I had to come watch this after just watching the video of Sherpa's final days. Sherpa indeed has had an amazing life. I wish we could all take away just a bit of the pain of your loss. Such a sweet friendship . I had a childhood dog friend. My momma got him , his name was Tige and she got him when he was 6 weeks old and I was born 3 weeks later . He was an English Shepherd. He died when I was 7 . Seventy years ago; I remember him like it was yesterday. ❤❤❤

Sherpa will be missed Very much. You grew up with him and showed as much love to him as your dad did and still does. My condolences on this loss of not just a dog, but a member of your family. Be strong for your dad and encourage him to keep making his videos. I cried for a while last night after making my self watch the painful decision your father had to make for Sherpa, and it pains me so much to say he did what was right for Sherpa. Take care of your dad and encourage him not to give up. So many of us would really miss him if he stopped making his videos of whatever. Sherpa will always be with each and everyone one of us too. The first time this popped up for me was two months ago. The second time, today, the day Sherpa gained his wings. I know everything is going to be really hard for your dad and all of you who knew and loved Sherpa. I am sending my sympathy and wishes that everyone's heart is held in God's caring arms. No, it is not fair that they do not live as long as us, however, I completely believe that they go to heaven. I just do not think God would give me something to love so much on this earth and not allow us to be with them once again in eternity. The horses, dogs and cats are hanging out with my dad. My mom is still trying to help though she's terrified of all of the above, and (chuckle) wondering what God was thinking.

I told your dad another Sherpa is out there waiting for your love. Don't say it's too early. When I lost a pet and then another came into my life, I never said it was too early. Keep your eyes open for whoever it may be. They'll be blessed like Sherpa was.

I hope your Dad doesn’t wait too long to get another pup. Not necessarily another Husky. We waited too long and now we’re older and feel we can’t. But we miss having a dog so much. Another tip, always have 2 pets, 3 or 4 yrs apart in age; when one has to leave you have a buddy to grieve with but who also needs you to take care of them and keep moving forward. RIP Sherpa.

Thank you for sharing yours and Sherpa life with us, it helped me a lot when I was going through the loss of my dog. He was very special

You have something that most of us dog owners wished we had after our pups have passed. You have lots of pics and videos of Sherpa. Not sure how many didn't make it into videos but even those should be cherished and watched on days you need to smile. Sherpa loved his family like all good dogs do. Thats what we should remember about him.
