Thank you, was able to adapt this onto my expanded 2x2 once a clan built next to us, we (a trio) ended up holding them off and raiding their clan base of at least 8 people. This design was a life-saver.
Just a tip, keep the triangle jump ups twig, always. That way if someone raids you, the jump ups break and they have to either use ladders to get up and down your floors, or they are stuck.
I like this design. I cut out the middle floor (so 3rd floor is shooting floor) and incorporated a stability bunker over the dropdown in to core. Working well so far
@@donnyroufs551 No worries. So bunkers take advantage of the fact that walls are MUCH harder to destroy than doors are. So what a bunker does is use some game mechanics to create a wall that you can "open" and "close". It's a pretty easy way to make a base harder to raid because no matter what the raider will have to go through a wall at some point which you, presumably, have upgraded to metal or armoured. Jafarr has probably some of the most informative and helpful content for new players. Reksmore has some good base designs that don't get too crazy
basic, but the build cost is 40k≈ stone 7k≈ wood and 400≈HQ metal. The upkeep is 8k≈ stone 86≈ HQ metal 1k≈ metal frags. (ik there is no metal frags on build cost bc it depends on where you make your base metal or HQ metal or stone, furthermore in the upkeep numbers I am giving there is just metal doors that are costing these metal frags. also garage doors as well. the things you put extra does matter in the upkeep numbers.)

ngl i’m pretty new to rust, this’ll be my first big solo base. so far, today is wipe day and i’ve spent about 3ish hours building everything. i’ve only gotten to the shooting floor stage but that’s most of it so far. hopefully i don’t get offline raided, thanks for the easy-to-build base 👏👏

Really really wish there was audio explanantions to this video. As a newbie I'd like to know why some choices were made in certain circumstances. Like why were forges used as jump ups in some areas, but triangle floors placed on half walls were used in other places.
mainly because since he used a double door as the entrance. Like you cant jump onto a triangle jump up through a double door otherwise you would hit your head on the frame. And furnaces and good for extra smelting of ores
after you added fake and garage door enough base is min 50 rocket . I prefer add to front side 2 side exit left and right it is good for campers and runback home moments

embrasures to make it harder for people to shoot u, but u still have good visibility. the windows is just sum people do and they take it off when needed. I don't really bother with it tho💀
It's pretty easy to tell where almost any bases tc is, most bases keep their tc in the armored part of their base, it's usually exposed to the second layer where the armored is and so it doesn't really matter. With a 2x2 there is limited spots for it anyway.
Most players that would rocket raid this are either a clan which will figure it out no matter what, or a solo that is really good which could tell on anythingZ
You only have to put on the windows when you get off the server, and take them off when you get on, they act as more protection for your base costing 10 more satchels for a reinforced window
@@autisticchicken7856 No, but since you have build priv you can take the windows off with a hammer when you need to access the other side. It's sort of like a bunker
ay bro type in on yt, love shack by templetabs, it is my solo base when Im not feeling the farming. 20-23 rockets to tc and has 16 boxes, my main base is mini igloo by ceeg.
@@carlosagudelo1509 peaks are awful, loot is all in 1 place, there is no actual way to have a good compound, roof is dogshit. There is simply no reason to make this unless you go back in time 10 years when noone knew how to build
A better base then you will ever see stop hating stop thinking about yourself you know how much time this could have took think about someone else for once
