Thank you for making this video, the gulp minnow is literally my favorite bait of all time. I've caught trout (giant breeders), panfish, crappie, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass (lunkers), bluefish, striped bass, and fluke (doormats) on this bait. I like to use a 4in green chart minnow on a 1/4 ounce jighead, and rapidly bounce it across the bottom. Again thank you, this is my favorite bait :)
This bait is my best confidence bait. I've caught pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, and bluegill. Indeed it doesn't always catch 5lb fish, but if you want to have some fun, throw these. Love the vids!

yeah I've caught lots of nice'unz dropshotting these. not as good as a 4.5" robo but for an easier cheaper bait to find they work well. that little watermelon pearl kills it too. they also make this ugly like purple sparkle with a chartreuse bottom I've done very well on in dirtier water but the wat/pearl seems to work well in all clarities and even with a little chartreuse dye on the tails they work in stained water too. it's just a good easy bait to fish and I've caught many 3-5s on it, good vid mate!
I catch bluefish and striper and flounder with them in saltwater. just dont take off the plastic seal when u open just cut a X in it an pull them out. it acts as a gasket. will leak if removed.
Love your vids man, new viewer here! Do you buy the 3 inch minnows or 2 1/2? What size jigs? Do you recommend a certain brand? I usually fish for cats and excited to try bass fishing!
Hey I have to do a science report on what 3 baits are the best for the time of day with the conditions of blue sky and the baremetric pressure is mid 30s. I choose a spinner bait, senko, and a hollow body frog. The times of day is 8:30-930am, 9:30-10:30, and 10:30-11:30. Let me know your input on what baits work the best
Hi Brendan ! My name is Olek. I'm from Poland and I'm 13 . I love gulp alive or Lunker City Fin-s-fish baits, it's one of the best fishing lures for a perch and zander in my opinion., but many pepole in Poland say OMG it doesn't have an action, so they don't want to fish on them ;). I like to get any swimbait and put it in gulp alive... box???(I don't know how to name it in English ;)) I often rig it on a special triangle jig head that giwes it great falling action. Sorry for mystakes :) Best regards. In Polish it means "Pozdrawiam" ;)
i liked the ones you showed at the beg they look like no joke the fish that the bass chase here in my lake. a few days ago i went during the daytime and i literally had a bass in the middle of the day chase two small fish up to me and they had green backs just like that with whiter bellies. they got past some rock structure a couple feet out and the bass knew he lost that chase and took back off into the shallow weeds. in the middle of summer hottest time of day bass shore lining bait fish. go figure. he was decent to prob a 2#+. ive tried the grey ones with no luck but those colors on the first are pretty natural. tight lines.
Brendan, how do you get that Gulp smell off of your hands ???? Tried that bait once, and my hands smelled like it for three weeks, nothing would wash the smell off !!
I hear ya! It does work but i have used powerbait with similar success without the hassle. I have had Gulp bags break open and stink up my whole tackle bag and box. Not sure if it is worth the hassle and am almost ready to ditch the small supply I have.

are those minnows made out of that foam like material or more rubbery? I have some curly tail worms that are in the sent juice like that but they're made out of some foam like material and don't move very good
