bought the Devialet Gemini 2 yesterday and the sound quality is the same lol... for 400€ but the comfort is shit tested so much earbuds now and the Elite 75T is still at the top
@@navneetsingh3772hey planning on making the same jump. Was it a big jump in quality in in your opinion? Mostly using it for work voice conferencing and casual listening
When was the last time you actually needed an firmware update for your earbuds?! As long as the app and base features work fine there is no need for that. Pretty sure they will support them for 3-6 months at minimum which should fix all major things
Typically when they discontinue they will support for a short period before cutting out support entirely, I have had several Jabra earbuds in the past and only got like 1 firmware update in the life of the earbuds anyway
@@kl4224 Well them releasing a new pair of earbuds and discontinuing them immediately is not a great business practice either. Just buy something else if you don't like the price.
I have the Gen 1 Elite 10's, and absolutely love them. But from a sound perspective, I do prefer the Sony XM5's. But while I'm at work, shifting from work phone to personal phone on a dime, the Elite 10s are superior. Glad to own both, but I'm glad Jabra released a great product before ending the line.
How important are continuous updates for earbuds? I would think if the bugs have been worked out then updates shouldn't be necessary. Unless there is a security flaw?
almost every piece of software written these days are so complex that finding bugs is less likely, and more of a certainty. - software updates for a time can help mitigate these and reduce the severity of bugs as users put collectively thousands of hours of use into discovering said bugs.
I've been using 4 85t jabra earbuds for 3 years, one by one. The last one died yesterday. Annoying me that only right units are dead, all left units are healthy still. Well, but I loved their sound quality, ANC and most of all multi paring. I consider elite 10 as my next ear bud.
they should look similar, it's the exact same hardware. All Jabra did for this and the Active 8 gen2 was update the firmware. But they claim an over the air firmware update is not possible and they can only do it adding a new circuit board.
My Elite 7 pro's started having problems and I just bought these when trying replace mine in warranty but Jabra never got back to me so it ended up out by a few weeks when I was finally able to go to the retail store instead where I bought them but was able to get a deal with these. Picked them up for $199 AUD, that's $133 USD so not a bad price. However they don't fit in my ears very well at all and if I shake my head they fall out very easily and this is with all the silicone sizes tested. I like to run and have not tested them while running but hopefully they're able to stay in when I do...
Thank god there is finally an alternative to the Bose ones, i have had 7 pair of Bose earbuds which all broke (the last pair broke today). I *_NEVER_* want any Bose product ever again. *EDIT:* Nevermind, these earbuds are so much worse than the bose earbuds that i don't even consider them a competitor, the fitment in the ear is worse, they are less comfortable, the active noise cancelling is not even half as good, the sound quality is significantly worse, and the spacial audio does not even get close to the bose earbuds. I have honestly never been as disappointed by the performance of a product as i have been with these, not because they are bad, they aren't bad, but when watching this review my expectations were something comparable to the bose quiet comfort earbuds, which these are not, even though the price is practically identical, but at least these don't break if you look at them in the wrong way I'm gonna be angry for a couple hours now about how bose can be capable enough to make a product that outperforms everything else, yet be completely incapable of making a product that doesn't break if you look at it incorrectly
Oh my God, thank you. I have had my suspicions about the ANC percormance of the Jabra 10's Gen 2 compared to the Bose. I really hope Bose makes erabuds with a Case and a METALL HINGE (is that too much to ask for? Why is Apple nearly the only one doing this?!). And pls.give me speeze controlls, nobody likes accidental Commands.
I really wonder how you do your tests to come to the conclusion that these Jabras are better than the Bose and Airpod Pro 2 when it comes to ANC, this is completely false in reality.
Bear in mind that these are the upgraded earbuds of generation 1, so the potential for it to be better than bose and airpods Pro 2 is very high, in my opinion. Even the first generations should definitely be able to compete with them and the best, even in the area of ANC.
