I met a chap a few years back, who saw the big cat walk through his back garden in Studham at 10.30am. He told me he called Whipsnade Zoo who denied they had lost an animal. I also met another fellow who saw one at the edge of Breachwood Green along with other members of the household. Apparently it showed disinterest in bigger deer, but stayed close to smaller types.
That's very interesting to hear, I also know someone who saw one in his back garden in Studham! Are you referring to Longyards on Dunstable Road? Just next to Holywell?
Interesting video again Jim. Cheers for taking the time to do these. With the Zoo being so close I bet they have had a few escapes they have kept quiet over the years.
Yes tons over the years tactical, I saw my first feral wallaby a couple of weeks ago bouncing across the lane about a mile from the zoo! It's the only one I've ever spotted but apparently there is a breeding population from all the escapes
Great video as always Jim. I used to love going down the river as a kid catching bullhead with our hands, loved all that, and down the rye catching cray fish with a net. The big cat sighting are always interesting too. I'll have a video that i think you'll like coming up soon, me and metallic went to the Rollright stones and few other places near there, you ever been there?, its not that far from us really, should be part 5 or 6 of my road trip series.
Cheers Mike ill watch that this evening, I've been too busy to watching anything lately! I've never seen Rollright stones, I wish I had some megaliths around here but there's none weirdly
I use to go out with someone who lived in park avenue around 1994-1995 and his house looked over the back field where there is a spinney. He said they'd always find deer bones in there and back then they'd told stories of a big black cat sightings
That was all very interesting. Pity you didn't get to see a big cat. But I suppose nobody gets to see them when they want to. Just when they don't want to lol. Good idea about hangings in supermarket car parks. Seeing someone dangling with a sign saying " Hung for a multi-pack of KitKats and a bag of peas " would deter most shoplifters I suspect ! 🤣
i will be frank with you im admin on the top rated hunting groups in england i or any of the thousands of hunters on there have never come across a big cat and we hunt day and night with recordable nv / day vision gear
Entertaining, but 'Jim' how long have you been chasing shadows, how many encounters, how many photos? You in fact have no evidence whatsoever, 'Jim', why is that?...
