Thanks to Welcome To The GrowTent for talking with me in this episode! Who would you like to see on an upcoming episode? Welcome To The GrowTent channel-> bit.ly/2YNw3be Patreon saw this video first-> bit.ly/2ptXkhI
I'd like to see more organic living soil conversations. And Earth Boxes/ wicking beds. I think they'd be great for anyone but especially newer growers struggling with watering. As far as guests go, Clackamus Coot would be great. Anyone can learn from him. Great episode, thanks!!
This was an outstanding podcast. I love how he spoke about the stress of being a newbie...I went through the INTERNET STRESSES watching EVERY VIDEO ABOUT THE PLANT. Thank God for you guys giving solid info...not chasing weight...just living the plant. It helps me get up everyday.
Yeah. I started my first grow after 14 years, I think??? I started watching EVERYONE, but now I only watch hemp/weed in a pot, Mr grow it, and welcome to the grow tent for my grow questions. I watch more RU-vidrs than that but those three are my go to source for information. It really feels like I’ve gotten a good quality growing education!
A+! My favorite guest so far. The chill approach is perfect for something we're naturally gonna become obsessed with. These plants really are on a delay that teach you to think into the future and relax.
It would be dope if CLTV Mr Canuck and Mr grow at all got together and did a video live chat smoking what they love discussing what they love and maybe even going over some of their earliest epic failures when they started growing that would be the s***🔥👍🔥
@@kimpozo3514 The group of content creators together would be awesome, throw pigeons in there as well with the DGC just a live sesh with all the content creators, the community loves.
Won't happen.. Mr. Canuck is the best RU-vid Grower and Entertainer. 2nd is Seed To Harvest as far as Grower talent and entertainment. 3rd is everyone else... Cannabis WORLD IS READY FOR A FEW NEW CHANNEL GREAT EDITED VIDEOS!
This might be the first time I've actually seen WTTGT's face. Knew it was him as soon as he spoke. So cool to get the guys I subscribe collaborating. I think you guys have shaved at least 5 years off of my learning time and hundreds of dollars not waiting my money. Thank you for the selfless passing of knowledge!
Big respect to this guy ,it was very helpful the conversation between you guys, because im that guy when im growing , i say “hi to plant and im waiting right there for plant to say hi back “ im so in to them so many time i destroy them by trying to controll every second of them .
Seems chill only thing I'd disagree with is fully drying organic soil like he described, doesn't seem good for the microbiology of the soil. Obviously we want it to dry out before watering again for pest control and preventing root rot etc but not leave it sitting dry for extended time periods even if the plant would be fine the microbiology of the soil wouldn't
I'm not an expert nor a beginner but I have to say this is by far the best advice for beginners really wish I had you guys around when I first started... Stay lifted bless💯💪
I didn't know about wttgt. But I can relate to the first stuff he said. And I like what he's saying. So I paused the video and subbed. And I subbed to this channel too. Thanks for the info, it will help anyone who grows plants, no matter what kind. Good stuff!
This is exactly what I needed to hear. Keep it simple. Relax. Give em time to grow. B/c I'm in week 1 of seedings, and started worrying wen they all aren't growing at the same pace and height. But after watching this, my mind is back at ease. I'm okay. Just need to relax. Let the plant do what plants do, grow beautifully.
I agree, I used to chase maximum yield but now it’s about quality and terpenes, it’s all for me, you smoke heaps less when’s it’s quality and the entourage effect is real.
Thank you Mr. Grow It, I've been watching WTTGT for a while and that is one of the most focused talks I've listened to. As a new grower i can't tell you how much you both have helped in my grows. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Just have to say, i am a beginner and i LOVE these videos... The amount of knowledge in each is so helpful... I listen to these everyday walking the dog and whenever i can at work. Ive watched all a few times each now and keep hearing new things and understanding a little bit more each time. Thank you so much for the content and look forward to new videos ✌
This is a GREAT episode. i'm 5 weeks into my first grow, and have done a ton of reading and watching both before, and now, and will continue to do so. the two people I feel like who are REALLY pulling me through this first grow experience are GT and Mr Grow It. Y'all are both amazing.
Thanks for the video. After years and years of trial and error with many ups and downs I stumbled across WTTGT who changed everything for me. Made things so simple and easy. After switching to his methods I’ve had the best indoor grows in many years. We are all so used to being blasted with so many products and that more is better. He showed me this is just not true and is all marketing BS. You guys both rock. Much love.
Yup, it can be overwhelming for new growers seeing shelves packed with the fanciest marketing hype and claims. I know I’ve mellowed out what I use now, it’s so easy to get caught up in all the hype of what your plants need.
