Not to be super critical, but I think its important to correct another error in this video if people are coming to see a review of this product with anticipation to buy. There IS NOT A RJ45 port on this laptop. When he says it @ 3:58, there isnt one (RJ45) even in the picture. The square port in the rear of the unit is the Noble Wedge Lock Slot.
I have the 5290 2 in 1 with top specs (i7 8th gen, 16 BG RAM, LTE, fingerprint scanner and so on) myself, but plan on getting the i5 version of this one for my wife, because she doesn't like the Surfice 2in1 option. What is also worth mentioning is the Dell Premium Business Support for the Latitude Business line. A true Next Business Day ON SITE Support with Accidental Damage Protection (I tested the Dell ADP 3 times in a coustomer-service-back-water-contry like Poland and it works just fine). For expample Lenovo didn't deliver in this matter with the Helix gen 1 and gen 2 (in Poland anyways), where Dell never let me down in 8 years (vs 4 years of stress with "the ThinkPad" where after WEEKS of unsucsessfull repair i got twice a refund that took over a month to process). All in all, Dell is in my opinion the ONLY seriouse business solution. Top quality and service... But for a top price - that is a good business investment for 3 years concidering. It's worth paying for a pieace of mind... ;-) (Although I must admint, I didn't check HP Elite line yet...) P.S. I'm looking forward to a followup on the Dell Latitude 7285 with the wireless CHARGING (wasn't avalibe in Europe at all - I've looked). Wireless chargin + WiGi = 0 cables on Yor desktop. Someting I wish for all of us aesthetics freaks out there ;-)
The touchscreen has 10-point detection, which can be useful when GAMING??? Also, the USB-C ports are not displayports, but Thunderbolt!! Even called it an XPS in the description... Dude, this is garbage.
I'm thinking about purchsing this laptop, but it looks like I will need top upgrade the battery when I get it. Is a battery upgrade expensive and how did you know what battery to get?
@@aliyawilson9652 got a battery from eBay, brand called cameronsino wasn't that expensive but sold mine since and not sure these laptops worth buying anymore, Ryzen 5 from generation 4 and newer is much faster than 8th gen Intel
@8peterp thanks for your help and reply. I know they're older but I need a sturdy 2 in 1 with all these specs in a price range under 500 dollars. It's impossible, especially with LTE or cellular service availability. The dell latitude 7390 has all of it except good battery life. I'll check and see if the Ryzen 5 mets my high expectations on a budget.
WhatGear yeah but since they discontinued i don't used any laptop actually i have been using sony products for 11 years 20 sony smartphone i grew up with sony.
