Crazy how the two people we children saw as the villains: Him and Ken, as we grew older realize they're actually the only reasonable and sane people in this movie.
Not just humanity considering what happened, if the only change that would happen is humans not being able to eat honey then not much would have changed
Are we sure it was the whole world affect, or just that state or country? Also, let's not forget that the movie is a bit unrealistic. Not all plants rely on bees for pollination - let alone heavily or obligatorily, and they don't die from lack of pollination.
@@Gelatinocyte2 i think the movie's logic has more power than scientific accuracy here. what matters it that barry's actions in the movie indirectly made 'all' the plants die. so, in a way, the lawyer is still kind of correct.
@@Gelatinocyte2 After he lost his case, the lawyer warned Barry that his ideals would violate nature and that he would regret them. Since Barry's changes almost destroyed the planet's ecosystem and they had to turn everything back to normal, I'd say the lawyer was right
y’all should’ve fucking listened to me. i ended up spending three weeks in hospital due to my allergies to losing. i hope you’re all happy with yourselves.
His biggest mistake was not getting Ken as a witness or to testify. If Ken told the jury what barry did to him and his relationship, the case would instantly be over
Its crazy to think that Montgomery was in the right and Barry was in the wrong. Montgomery was fighting for humanity and the well being of nature itself. He was right when he told Barry that the consequences would be severe and Barry should have listened.
He technically wasn’t right. The reason everything destabilized was because of the massive backlog of honey humans had in reserve that they then gave back. Meaning bees no longer had to work at all not even for themselves.
@@TheLovelyLadybug I mean, you can. But remember, there are consequences to your actions. And I am not your "babes", lass (and I, as a single (one) person, am definitely not plural).
If we were to live in the Topsy Trinity world Mr. Benson imagine, just just think about it I would have to negotiate the silkworm for the elastic in MAH Britches 🤝💀🔥
@@shinkenger2011 well, if anything I do find it funny and got a good chuckle out of it. Would also be funny if he was actually covering up a burp, though.
For the smoker scene, the smoke doesn't harm the bees (as long as it isn't insanely hot, that is), it interferes with their sense of smell so that they don't react to alarm pheromones. So they believe that their hive is on fire so they prepare to eat a lot of honey, for energy, to go look for a new home.
Montgomerys on a whole other level. Disney villains have nothing on this guy. the guys Deep South trappin on a farm making stacks selling honey by the oz.
WAIT WAIT 😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀 I didn’t realize how funny this movie was, Seen this when I was a little children, this clip was the first time I seen in a fat minute
When he provoked Adam, everything Montgomery was saying was completely right. The romance between Barry & Vanessa; the fact that all bees are cousins, etc
The amount of things wrong with this movie are just... unimaginable lol Worker bees are all female Bees aren't really intellectual as individuals Artificial beefarms are actually beneficial to bees (they protect bees from wasps etc.) Bees usually live up to 1~2 days The entire purpose of the male bee is to mate and then die Bees (honeybees) usually die after they sting once
One might think the lawyer is a caricature but he is truly and honestly an unbiased depiction of what the legal system does to humans who may have entered law school with honest intentions. :)
Nah bro, this guy was fighting to save humanity and nature while putting himself on the line, letting his whole cake be harmed by Barry's friend. I would call him the role model for anyone who wants to be a lawyer or even for the ethics that we should all have.
