For a home hobbyist recordist, I think being ready to go helps productivity and creativity. Nothing is worse than feeling like recording and having the urge die as you have to set up. I learned early that the more I can have stuff out and ready to go, the more fun and productivity I have.

Came in handy yesterday, we had a rehearsal at my house and it only took me an hour to get everything set up and ready to go.

Been wanting to try these, as an obvious copy of the Sennheiser E906 but like 1/4 the price. I don't run a professional studio, so they might hold up okay.

I'm quite happy with the sound. We did a rehearsal here yesterday, I haven't listened to the recording yet, but that will be on my list of things to do tonight. We'll see how it worked out.
