Yes a coincidence. The music was chosen as something that Adam Smith (1723-1790) could have heard in his lifetime. The piece is Rondeau from Abdelazer, written by Henry Purcell in 1695. A homage to the sounds of his time, and a bit of a guess as to weather he'd heard it.
