The hood latch might not be a design flaw. If the door needs to be opened for the hood to be opened, then it means the designers want the car to be in a complete stop in order to open the hood.

Honestly I'd have this over any current supercar: -Limited - Hold it's Value or depreciate much - Fast as other supercars - 2nd to rolls Royce in terms of luxury - Imo really really looks nice, better design and shape than most cars - One of a kind exhaust note - Rare W12 engine

I'm not sure if that hood latch is really a flaw. By making sure the door has to be open in order to open the hood, it keeps you from accidentally unlatching the hood while driving down the road.

For 300k this thing better be able to inflate the tires instead of just checking the tire pressure

I have a 2013 audi a4, the hood latch thing works the same way, u need to open the door to pull the latch. Its a safety feature.

You can't open the hood in a golf without opening the door either. It's a security feature to prevent thieves from being able to open the bonnet by just breaking the window glass (thereby preventing them from being able to disable the alarm/fiddle with the engine).

The reason why you can't open the hood when the door is closed is safety. You don't want your hood to open accidentally when driving over 200mph.

Doug. The hood or "bonnet" latch is designed to only open when the door is open. Most VW Audi products are that way. It's to prevent opening the hood on accident.

The reason you need to open the door before you can release the bonnet (hood) latch is so that it can't be released accidentally when driving. This is very common on Audi/VW's.

Hey Doug, that hood pop handle is no design flaw, my old and gone 1996 LHS had the pop lever by the seat, just on the floor and inches from the seat. My leg itched after replacing the radiator, alternator, and a looong powersteering line, in one evening. When I brought my hoof closer to my reach, I opened my hood at 60 mph, and the hood and windshield really, really, hit it off, to the tune of $680 in parts, and more precious off days. Safelight was great, but no reciept unless an insurance claimed repair, I was Mr. Deductible Liability that day. Great review!

Tihs is more or less their street version of the grand sport GT they race at le mans. They were required by FIA rules to build 700 of them to pass homologation so they built ten extra ones to make sure it passed.

I'm pretty sure that if I had the money to buy that car, Bentley would also figure out a way to put a manual transmission in it. I also think that rear wing doesn't fit the car so well, it's looks so aftermarket, but it isn't ugly. And I love they didn't put wood and it's all black.
