+Richard Marsden Hi Richard, I just found this page, so sorry that i haven't answered. I love them to do their own thing and when they are going their own way. That's what bengal cats do, that's why I love them. Have a great day Richard.
Thank you for watching our Bengals, they certainly very cool cats. They know it and act cool and also have very cool idea’s. I amortunate that I am able to share my days with Bengals and a assure you we never have a dull moment.
There our precious pets and I love them. I am very fortunate to share my home with my Bengals, so I adapted my house and back garden. I love to see them behaving as natural as possible, although they are pets. The history of Bengal cats starts with the Asian leopard cat and I love to see those genes in my Bengals: as free spirits. Once a year one of them has kittens and we take great care finding them the perfect home. The last days were very exciting. Lola was expecting her kittens and I always am very nervous. Yesterday her kittens were born and I am exhausted, it’s always an a emotional roller-coaster for me. Now I am over the moon with Lola and her two gorgeous kittens. I m intended to put video’s on my channel every day. I hope you will enjoy them
Frederick Dunn ... my husband usually doesn’t take a whole lot of interest in my cats ( not like I do) but he saw one of these, and was really taken by them for some reason..they are beautiful, but that was uncharacteristic of him.. lol
Your kittens are very cute! It looks like they are barely big enough to make the wheel turn, unless there are more than one running... Enjoyed your video very much!
LaVon Fabian thank you so much, takes all of them but they always find a way. The weel spins smooth and useually they jump up as high as they can to make it start spinning.
It's OK. Ivan has build this wheel and it's still in very good condition. Cats have very fast refllexes, but there are no openings in the wheel, so it's completely safe.
I've wanted to make one for awhile now, do they still actively use this? The bengals I have tend to love something for a few days then never touch it again.
Hi, would you be welling to share the details of how you built your wheel. I am most interested in how it is set up in the back, what kind of bearings or hub, and how it is attached to a tube/post. Being over a years since you published this video, how is the wheel doing over the test of time. I'm currently getting ready to build a wheel and so I'm gathering as much information as I can before I start buying and building. I really hope to hear from you soon. Thanks and bye for now (from Elizabeth and my Bengal Nikita)
The wheel is perfectly working. It is used by Jessy and he is a full grown, heavy build Bengal. We did not have to do anything to the wheel since day one. Ivan made sure that the wheel is build very very sturdy. Making the wheel was his first DIY project and he made it with his friend who made the part you want to know more about. It was made bij trial and error. Sorry that I cant give you more info.
The last days were very exciting. Lola was expecting her kittens and I always am very nervous. Yesterday her kittens were born and I am exhausted, it’s always an a emotional roller-coaster for me. Now I am over the moon with Lola and her two gorgeous kittens. I m intended to put her video’s on my channel every day. I hope you will enjoy them too. Today we party, all the Bengals and I, they all have visited Lola and her kittens now we party: singing, meowing, dancing, jumping and having a very good time
Conny Schiffer I was telling someone earlier that even my husband is fascinated with the breed. lol it was weird because...although he loves our cats..I wouldn’t call him a “ cat person “ lol. But he saw a spotted Bengal one day and fell in love. He says, if he ever decides to actually “ buy “ a full blooded cat. He really wants a bengal. lol I’m sorry to bore you with that.. it’s just cute to me, because it’s way out of character for the old man..lol.
So sorry James, when Ivan made the wheels I did filmed the making of one. We have planned another and I’ll make a precise report of it, on film of course.
I really like your design. Would you be willing to post the film you do have of Ivan making the wheel? Also, any instructions or plans would be so helpful. Thanks!
i think it is better if you attach the wheel to the wall rather than give it some risky foot like that. a kitten's tail could easily stuck in that gap. but if you consider it is safe than it would be safe. better be careful tough.
Hey Makenthoe, thanks for your advice. When building something for kittens you'll have their safety in mind indeed. There is no gap anywhere in their wheel so dont worry about that.We have one wheel attatched to the wall, but that wheel is placed outdoor. The noise when our bengals are running high speed doesn't hinder naighbours. Inside the house wheels have a heavy base: two concrete tiles ( 60cm by 60 cm.) Every part of the wheel is build with sturdyness in mind. We have that wheel four several years now, and the Bengals still enjoys iet very day. Ivan checks the wheels regular.

