I care a lot about my laptop - would you recommend this backpack or should I go for Bellroy Campus because of it's suspended laptop pocket? Which one provides more protection within laptop compartment?
@@RushfasterTV I have the campus and the backpack plus. I've always wanted a mix between the two and it seems like the version 2 is just that. I'm looking forward to it!
Hmm hard to say - it's 53cm tall so it depends on how long your back/torso is and also if you typically wear bags tight or a bit loose. Hope that helps! :) - Ed
Such a strange pocket setup in the main section; that small bottle pocket takes away from the overall capacity of that area. Would’ve liked to have seen a slip pocket for documents or a tablet. Also, the bag doesn’t stand up on it’s own which is unfortunate. As nice as this bag looks, for the money this one is a miss for me.
Yeah it is an interesting pocket layout I agree. Books and documents might have a hard time laying against anything if you do use the waterbottle pocket (unless you put it in the laptop compartment). Although having said that - the backpack has quite a few redeeming properties: the laptop protection is excellent and the comfort / cushioning is sublime. I guess in the end it's all a matter of what things you're looking for in a bag. Hope you end up finding a pack you like! :) - Ed
Curious whether that water bottle compartment can be used to put a small mirrorless camera. I know there won't be much padding but it could separate it from the rest of things enough to not get scratched up?
Glad it was helpful! If you're planning to buy, you can use the following links below. It would help the channel a lot. Depends on how you're planing on using it I guess: the Plus definitely gives a bit more space for organising your gear. But the V2 is definitely an improvement from the V1. The internal space is significantly different from the V1 (15L) to V2 (20L). Hope that helps - Ed.
Rushfaster Possibly a silly question. Is the 20L representative of the main compartment or the additional capacity from the front pocket? I never understood how this capacity thing worked...
I need help... I'm a 34-year-old woman who's going to college again for one year and I need a backpack that 1) can hold my (note)books/binders/laptop/water bottle, 2) has a fair amount of pockets (actually, the more pockets the better...) AND 3) doesn't look like a traditional school backpack... I've seen a LOT of reviews and I'm lost. Great reviews by the way!
This one is the Ink Blue version, but it has recently been replaced by a newer Ink Blue which is blue all over (instead of black at the bottom). The leather trim is now a natural tan colour instead of black. I actually prefer the original Ink Blue, you might still be able to get the older one if you look around. Hope that helps! - Ed
Hmm I would actually pick the Shift! I personally love that bag, and I love that you can modify the capacity with the flaptop. The Classic Plus is good no doubt, but I'd go for the Shift. If you're looking for something bigger and for Cycling - maybe check out Chrome Industries bags - they are really good. - Ed

No unfortunately not, the handle won't stretch wide enough to passthrough a luggage handle. What you can do is put the backpack sideways and tighten the shoulder straps and the sternum strap (that works reasonably well). Hope that helps! - Ed
I don't know anything about video editing or anything like that, but why do I think that the lighting is harsh and the editing is aggresive? Is it just me? Enlighten me pls
Hahaha yeah there are moments in the video where the lighting adapts a bit poorly to the colours. We're still learning and trying to improve our videos - so we appreciate your feedback! As for the editing, I think that's all a matter of style and preference - our editing style is influenced by some of the content creators out there that we really like and are inspired by! And you also probably don't wanna hear all the 'um's and 'ah's in between - so we cut those out haha. Thanks for watching and thanks the feedback! Hope my reply was 'enlightening' haha :) - Ed.
You mean the Second Edition yea? If so - it's definitely on it's way! :) If you're looking for the first edition, check the links in the description. - Ed
