I have two laptops, one got the Windows 11 update, the other it's not happening far two old...I'll have to look towards investing in a new laptop next year I have for too many programs I use to be changing operating systems...Microsoft are taking the piss but it is, what it is...I'm a UK 🇬🇧 user...keep up the good work my man.

Since I'm using a Win10 Enterprise LTSC(if you know what that means), there's plenty of time, up until 2034! It goes without saying that I don't get message from Microsoft!

@@cwtek1 Oh yeah they do I already installed them, don't you worry about that! It seems that you're not aware that that's not the difference between Win10 Pro and Win10 Enterprise!!! There's not even a single program that didn't work with Win10 Enterprise! How can you even imagine that non-MS programs wouldn't work with Win10 Enterprise?! Why wouldn't they?!

What version of ltc do you run? I thought that LTSC 2021 IoT Enterpise was the one with the most suport years left until 2032.

Had to download a calendar for Windows 11. Why the hell was the calendar removed? Back on Windows 10 for now, but will switch to Linux before the crap of Windows 11.

Very good useful video and the advice includes how to carry on using 10 with a third party Anti Virus - I think that is my best option. I find too many programs I use on 10 are not compatible with 11 so I am darned well not going to upgrade. Windows 11 has its demons and I don't want to join that club. I am a believer in if it ain't broke then don't fix it. W10 does everything I need and perfectly my needs are modest. I won't be bullied by MSoft

I'm 100% sure support will be extended either because Microsoft realize it's high market share (over 60% now) or EU will force them to do so. So we might get the paid updates for free here in the EU. At least I hope so because my primary PC lacks TPM 2.0 (might be available with a BIOS update but I don't want to risk bricking it) and my secondary one has an old Ryzen CPU. This one is upgradeable but why should I do that if I'm satisfied with its performance? If they really end support, hacks might be available to get the paid updates for free...

End of support isn't about the antivirus, for which the native Defender is the best. Instead, we're talking about updates that fix bugs and exploits that malware and crackers may use to do nefarious things. Personally, I toyed around for a while and now moved on to Linux (Linux Mint and Fedora KDE are great user friendly ones that look and work mostly like Windows, and the average user doesn't ever need to touch the console unlike the typical stereotype of those systems). If your laptop doesn't support updating to Windows 11, you could consider that. Of course there's some learning to get used to a few of the differences, but otherwise it should be a smooth sail.

Just use rufus for windows11 and put the upgrade in mbr mode and make sure all check boxes are marked usb stick required because the os is too large that is how you install windows 11 Plus you will need to boot in the boot manager under your usb not your dvd rom only sun this works not the officail microsoft website. Rufus is the only way to install windows plain and simple the version is 23h2 That is the process to install windows on an unsupported systems you can do the same for building a pc. ❤

well as Microsoft as deemed I cannot use windows 11 on my Pc which is perfectly good I will be staying on 10 indefinitely as I will not be buying a new PC for a good few years and Linux will not run the software I need. And no I will not be paying for support. hopefully someone will find a way to block the nag screens. I suspect there will be many millions of copies of windows 10 for a long time.

@@cwtek1 think oldest in use PC ive seen was in a chinees pickup food shop they stil ran a MS-DOS machine but it had old vintage screen and keyboard+pc case but i wonder if they stil use it... because if that thing goes X-x they cant operate the restaurant xd...anyways im sticking with windows 10 probaly i find windows 11 alienating also when i let my freind put windows 10 on my pc machine i asked him to make it near windows 7 with serten things / includding disableing some of the B.S bloatware. that most new OS come with. I just wane be effecient when i wane game or get things done. Also i felt realy comfy on windows 7 my upgrade to 10 was kinda needed eventully. But yeah ofcourse Mircosoft want everybody to move to windows 11 quickly i mean we are al made of cash trees right?

I will point out: Microsoft did say Windows 10, was going to be the last Windows OS, (Microsoft tell lies). The End for Windows 11, has happened already, before Windows 10 has reached the End of October 2025. Not that many people want or need Windows 11, with it’s ridiculous requirements. Who wants Copilot & Rollcall (more spyware) & more adverts.(I did hear Rollcall is NOT active by default) It was. Windows 11 was released 5th October, 2021 (going by the 3 years releases of a OS). Why bother with 11,(Windows 12, will be released end of 2024 or 2025), Windows 11 is like Vista, no body really wanted it. I have stopped & blocked the unusable crashing New Outlook from Updating itself (New Outlook is junk. New Outlook score in the Microsoft Store is 2.8 is low side Edge score is 2.2 is a low, to use or be any good.

I'm not buying windows 11. I don't want it and I don't need it. How do I revoke their priviledges to advertise on my fucking computer? I swear to fucking god, I'm about to build a cabin in Montana and start collecting silver spoons.
