The Beginning of the End, Pluto Retrograde || May 2 -October 11 2024 | Astrology 

19:30 after 2 years of cocooning in my bedroom, I’ve been PULLED to dig my hands in the earth. My family moved to a country property with a little finger of a prairie forest poking into the back corner of our yard. It started earlier in the week when I had the impulse to weed the cleavers (velcro vines) taking over part of the forest. 40 hours of forest bathing later, I feel like I’ve plugged into an entirely different (and deeply nourishing) matrix. I haven’t experienced this before. It feels subtle if I’m not putting my awareness directly on it but it’s still so soothing 🥰

The term "shadow work" has never sat well with me, but I wasn't sure why. I think because it tends to demonise the vastness of the unconscious, which is furtive with potential. I agree it's mostly about conditioning. Psychology peaked with Jung. And once it started to divorce itself from mysticism and alchemy we lost a great deal in the name of data.

I have had 2 Pluto transits simultaneously. Conjunct my 11th house Saturn at 29:17 Cap and 2nd house Venus at 29:32 Aries. It has been white knuckling, ugly, revealing, powerful, eye opening, and the "Fork in the road". I took back my power in 11th house issues: what is a friend vs what is a transactional person; What are goals and what must be done to attain them (hint: planning, hard work, never giving up, keeping silent about them), and 2nd house: being honest about who and what I truly love, and do not love, and value and not having to hide them in the shadows any longer. Actually not only feeling this, but embracing who I am, and who I am not, and will not fake or pretend any longer.. I am me unapologetically. And no one will ever hold power of these two areas over me again. I learned Boundaries. I really got to learn these things to the depths of my Soul. So absolutely, the Power of Pluto is real, it's unrelenting in its power, and it is for your own good whether you realize it or not, you will at the end. You will have to work, you will have to let go, and you will come out an authentically strong, empowered, sovereign being in those realms that that process unfolded.

I have 10 cardinal signs. So from 2008 Pluto has been square, opposite, or conjunct. The Pluto square Uranus times were really hard. I have been trying to support schools in addressing bullying. Bullying is all about power over others. I have failed for 16 years. My ascendant is 29:29 libra. In June 2023, last time Pluto was square I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. I am still fighting this. I am so hoping I can stay alive long enough to bring my community focused approach to supporting how young people can positively interact with each other to the world.

I really appreciate the thing you said about shadow and how the mainstream approach to doing shadow work is part of our western thought conditioning and newer ways in the approach will be more efficgoing forward. I think thats what you said. Pluto is sextile my ascendant and forms a square to my Mercury but it also rules my 3rd house and I am a Mercury-ruled native. So I can't help but this this retrograde is going to be hugely significant. Just like how the mercury retrograde recently felt, I was upside down for a while but somehow things have got better through the chaos. Equally, I do feel a powerful shift in overall energy surrounding what I feel to be Pluto-related issues for me, some very long-lasting ones that are finally being addressed. I am quietly optimistic about it all and happy to know things are changing for me!

Hi Iris , would this effect my NN at 28°Capricorn? My natal Pluto sits at 29° Virgo in 12th House too. Pluto as an Apex also points at my moon in Pisces in 5th which in turn is square Saturn in 8th . Mercury at 2 degrees of Aries…I’m feeling it. And Mars at 29 of Cap sooo it’s going to go back there…oh…Uranus at 2 of Scorpio. EVERY SINGLE TRANSIT is hitting my chart personally atm. The eclipse was on my ascendant, conjunct my Chiron and you couldn’t write what happened…hospitalised under a Deprivation of Liberty Act because of a delirium…i thought i was dreaming and basically, the door to my subconscious opened. I’m still trying to process that it happened let alone the content i experienced- and played out. Aaand the Saturn Mercury conjunction was on my birthday so there’s my solar return chart…there’s more and its just so much I’m going to need a reading with Iris because…i need help with this!
