Not a big deal, though. It is a guitar with an octave pedal... which the first 4 strings of a guitar and bass are tuned exactly the same... only the bass is an octave lower. Lots of guitarists (myself included) use an octave pedal once in awhile. I use one that plays the principle, a minor or Major 3rd higher, and an octave lower... it creates an entire 3 part harmony with the pluck of a single string.

Awesome reaction Amauri. This is an abandoned department store in the Oviedo Mall in Orlando Florida where Pattycake Productions is located. All the graffiti and vandalism is real. They actually had to cover some of it. Geoff felt this was perfect for the song and the theme. There was no rehearsal before hand like they usually do. Kind of a rehearse as you go type deal 😂. They did a fantastic job.
I was one of those who had to go out and check it out. I had heard it before but it really didn’t resonate with me. They took the very best of that piece of music and expanded on it. As much as I really enjoy it, it must be so much better for you since you love the original. Really really enjoyed your reaction.
If this song doesn't make you wanna go out and fight someone while listening to it then what the heck! Every time I hear this song I wanna fight someone or run around like a crazy person, hence why I listen to it when I'm lifting haha
The voice is absolutely an instrument - and one that requires a lot of care and maintenance. :) I did not particularly like the original song, but this knocked me out of the park. Have listened to it more than two dozen times by now. You have a very nice and chill dog, by the way. 😊
All five of them were outstanding! VP just keeps pushing the limits by taking songs that shouldn't work as a cappella and then killing them. Gotta give a shout out to Layne here lately--he's really REALLY going off the chain.
Unlike you I'm not a big fan of the original but this version is great. The graffiti is just random graffiti in the abandoned store they filmed this in.