Bottle nutes are useless in long run. U can just use water, homemade wormbin compost, worms, bugs and thats about it inside. U can make it how ever u want. It will grow with no food regardless
It's like my third time watch this particular video. I'm alot like this guy. My brain is a freight train rolling fast. I just had to cut down what I thought was girls but they where boys. I was 45 days in and felt that even though I failed I still won. I low stress trained, I did everything tou guys said and it was going good. Im staring another round of seeds tonight. We will be trying your soaking in water then paper towels. Wish me luck. Love your videos
Working on my first grow and I stumbled on ur channel 3 months ago. So far everything is going great and I owe alot of it to u my friend. Keep it up man!!
A great way to get rid of fungus gnats is get a couple cups of apple cider vinegar in two separate containers and stir up some soap with them. The fungus gnats will fly in, get stuck and drown.
That first little intro 💚 I needed that, I'm overwhelming myself. You have no idea on how much I appreciate these videos, thank you for putting the time in so I can learn with out the anxiety of it.
I just finished his strain of those PFG’s and I have to say I’m impressed no doubt! I’m no jock stomper but been around and each plant was straight to the T and held the same genetics pretty much, had one at 45” inches tall but other then that they was solid as can be! Here we are a year later and you can’t even find any bird seed each location is completely sold out etc!! Lol go figure I should have took a cut huh! Anyhow this GT old scoo Rick flair dude is the real deal and so our his strains! Best of luck peace n love always
I just ran a run that was specifically designed for failure with crap soil, different lights, shock all the time, drowning, starving, and results in end wasn't huge but quality was bomb. Now i pin point all I need to know and this video confirms my new life
Another good 👍 show. Master the basics guys !! I been growing for almost 7 years now.. I still listen to basics and still try to hear how everybody grows, then I integrate a little bit of all into my grow methods.. thx guys
My two favourite grow channels in one video! Awesome! You guys have gotten me thru my first grow... well almost! I’m on week 2 of flower & just started my next little babies. Thanks for all the great advice, you guys rock!
Really enjoyed the positive vibes here. Been growing for a few years and still have much to learn. Like he says, Just relax, its gonna be fine... KIS always! Thank you!🌞
Thanks man. I needed to hear that. I'm calming down. Lol. I am also ADHD and bipolar type 1 which is rapid cycle in my highs and lows. I'm growing for the same reason. Constant quality. One love
Would love another sit down with WTTGT. As a fairly new gardener, I love his common sense hands off and keep it simple approach. It's a relief to know you don't really need to micro manage.
I’ve started growing in Octopots now which has really changed things, I haven’t had any bug problems which I’m giving credit to the fact that I no longer top water ever, which is keeping that top layer of soil dry. I also no longer have to ever worry about over or under watering as the plants just take up exactly what they needs from the roots in the reservoir as well as the media wicking up the perfect amount of water. And last but not least I’m now using half the amount of nutrients or less than when I was top watering soil. Simplicity is one of the best things you can teach new growers, I’ve got a couple friends that have just started growing with so many questions, and what’s nice is that I get to take my knowledge and help them skip some of the mistakes of how to start out and what to not waste money on and especially give them advice of where their money should go so they are setup properly and aren’t having to upgrade stuff after finding out the expensive way that they shouldn’t have cheap’d out on certain things. Sorry for rambling on but I vaped a bag of White Widow on my Sunday morning and watched this great episode lol. Cheers 🇨🇦
This is great! Love watching and listening both of you guys. Thanks for taking the time to put this content out. Especially for new growers. It helps, a ton. I really appreciate it.
Loved this video very informative!! I’m on my second grow it’s going much better this round I’m no longer over watering I’m not being a helicopter grower lol giving them to much love on your first grow is a real thing he’s right relax and trust the process!!
WTTGT was the first RU-vidr to tangibly explain how to water. "Don't overwater" is the best anyone explained it before. "Finger bang the soil down to the first knuckle" is the WORST and most common explanation. Grow Tent said fill a spare pot with soil and set it next to the crop. Compare the weight of the plant to the weight of the dry pot, and don't water until they're really close. Grow Tent was also the first RU-vidr to mention a 25-50-75-100% progressive light schedule. Before WTTGT I was under the impression that flipping to flower at 1k PAR was a good thing. Using WTTGT's recipe took me from killing plants in week 5 to curing bud in 1 grow. His 43 minute video on everything you need to know from germination to curing is unquestionably the BEST how-to for anyone who isn't winning.💯
That's one of the most important things to learn when growing anything. Outdoor veggie gardening, bonsai, weed, whatever. Lesson 1 is watering, not too much and not too little.
