That's so wonderful, Jim! Could you tell us more about your dog? What's his name and what breed is he? Was he a puppy when you found him? How did he take to living in your house after he had been living outside?
@@jimmyk127 Jimmy, I didn't know you were a Spartan!! I've never been to Laconia but would love to visit. Are the people very laconic there, or is that a misnomer? 😄
@@OlivertheBeagle i think.you message the wrong person lol im jimmy from NYC the restaurant guy from time square iam. Greek i dont have a dog lol the other greek has the dog lol
To be honest, beagles are practically clones. I don’t think there is a very high percentage of beagles with aggressive or really very varying personalities on any extreme scale. Most will follow their nose to the best scents and will practically pull the moon in for treats they like. I’ve also noticed most are the best cuddle bugs ever.
Oliver knows an apple a day keeps the Vet away! I think I want an apple now, after hearing Oliver crunching on that tasty fruit---such an adorable little whine to get your attention! Hugs Oliver Love from Maine---Nancy
Yes, he sort of modulates his whines based on how badly he wants something. If I was feeding him toast with peanut butter, I think the whines would have been more insistent! Here it was just apple, so he was a bit more relaxed about it.
I love the little grumbly whine sounds Oliver makes when he is saying 'more please - now!' Oliver you are too cute!! Please respond to comments for 24 hours after posting videos as I only get my notifications late - perhaps because of time difference. Always love a response or heart from dear Oliver. You are such a good boy, Oliver - love you!!
Oliver videos always make me feel a t least a little bit throughout the day. Thank you so much! I used to have a Beagle and I so miss this type of interaction.
Oliver is too cute.....thanks for sharing him with us. Your adventures have inspired me to take my dog with me on vacation, no Kennel this year. I wouldn't have thought I could do it if I hadn't seen your cross country journey. So excited, my beagle and I can't wait !!!
I just thought about Oliver - and there he is. ... He is really spreading happiness and joy all the time, even just eating. And his stories - and unmisunderstandable 'questions' are awesome. He IS the cutest and most adorable Beagle. ... I wish you all a great weekend. 'Cs' from Germany. 😉🙋♀️
@@OlivertheBeagle Thanks for replying. I've just watched again and can't stop laughing. He really is a fantastic communicator. So intelligent! I love your parenting and the thought bubbles. Your posts bring such joy. Have a wonderful weekend from an English lass in 🇦🇺
Having a beagle ourselves, this is so recognizable! Although our beagle (Bowie) is now 8 years old, his "technique" nowadays mainly consists of a moan that should best be described of one of a dirty old man :-), or just a loud bark. We really love your videos as it so much confirms how beagles are alike worldwide. Thanks for sharing!
I have an Uncle George who eats just like that. When he does it, I can't wait for him to leave. When wee Oliver chews, I could have the same sound on a USB, drive around and listen to it all day!😄
Oliver is a good manipulator, using his cuteness to get more delicious apple. I like McIntosh and Spartan apples myself, a lot of apples grow where I live.
We lost our beagle Jack in December last year. He used his eyes very well, his growl, but also would hit me with his paw if I ignored him...and then look at me so innocently like 'I didn't do anything'. I love watching Oliver; he's adorable
That's first lunch over, now where's second lunch? Oliver doesn't seem completely convinced that 3 courses is enough! Hard to resist those beautiful beseeching beagle eyes. 🙂
You know it's hilarious how a beagle's irises are as big as their entire eyes. Image looking a guy but you can't see the whites of his eyes, for a human that is downright terrifying. For a dog, it makes us do anything for them.
I wish there was a Ancestry DNA kit for dogs I'm sure O would be a descendant of my Beagle. He was born in 1968 in Kansas. He's like a clone of my pup I can't get over it.
