There are so many o/u options. Is this best value for my first clays comp gun ? Seems to have newest tech and engineering. Is it 2 grand better than silver pigeon or 686, 692 ?
Craig Weeke I just picked up my 694 a couple days ago, I have the adjustable comb version. I am a novice to the sport as well and figure this one would give me room to grow into. It feels amazeballs when holding it, dealer I bought it from set it up for me and wow!!
@@tgsoutdoors Look forward to that! Currently have a 692 sporter with adjustable stock and was thinking of moving up to a DT11, but that is getting spendy. Is the 694 actually an upgrade from the 692.... lets see :)
sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
I picked up one of there the other day it feels better then any other gun I’ve ever picked up I wish they would offer some engraving options for the 694 or a black edition like the DT11 after all this is aimed at those that want a DT but dong want to spend the money my next gun will either be a 694 or Breda Zenith both amazing guns I currently shoot a 686 SP1 game
Great channel, thanks always enjoy the viewing. This shot gun is new old, heavier, larger as it should be, traditional pistol grip. 690, 692 were not winners for the brand, hence a more traditional approach. Sporting shotguns are never interchangeable with traditional trap guns, sorry, disagree with your opionion.
I have finally come around to my Browning 725 Pro Sporting, but I would never buy it again either. Browning guns are chunky, utilitarian, but a work horse. Where the Italian guns feel way more refined, classy, and feel smoother to me. They seem to swing and handle better too. Now I want to pick up a 694!!! Oh, PS What about compared to CG Summit Accent?
How does the 694 compare to the Summit Accent or Impact? Which is a couple of guns I’m looking at. I want a general do all gun, 50% Trap, 40% Sporting Clay / 5- stand and 10% Skeet, for crosser training. So far I’ve been doing okay with my Browning 725 Pro Sporting, USA version, but it’s not as elegant and sleek as an Italian gun. What is a good all around gun you would recommend in the $5k or less market? Or do you recommend I just buy a dedicated trap gun and use my Browning Pro Sporting for aspiring Clays and Skeet? It’s hard to justify having several nice shotgun for clays when my main thing is USPSA ( American IPSC ).
Has the same issue as the MXS at Perazzi I reckon. Which is why there was always a huge gap. Do you buy a new 694 or a second hand DT11 or DT10 for the same money? I'd go DT all day long...
Love your videos . Excellent detail. Currently have the 692 but wonder whether the to step up to this a DT12 as and when Beretta launch that if at all. Appreciate its a slightly different animal.
Just picked up a 32” adjustable comb version on the strength of this video, I bought it to be a second gun as I’m having a high tech built. After the first outing with it I’m very much enamoured with it, keep up the great work on here 👍👍
@@charlesdouglas2877 hi I did put them in as I always balance the gun on the centre of the pin, it moved well enough to shoot skeet. It’s all down to your personal preference and how your build is I think
Great review as always. I think I'm in the "prefer game gun looks" category. I like the stock, but dislike the angled line on the receiver. Too modern for me. I prefer a solid mid and top rib too.
I noticed you were just about to remove the ejectors and the scene changed. Are you able to remove/change the ejectors? I tried a few times on mine and noway could I do remove it... Please advise
Hi great channel, love it. I shoot a 690 black for clays, and an old 686s for the odd game day and on the pigeons/crows. I'm thinking of trading both in for a 694. Does anyone else use theirs for game days and in the field?
There's no cast on that gun as you say there is. Do they make a trap model ? The price is right up there isn't it ? For better value it would be better to look for a second hand 682 series with choke tubes. Hard to improve on them.
They do make a trap model but it won’t be here for a little while. There is indeed cast on this gun! It is a few quid, but it is nice, and punches above the price point for sure! Agreed that you can spend less on a gun, but sometimes having something nice and shiny new is worth the money. That and this gun is particularly special!
I picked up a Beretta 694 today and even though I have not been a Beretta fanboy like Johnny ( I do own multiple copies of each version except 1) I think that this 694 has converted me. I do watch all TGS content. The only version that I don't own is a 686 Silver Pigeon 3 field and now there are non available in the USA. I encourage everyone globally to fight for gun rights freedom and freedom in general! In the USA the 2nd amendment guarantees the first. Peace!
@@JohnSmith-dg3rd never Butt hurt but very free and will remain so because I am well armed. Ready for commies like you. I sent your name to Putin for further consideration. I am sure Putin will show you what BOHCA means.
@@JohnSmith-dg3rd you are definitely not free. You have this EU thing that makes laws you have follow. Feel FREE to continue as a sheep or goat you are FREE to pick from those two. My guess is that you are German
Hell, I don’t know. I think I would choose this over a 692 standard any day but the black is more special. I think the 692 black would be a touch more versatile but if you are going after more serious targets then thus 694 is a must. This stock on a black would be amazing in every way, but hopefully they will just produce this in a black format in a year or so
Very dependant on what you like in a gun. The gold e is a brilliant gun, but if you want something heavier and more filling in the hand - this is ideal! Alternatively, if you just want a really nice gun and something a bit newer - do it!
nice channel. have started training Olympic trap and feel that this suits me. intends to invest in a new rifle. Would a Beretta 694 sporting Adj fit into the trap? I want to win💁♂️ thanks in advance
