so nice to see your face, but glad you’ve been looking after yourself. thanks for the note about BLUE SISTERS - this definitely has me more intrigued too ❤
so glad to see you back on my feed hannah!!!! you've been very missed but as others have said there's never any pressure to post, it's just a nice surprise when you do
Missed your videos and this couldn’t have come at a better time, you always give the best recommendations and my summer book wishlist just expanded drastically
It’s so good to see your beautiful face, and also completely understand taking a break for health, life, etc. I got In Ordinary Time after hearing you review it, and I need to get to that soon! My favorite book since I did my mid year video has been Maame by Jessica George. I’m a little behind the hype of it, but the caregiving aspects really hit home for me as I was my mom’s caregiver for 5 yrs until her death.
So good to see a new video from you and have lots of books to add to my wish list. Disability Intimacy was published in the UK at the end of April, so hopefully you can get hold of it soon.
So glad you posted a video! I've read Blue Sisters on audio, it is on everand! I had to get used to the narrator a bit, but really loved the book. I haven't read Cleo&Frank but heard this one was really different. I loooved it!
Thrilled to see this video pop up in my feed! And you’ve given me loads of new recommendations to check out 🫶 Definitely excited for the Sally Rooney hype ❤
welcome back kween!!! a lot of these flew under my radar so thanks for shouting them out!!! i also did NOT like Green Dot... completely insufferable and unfunny to moi 😭
Best book read in 2023 Deluge by Stephen Markley Climate fiction/ thriller. It is a big book. I rely heavily on audiobooks. The audio has a multi voice cast.
I’m only watching this at the end of August ( new subscriber). I too loved Greta & Valdin. If you like family drama can I recommend Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano Dinner At The Homesick Restaurant by Ann Tyler The Gathering by Ann Enright All of Elizabeth Strout Tom Lake by Ann Patchett Crow Lake by Mary Lawson Little Monsters by Adrienne Brodeur All That’s Left Unsaid by Tracey Chein
I’m currently about half way through gender theory and I’ve really been enjoying it. I am famously not a Sal Roon stan but the Intermezzo hype is getting to me….
