Now that is a striking army! I have given thought about collecting some forces for that period in 15mm. Id like to use Field of Glory as the rules as I am not fond of warlord games. I will look to get that Age of Bronze book though as having resources for information is never a bad thing.
The book is strikingly good. I was surprised actually. FOG. works well for this period for sure. Or MEG written by the author of FOG. You have lots of options.
@@thekrausecollection15mmmin53 I saw some reviews on it and it definitely seemed like it was a great resource even if you don't play Hail Caesar. I like FOG and as a non tournament player for me to like a rule set made for tournament play says a lot. What do you use for your bases? I keep forgetting to ask that.
@@nordicmaelstrom4714 I use the normal convention of 40mm frontage. But it always seemed that the units were two bases frontage. I use 80mm frontage and 60mm depth so I can fit everything and be able to make the bases look good. It works for me. Small units are on 40mm bases.
Are use the warlord set of games for the age of bronze and it seems to work pretty well for me. I think all the rules generally play pretty well. It comes down to who’s playing the game with you and what kind of food is there to eat?😂😂
@@thekrausecollection15mmmin53 I honestly don't care for warlord games rules. I have an idea of taking the Great Battles of History from GMT rules and port them to miniatures. Since I am pretty much a solo gamer it should work for me. The only problem is getting the motivation to paint miniatures when i can just push counters around.
