The Son know each other exhaustively (both of them being God). This means that He can enjoy the pleasure of ever increasing love throughout eternity as we get to know Him more and more forever. What a thing... Jesus told us that we call Him Lord and Master, and we do so rightly, but he said, "I have called you friends." Think about that. Think about just sitting in the same room with a friend. You don't have to say or do anything. Just being with them is better than being alone. Think about how much we desire to truly be known by another person. Why do we desire that? I think it is how Our Father reveals to us something about Himself. He wants to be known, too. He wants to interact with us. He wants to enjoy the pleasures of friendship with someone who is not...Himself. So God created not-God. Someone capable of interacting freely with Him, but different from Himself. When I see a bird, or a particularly beautiful cloud formation, I excitedly ask Him, "Do you see that?" Yes, I know it sounds ridiculous, but He has shown me that He loves it when I speak to Him like that. I used to follow such things with, "Of course you do. You're God. You see everything," but He gently rebuked me. He really wants to be loved, and interacted with, as a friend. I can no longer, "obey," Him. I simply want to enjoy friendship with Him, and righteous things are the kind of things Jesus wants to do when it is time for us to, "go out and play," together. He has stopped, "commanding," me, too. He lets me know what I should do, and I do it, because that is how friends are. I spent 31 years desperately trying to serve Him faithfully, only to trip and fall at almost every step of the way. But only almost every step. He graciously allowed me a few experiences of success, so I could taste and see that He is good. When I do things against His expressed desire, it is not a sin, properly speaking, because sin is transgression of the law, and He does not give me commands. The law is not for a righteous man (male or female). But, when I do contrary to what would naturally be thought of as a law, and would be considered a sin, I don't feel like a failure who has not lived up to a standard of righteousness. I feel terrible at the knowledge that I have hurt my best Friend's feelings. It truly rips my soul in pieces like nothing I've ever experienced before. I finally understand what John meant when he said we cannot sin. Of course I can go through the motions of what is commonly called sin. It still happens, but not all the time. And it happens progressively less and less because it just hurts so bad when I do. When I ask Him to forgive me, I always follow it up with a thank you, because I know He did, and it would be rude not to say thank you. When I started doing that, I was acting in faith on the knowledge that He did, in fact, forgive me at that very moment. This is what He means when He defines eternal life as, "Knowing Him, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent." Eternal life is not living eternally. Eternal life is, "knowing Him," like Adam knew His wife, and caused her to conceive. Eternal life is a quality of experience; not a duration. We were created to give Our Father pleasure. Ever increasing pleasure, forever. And it is His pleasure for us to drink of the river of His pleasures forever. He is such a good Father. He enjoys watching us open our gifts more than He enjoys opening His. He created us to enjoy blessing us forever! We get to eternally enjoy eternal life. I love that! And you display that in your videos. Thank you. Bill

Why did you stop wearing a headcovering or was it just a scarf to help keep your hair clean?