I love this dude. Immediately dropped a sub. Can relate to him, i have ADHD aswell and took ritalin for 10 years straight. The problem is that people don't understand it is not psychological. It is neurological.
Im worried I have ADHD and thats why I feel misunderstood but Cannibis has helped me so much with sleep, Anxiety and even helping me Eat since stress has got me hardly eatting, Its Sad this gets such a bad rep when it helps so many of us when Mental issues we deal with on a daily basis that nobody understands.
Ha! For the first time in 40 years of internet use, I listened to your ad about Happy Hydro and being from Western NY will go with them...thanks for your channel and more hydro!
I think its cool WTTGT says his target demo is beginners...ive been growing since the 80's and enjoy his contenr, and that of Mr Grow It. And ive yet to, nor will i ever "yell" at either. Lol. Good to see this show again
Thank you guys for the talk . I really needed this knowledge. I've been spending hours in there just looking at the plants and they're only like 2 weeks in. humidity has been crazy lately cuz of the monsoons here in north Central az (Prescott) . I have ADHD and anxiety and I'm a first time grower . Great talk thank you
It sucks not seeing ADHD/Anxiety talked about more in regards to the number of problems cannabis treats. It does wonders at slowing and calming my mind.
Thanks for the video. Between you, CLTV and Pigeons420 in less than a year of growing I've gone from tiny Christmas tree looking plants with deficiencies to lush green canopies, swollen buds and decent smoke. Keep up the good work!
Love this channel....... currently running a 4x4 rn........go sabres......go bills ... can't wait for this wny winter too end and get the outdoor games begin
Yes Slim tower fans are a must in grow tents. I use a Honeywell black tower fan. Its suoer slim and its pedestal only takes up bout a 7 inch space. I use plastic pots transplanting multiple times starting with root riot plugs and or suoer sized 50mm jiffy pellets. Fabric pots for flower. 50/50 blend of FFHF and FFOF with additional perlite and castings and a lil bit of bonemeal. 2 inch pots with rapid root plugs Solo cups 1 gallons nursery pots 3 gallon nursery pots 5-7 gallon fabric pots for flower. Useing nursery pots will eliminate any stress whatsoever. Recharge...Recharge....RECHARGE Stuff is the best. Tip...store your Recharge in a glass Mason jar in the refrigerator door. Cuz those yellow bags are a pain in the ass and nearly impossible to close. Apera instruments PH and PPM meters are the truth.
I'm super grateful for your videos Mr. Grow it and really grateful for grow tents videos, advice and feedback, in a way his videos have helped mentor me through my first grow, week 6 of flower and its looking good :D keep up the great work guys :)
I’m the same , I’ve always grown this way. It still blows my mind that people act like this is ground breaking news. I guess people really are confused about such basic stuff.
Great guest. Which I watched his content when I started growing. Beside over thinking everthing it is a hobby so I wanted to see and touch them as much as posible.
thank you for reemphasize simplistically when beginning. Less is more. The girl knows how to grow, if we let her show..thank you both for the beginnings platform. I learned a lot, and I am on the right track.
Great episode! I'm currently awaiting my Electric Skies for my very first grow, and I feel like watching/listening to other experienced growers TOO MUCH, can stress me out too. I've done a lot of research to grow organic, and I'm extremely excited about the techniques I "plan to" implement, and to me that's what's important. I'm sure I'll make mistakes along the way, and I'll never be afraid to ask for help, but I do feel that the KISS method is best to learn about anything/everything!
Ayeee I was just watching you guys love the 2 videos I watched very informational and good tips on starting grows for people like me really appreciate it!!! Keep up the good work
This was just great! both guys are absolutely the pinnacle gold standard of indoor advice/ guidance. Study these 2 very carefully and you will succeed.
Dude, fabulous interview. You asked all the right questions at the right time. 👌 also agree with the make it easy. The less I do, the more my plants do.
finally you got GT on. . love his simplicity and less steess. I have recalculated my grow too GT's way and i have cut my bills /money in half and i dont stress out any more, happy growing. PEACE
been watching these videos today i like the info and would like to say to other new inside growers watching this listen learn and just keep it simple like hes saying. yesturday i got a 6inch fan for my 2x2x55 and overnight as its blowing on the seedlings the soil really dried out so now i know me not checking them for 9 hours is to long right now later on in pots i am not sure yet either but anyways i have grown for 30+ years outside and this is making me feel like i have never done this before since i am now god with my light lol
Also this video shows me that my teacher is super ready for the success, GT you carried it like a G in this interview ♥️♥️♥️ man I appreciate you guys this community really is awesome 💯🔁🔁🔁🔁
