This was the most clear, comprehensive, well thought out Glasto video I’ve seen. Thank you for putting this together. We’re not going this year, but my hope is that when my daughter’s a bit older we’ll have a nice family trip down to Worthy Farm. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
i did over 25 glastonburys 15 at least working as a steward in the green fields, well done this is a fantastic work and for newbies (always is a lot of newbies) comprehensive and honest, answers so many of the questions I got asked time and time again. well done.
I’m German, and too old and ill to go to Glastonbury. Your video gives me great joy, as your in-depth explanations and telling the ins and outs make me feel like I’m going myself! Thanks ❤
I’ve only ever been to Glasto to work on the stalls, back in the mid 90’s and it was hell on earth! ( The Green field was my peaceful restful area💚) Now my daughter is there for her first time with her friends😊So I’m praying she has a beautiful experience 🤞🏼🤩🌞🌻 Thankyou 🙏🏼 for this beginners guide👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🕊💜👼🏼
Great advice many thanks specially with wristband didn’t think about this even though I attended over 20 festivals but yet I’ve not been to Glastonbury been unable to obtain tickets for the past eight years
dude I’ve watched your Glastonbury 2022 video and it was so good! This isn’t my first Glastonbury but you are nailing these videos and it’s just hyped me up even more! I hope to bump into you and have a pint you seem sound! if I don’t then have an awesome week!
Ah really appreciate the kind words brother. Just love the farm so much! If you see me mooching about definitely say hello! Otherwise have a belter mate.
Sounds decent bro! who are you excited to see this year? I’m keen to see Fred again..! I’m using villagers gate this year so won’t be too long queuing 😄
Thank You! I have been many times but never as a customer. I would love my daughter to take my grandchildren one day and this excellent guide will show them what they are in for much better than I can. I would add a sun hat, as on blazing hot days shade can be at a premium especially in front of the big stages.
Going for the first time this year and rewatching all of your Glastonbury videos since the line up announcement, getting excited! Would love to see more this year if you’re going 🎉
Mate this is just unreal - you'll remember me from loving your Glasto 2023 Vlog - this again just sums up exactly what it is. If I get lucky next year (in regards to getting a ticket), then hopefully I can see you there and buy a pint!
This is a fab video we want to go in our campervan doubt we will get tickets this year so planning to go next but I’ve saved this video in prep for it!!
This was a really good guide, top marks. Forgot the cider bus though… I mean. I will be there this year will be my 13th. Have a great time.. I know I will.
Brilliant video this. I watched some of your previous vids & watched this the day before I went to my 1st glasto. It def helped me although my group of mates had been previously so I just followed them Mainly. I did actually see you on the Thursday in the temple. What a place SE corner is. Hopefully this isn’t my last glasto.
I can confirm that The Temple was amazing Thursday night, I hope you guys were there!? absolutely lashed up! was the highlight of the 5 days being at Worthy Farm, I've got my fingers crossed that you were there and have some footage as I broke my phone on the Saturday and lost all my vids etc! just waiting patiently for the drop! many thanks :)
Your first time in a camper? Tuesday evening, watching the sun go down over the site from the top of 'hill of death' above gate c... Its a wonderful experience.....
@@JekyllFestival Ah, well the next bit of the Tuesday evening experience is suddenly realising just how many people are already there as you see their torch lights wandering about! ( we're in spring ground/woodsies this year, so thats all new for us).
Great vid, a tip I use is to have a cheeky poo in random tents, it saves queuing for the long drops plus it does make me giggle thinking of the weary returning to my handy work. Be yourself guys.
I can't comprehend the scale of the place, with the population of a small city in one place at the same having the times of their lives. It dwarfs the other major ones like Download or Leeds/Reading and even they seem huge.
If you're meeting up with people, see if you can camp together in somewhere like hitchin and for them to bring heavy stuff (like crates of cans) or maybe stick yer tent up..
Hi mate, of course, there is a vegan queue at pedestrian gate A that you can access the site from which will allow you to bypass any traffic. Make sure you keep your vegan pass on you as they won’t let you use the queue without it!
I've been to Glastonbury festival I went back in the 80s .. with the numbers you say attend Glastonbury in this year ..250k ... I have to say isn't the largest... wacken metal festival in Germany get more ... and wacken I've been 7 times ...however your presentation of Glastonbury festival...10 out of 10
That sounds wild!! It’s the largest greenfield festival by size, don’t think by population it is however as there are other festival such as burning man with an bigger population also. Thanks a lot appreciate it!
If you buy a coach travel ticket, but your friends have a campervan ticket, can you still stay in the campervan area once you arrive at the festival? I see that you can’t get a campervan spot if you have a coach ticket so wondering if this would stop me actually staying on the campervan site altogether, even if I do travel by coach.
@@JekyllFestival that's down to personal preference really. What let's glasto down for me is it's preachy politics and hypocrisy. Boomtown fair is one I really want to goto but that costs the same as glasto
Mostly all festivals take the piss with the car parking permits. Boomtown is an awesome festival. Pretty much Glastonbury’s naughty areas on a smaller scale!
@@JekyllFestival I know people who have worked security at Glastonbury. Some next level seedy business. Suppose with a capacity of a large town you're gonna get wrong uns among the crowd
my mate got nabbed a few years ago selling e pills to a undercover cop lol ended up getting 9 months prison time sadly he is no longer with us died last year due to drink prob rip rizzo
as above he got nabbed at glasto keep your eyes peeled for the undercover cops if you got your drugs plus try not to sell stock up before you set off stay safe and high at glasto
I think a huge thing is having something that lights up for at night, something distinctive, because it can be super hard to find people. Flags are amazing, but a pain in the ass to hold onto.
