Lovely job. You make it look so easy. I have treated myself to a box of 'water base oils'. I'm new to oil painting & have started this with , White acrylic flower pattern on a black acrylic background. What can I put on the white Gary to make it slippy..can I still use the same routine throughout as if they were traditional oils. Thankyou.
Love painting flowers too, just trying oil paints and would like to know what medium it is that you use? The white base was it tit. White or Flake White?

What medium do you use? Is the transparent medium on the canvas the same as the one you're using on your pallet? Are your brushes sable or similar? squirrel?

I have 4 16×20 black canvasses. I like the way you paint your beautiful flowers. I think I am going to use those canvasses to make a set of 4 flowers. I will show you later and maybe you will tell me how I am doing.
Hi Gary, love to watch you paint. I was wondering -- how do you clean those blender brushes? I find it hard to clean them. I soak them in baby oil or mineral oil, but find them hard to clean b/c they are so delicate. I also use walnut oil as a medium. Love that. No fumes. Thanks so much for these videos. I learn more than I did taking college classes.