Beautiful wheel. No idea how you made the outside =P
Thanks Solo, Iam sure you love cats. Bengal cats are a formidable breed, and to my mind, they have to complement the personality of their owners. It takes a self-confident personality, with lots and a good sense of humour. Greetings to you and your cats.
You have to look for bookshelves, ours are 60 cm wide. We can easily put the shelfs away when we they aren’t needed anymore, it’s a flat pack. I can send you pictures of the construction, if you tell me how to do that.
Well we just broke down and bought the One Fast Cat wheel . We have had it for almost two weeks now but my new Bengal kitten Leos the only one that shows interest in it. Any suggestions to get them more interested in it ? thanks Your kittens are adorable ! :)
Our Bengals love their cat wheel. We love to play with them and make every toy more interesting. Hold your finger nail against the wheel when your Bengal walks in it, the sounds will make him think there is a mouse some where hidden. He will run high speed to get his prey. When your Bengal isn’t interested try to get his attention by making soft scratching sounds, soft sounds imitating a mouse behind the wheel will attract his attention for sure. You can also use a short piece of rope attached to a stick, that’s new, exciting and it surely will get your Bengal’s attention. Don’t use a known toy, just something new. You want to wake up his hunters instinct, so soft exciting scratches will work well. Bengals love to hunt together, so be his best hunting partner, Have fun!
We have got more questions how to make a wheel, but I only have a few pictures, and I can’t find them, so sorry. Our wheel is very sturdy, because Ivan makes everything very, very sturdy for our Bengals
I love your wheel. What fabric did you use to line the inner portion where your kittens place their paws to run? My cats don't like the smooth surface used for One Fast Cat
You should never force them to walk in the wheel, that’s not necessary by the way. When the kittens are running and climbing easily we bring the wheel in their room. Bengal kittens are very inquisitive and when they start investigating the wheel, will move. So they start walking and later running even jumping in and out the wheel. The toy was introduced for it very exciting sound: they thought they were chasing a mouse
Thank you for your remark, we are very sensitive too and we have done research before building one. When a cat walks and certainly when he runs his body is stretched,it helps keeping balance. The wheel is large enough and because there are no openings in the wheel, the cat can’t get trapped in it. Do not worry, and enjoy our videos.
She's talking about the slace between the wheel and the wood plank. When it turns the paw of a cat outside the wheel could be trapped in that space while an other cat is using the wheel
like the wheel, are you a breeder? i hope not. with so many unwanted cats and kittens on the streets, it makes no sense to exploit them, i trust you understand.
Thank you for your response, you are absolutely correct safety first! Bengal cats are very agile and their safety always needs to be taken into consideration. The back of the wheel is completely sealed off. All cats and their kittens too, love to run high speed, so the surface of the inside of the is made off a rough material that prevents slipping while running.
You are right; it will be horrible when something happens to the kittens or the cats. Ivan has thought longer how to keep the cats safe than the building of the wheel. The first time the cats used it, I was very nervous, trying to control them, in vane obviously carefully, Bengals love running high speed. When the kitten saw the adults running, they followed. Kittens often go in groups, so it’s very comical, every one going either way.We have the wheels for several years now, fortunately lots of fun, some bumping into each other, but no accidents.
Just talking about me here... I wouldn’t placate people like Mike Day.... they’ll find something wrong with anything no matter how sweet or wonderful or family friendly.. all they do is bitch and try to ruin nice things.
Noot Noot I’m so very sorry if I said something mean... I was just into it with some real jerks... and I really apologize. I do. I’ve been watching cute animal videos.. and I’m amazed at the nasty things people say, and the fault they find over nothing at all... I guess I was on the defense.. and I really apologize
Thanks for your compliment, they are lovely kittens indeed. Arhan, we live in the Netherlands, so it is quite imposseble to get one. There are Bengal cats catteries in India as well,
Thank you, who wants kids LOL, I love to have kittens.
I am so sorry, Ivan made those cat wheels years ago and they are perfect. The Bengals still enjoy running in them. But it was a serious bog project and when he made them we did not made video's yet.
