the URGE to get this prebuild... not my luck to have the budget for it XD great reviewwwww as always, definitely awesome for 99usd haha, what a year to be filled with 75% budget keyboards now.. hope to see more of the budget alu on smaller mainstream layouts ig XD absolutely great once again!
Wow. This looks and sounds amazing. I was going to get the womier sk71 because I considered it the best budget gaming keyboard. How often does the company restock everything?? Also could someone look at the womier sk71 and give me some feedback and which one is better? Thanks 😊
Hey I also have a review on the SK71 and it's good too. Honestly the biggest difference is just the RGB and Layout. If you like RGB and prefer a 70% layout (you don't need the Function Row) get the Womier SK71. But if you like a more simple design and need the Function keys get the Rainy 75. But the hard part is the stock, as it's high in demand it seems like they can't really keep up with the stocks, so you might have to wait a few months to get it
by (lubed) in the sound test, you mean factory lubed right? you didn't lube them again? if its all stock out of the box it's an insane keyboard for the price! also, what plate is this? i read on their form that we might be able to buy different plates
The plate changes depending on the version you buy, the Standard version has a reflective purple and blue glass backplate, violet hmx switches I think, and the Pro version has a silver cracked looking backplate, with jwk wob switches, and double the battery quality of the Standard version at 7000 instead of 3500
In Chinese Mainland, this keyboard has been sold for many times, but it is difficult to rush to buy it. You must make an appointment. And I think 99 dollars is not good because I can get it for 70 dollars in Chinese Mainland
Maybe tbh, the situation now is that the Demand is too much to handle and they don't have enough supply. Maybe once they slowly start producing more its possible
Both are almost the same tbh, just depends which colour and features you want. If you want something muted CIDOO is great, but if you want something with more colour, Rainy75 has more choices. And of course if you want a knob/screen or none
Great review as always Sam. Love how the keyboard sounds, clack/marbly. My only gripe with it is how they implemented the screwless design which might cause some paint chippings/case scratch when being disassemble. Is it anod or ecoating?
Does anybody use this keyboard with other language setting then EN? I have the issue that I can't use the buttons "" because of the missing ALT GR button. For "@" i found out you can use CTRL+ALT and Q or was it "2"?
Does the aluminum have a grainy finish? Like almost like sandpaper? I recently got the AL71 from Yunzii and the finish on this board is making me wanna return it.
The finish on blue variant is smooth because it's e coated, maybe the anodised finish will have a bit of texture to it. You can check the description and choose the E coated variant for a smooth finish
Great Review :D, the power button being under the keycaps means I'll literally have to take off the key cap every time I'm not using the keyboard when using wireless or am I being silly here? xD
I'm sure it has a timeout like every other wireless keyboard. It's likely to just be for storage purposes or travelling so you don't put it in a bag and mash all the buttons. It should last for months on just standby if that's the case. Would be the first one I've seen that doesn't do standby at some point.
Only the base version in sliver and Black with no RGB have ISO PCB, but need to buy another plate that supports ISO layout, I already got mine but haven't had the time to change to ISO😂
