Well this 12" is what a bootleg remix is all about...take a wicked track & (somehow) make it sound better & more dancefloor friendly - that's what these guys did & my gosh the breakdown around the 2min mark which flows off into the distance & comes back with a crackin slow rise into the vocals, synths & then finally the beats smash back in to make this one of those 'one more tune' or 'last for the set' type track - basically shows what a remix should be...ReSpeKt to Kosmas Epsilon & Zorz 8-)
i dont know why i have this track, i think a friend gave it to me 6 years aho or more. I found it again on my old ipod and i felt in love again with this song. So wonderful
@CruiserLeo2007 I disagree with the comments about it lacking vocals therefor not being as good as it could have been. Real prog didnt need the full on vocals back then. Listen to the power of the sounds behind it...if you heard this at a good club your face would melt right off and you wouldnt be able to feel your legs. This tune is a monster
But my friend, thats the beauty of our type of music. We push the limits to the extreme. If we stayed faithful to the original it ceases to stay a remix and instead becomes a 'cover'. There are many electronic artists these days that are great, have nice production techniques and thus can accordingly think outside the box. But to be a great artist, the box must cease to exist...
the uploader posted the remix, cut from a kosmas epsilon set from 2004. you can hear "Nathan Fake - Things Are Getting Better" in the end of this video, mixed around 7.20 and plays until the very end
