There was also an underrated moment that happened about a year ago. In the mania community, a new player was streaming on YT and a bunch of top players joined the stream to hang out with him, the streamer then started a multi and let us all in a vc with him. Now he is a 4 digit and still going, some of us still talk with him! He might even read this comment because he associates with the standard community too lol.

I fucking love this video the cool side of the community I feel are overwhelmed from the bad shit happening but still the chill side are so good to watch, be apart of and witness and it always makes me smile. Nothing beats watching someone's reaction to hitting their goal or reaching a milestone. Nothing beats watching top players with great sportsmanship ESPECIALLY at roundtable but not only at it. I love this side community and I don't think id ever want it to change

Thanks to the community, I never thought that a song would be the representation of my channel.

I can guarantee you, osu is the least toxic game i have ever played and its not even a question. I came from games like valorant, minecraft, and other fps games (also play r6 etc). I switched to this game pretty much permanently becuz of how much the game is based on self improvement, and if you make a mistake, theres no one to blame except you whereas in games like val, you tend to get toxic to your teammates easily (cant lie i was toxic too) This community is definitely on the less toxic side. I havent gotten any toxicity (im a 7 digit currently tryna get to 6 ;-;) and although i bet theres people that accuse good players for cheating(like how they did with vaxei and others) but thats literally in every other game. Game itself is fun asf, wouldnt recommend any other game to my friends other than this.

I wish I could have lived these moments. Thank you zylice for reminding me what osu is.

i love the moment when the first time i joined tournament scene in osumania 4 digit world cup i thought i will never be able to become the part of mania world cup team, i seriously never expecting from just random kid playing rhythm game for fun to become 3rd place MWC champion (3rd sound not big but for us indonesia team this is the biggest indonesia team achievement in osu!mania after losing on ro16 curse) osu is not waste of time, osu is a place we can play together with cool people from far away or close

It's genuinely beautiful to see that no matter what size you are, what rank, whether you're a mapper, player or developer, everyone's treated equally and everyone loves each other in the community. All the love to everyone, you guys rock! Here's to more memories and what the future may bring!!!

The osu! community is the best I've had the pleasure of being a part of. In the end, it's a game driven by the passion of thousands of volunteers, almost everything that happens here is something we do because we love it. The players. The mappers. The skinners. The hitsounders. The moderators. The event organizers. The content creators. And all the others, I couldn't possibly name all of them. They're all doing this because they love the game and the community that surrounds it. And so do I.

Thank you for highliting the positives of the osu community instead of just showing one small bad part of the community. The amount of memory's, songs and friends I have gained from this game is crazy. Keep doing what you are doing man! The Osu Community appreciates it!

As somebody who has joined this community back in 2018 and hasn't left since I honestly have to say I love the community a lot. I barely interact with twitter or any of the drama that osu is involved with, but I almost always interact with the wholesome parts and the hype things that happen around here. This video feels like a trip down memory lane for me, and it most likely feels that way for a lot of other people as well. I never perceive the community as a bad thing because so many things are great about it, I won't just ruin that entire vibe because a few people are doing some whack ass shit, hold that to them, not to everyone else. Oh, and thanks for giving us the osu! rewind (totally real) edition

i love you guys. i love playing this game and challenging myself to get better, my goal in osu! is to have fun and notice my skill improving over time, seeing local scores improve accuracy and miss count after revisiting maps. it sucks that there are some stinky dinkies in the community but again that is every sizeable community. there are a lot of awesome, supporting, and kind people in this community and i really appreciate you guys for that

Even if it's not among top players, casual friend groups and tournament organizers and mappers all have formed very fond memories. I would highly recommend checking out the end of kensox's 2021 rewind with the compilation of all the meetups to see what I'm talking about.

I'm apart of the mania community but the community in mania and the community in standard are more like 2 entirely different communities playing 2 entirely different games just on the same client. Being a mania player the only time I ever saw standard was when drama or controversy was brought up so It turned me off from wanting to be in the community or even play the game. I never found standard fun and I always enjoyed playing mania but just watching this makes me want to embrace a whole new community and get into it. It also makes me wonder, if I saw the osu! community on the standard side as a trashy toxic community while being in a more niche part of it in the mania part, what would someone that has never ever seen osu before think about it. Thank you for making this video it defo brings inspiration to osu! players but it also shows a more positive light to players that have never seen osu or have doubts about the community.

Hey man, I never leave messages or thoughts like these anywhere but I'm honestly just so happy someone put together this vid, it just really hit me. Although I'm kinda drifting away from the game itself, it really warms my heart thinking about every single thing it brought to my life today, whether it's passions or friends, and I'm fucking glad of every single fucking crumb of effort I put into this fucking game. Whether it's italian, twitter or tournament community I could always find my little place and people I could feel comfortable with; big shout out to all the people I ever played with and/or against in tournaments, whether it's wins or losses, I'm sure I'll always remember every single one of them for the rest of my life. This game may have Debbie downers (people like that are everywhere). Doesn't mean we need to discourage the people that do that to us or get demotivated by it. At the end of the day it's a game that you love playing. Learning speeds don't matter so people improve faster doesn't mean you can't improve you improve everyday you do something consistently (even on off days). Having a negative outlook on skill and people will just reinforce the idea. Rather it's better too just think positive (better for mentality and others). (About to Yap lol) Me myself I improve at a slower rate at things than most people in almost all avenues, but I like to be highly competitive. Just because it takes longer doesn't mean I'm bad or worse than people it just means I need a stronger will to get to where I want to be. If you just look at the people that are improving faster than you or doing things you can't yet do instead of saying it's impossible use it as motivation (that's what I do), and if you progress slowly and have to work harder than do that too. For me ik I learn slow so what takes a normal person 1 hour to do could take me 3 so I'm going to put in 6 to be better. That's just how my competitive brain thinks. All and all its just a game so if your not having fun then you are forgetting the main purpose. I won't say my rank cause that doesn't matter but if you ever think you suck you don't doesn't matter what rank you are you are better than so many other people and you can do things that most people can't don't ever compare yourself to others just strive to do better. I've been playing this game for 5 years. in a couple of months, I'll be my friend's Best Man at his wedding. We met on a random multi lobby. Never let anyone tell you that your hobbies and passions are a waste of time.

the community itself is great but from my own experience the staff team is quite stinky and hard to work with, i got my account deactivated (not banned) due to alt account suspicious although i've already explained several times that me and my brothers just shared the same pc. Matter of fact, we've been doing this together since 2016 and we didn't have any trouble with it until one day my brother got restricted because he told his friend to log into his account and submit his map. But that doesn't stop him from logging in, until one day he sent an appeal and i logged in at the same day and boom my account is locked just like that, it's been a year and half now since last time i sent appeals and they gave up on responding to me. I just wanna play with people man, i always had fun playing in multiplayer lobbies and this is how the staff treated me, shame.

I started OSU in 2018 thanks to my bro though I didn't have the means to play the game consistently due to not being able to buy "proper equipment"😂 This video made me realize how precious the time I spent following the community and enjoying the game is. It's very nostalgic and heartwarming for me. Many bad news happened in OSU recently, but these should not prevent us from enjoying the game and have fun.

osu was never a waste of time, if anything, it made everyone who they are today, of course some people might not reach their goals, but the time they spent are precious, everyone who made friends, meet irl, play together, grinding and reaching goals, made fun events and ect, these are memories i and alot of others will never forget.
