Lyric woman was my introduction into Amouage and I got an older lady and fecal note from it at first...I hated it at first, but I gave it another shot and I was blown away by how different my impression was. I still don't think I'll re-purchase it once it's done, but it is beautiful.
I totally agree with Opus IX. My favorite thing about Amouage is the structure and compositional dexterity they exhibit and Opus IX hits it out of the park in that regard. Highpoint is the civet here, which the most gorgeous civet note one can imagine.
I love the Garden Collection. Blossom Love reminds me of Delina, which is also an expensive “pink perfume.” The fragrance is in the same wheelhouse and very crowd pleasing.
I love Amouage. Even when I don’t like a fragrance of theirs I can still appreciate them (except the Secret Garden Collection...I agree those should cost much less). My favorite is Beloved Woman. Epic Woman is my husband’s favorite of my entire collection. Amouage has so many amazing fragrances. I wanted Interlude Woman for the bottle...if I ever find a partial for a good price I will get it lol. Great video! 😘
Agreed about the Secret Garden Collection, they all smell like the generic department store perfume counter offerings. Not bad or anything but to me these are their "Coors Light", crowd-pleaser offerings. Is there any way for me to say it without sounding like a snob?

The blossom love smells like Miss Dior absolutely blooming but on steroids, I love it and pink is my favorite color🤗 but at the same time I do understand where you're coming from
I own Gold woman (to me it gives Chanel No5 Parfum vibes to start then gets interesting) - which I bought blind. Loving it. I have on my wish list Opus I, III, V, VI and IX. Got small decants of Honour, Blossom Love and Love Tuberose. All are “pleasant” bordering on pedestrian but no hate there. I’m getting decants this month of Epic, Lilac Love, Lyric Man…. In truth grabbing the samples I can to try. Hard to find in NZ and with CVD we are still dealing with mass infections mid 2022 so avoiding in store huffing. 😁. Love your work ❤️
I’ve been meaning to ask you for your opinion or to do a review on which you think are the most well blended, complex perfumes. I’m thinking about ones where it is difficult to pick out notes. Like the way my perfume drawer smells when I open it - everything all combined all at once. Or if the story is true, like Diptyque has 34 Boulevard St. Germain - apparently the idea was for it to smell like the Diptyque boutique. When I think of these perfumes, I also think of opulence, sexiness, and rich ladies. You mentioned some of these things, so I had to ask! Obviously something from Amouage will be included, as well as Chanel Coromandel ;)
Opus IX was my favourite too till...I felt in love with Opus XI. So, I have the last one / even though sometimes I don't like it/ and it just brings me into another world. Very different, heavy, potent , beautiful perfume.
I got a sample of Myths woman. I actually am very intrigued by it and grew to love it. I went and got a large bottle. I’m mad that I mistakenly bought the small bottle of Fate. I knew the price was too good. I need to get another bottle now. I gotta be more careful and watch the mil size. I guess I’ll keep this lil 1.7ml in my purse. I love Fate, I am wearing it now on my right arm and on my left Papillon Salome. I have been obsessed with Papillon. I ordered all 6 perfumes . I love discovering new perfume houses.
Two requests here. Would you please review Amouage Portrayal for women, and Chanel's Les Exclusifs Gardenia? Oh, I own Epic and Memoir. They make me feel like pure glamour.
Absolutely adore Amouage Honour. Though there are a lot of reviews mentioning its lack of longevity, I don't care...I actually like it close to my skin since I wear it for me!
First time I sprayed the epic woman from the store n drove home, I felt that somehow the whiff of it kind remind me of.. Portrait of a Lady from frederic malle, and went to the store later to purchase full bottle of it. Do you find it to have a remeniscence of poal?

I like both Bracken Woman and Myths Woman. It's not for everyone but after testing it for a while. It grew on me. Memoir woman I tried it and somehow the drydown smells a bit sour on me.
Have you tried Fate woman? I think the bottle is making me irrational and its so beautiful I just want to impulse buy it but those Amouage prices tho 😥
I actually like love Tuberose, I bought a bottle….lol. It’s blossom love I hated coz it’s sooo nasty sweet, way too gourmand and typical of the other perfumes out there. Plus I got Love Tuberose for about $100 so I couldn’t resist.
Dia❤️ ( Love of My Life - aleays and 4ever . Fits me always - all year round and gies with everything , giving me the " rich elegant lady " geeling. Nothing else smells like Dia .It was love from the first sniff. I can give up all my collection ( 😱😢), but I have to keep this one . it's My :" which I'll take with me to the lonely island 😉" scent . Sunshine - like , but not love 🤗 P.S. 😂😂 Me too !- always panic when I see that the bottles are like 20 % used . Very interested in trying Amouage! Which bottle would you recommend for a younger woman (I'm in my early 20's) I've been reading a lot of reviews and Amouage seems to have a lot of mature smelling scents. Is there one that has a more youthful vibe?
Most definitely Lilac love . It’s a beautiful lilac and chocolate . It was my first Amouage. You’ll love it. I also bought Lyric too but that one is not for you. I think all of the Amouage are either too weird or just bad, some are for the older ppl, I found Lilac love to be the youngest one.
It doesnt have kiwi. That's a wrong information in Fragrantica. The Amouage web site doesn't put it on the list of "ingredients". Anda that's why many of us don't smell kiwi. I want to know who invented that! Haha
I so agree about Love Tuberose, I was disappointed with how much sugary dessert it has in it. Almost smells like cotton candy grapes in the opening. I would have been interested in a green whipped cream tuberose, like unsweetened whip cream! But the way it is , it isn’t for me at all. And Love blossom smells so bad & strong of alcohol to me, even on my jacket the next day it’s that sharp cherry alcohol smell… 3 out of 4 of the Secret garden collection smell hairspray /alcohol repulsive to my nose. They don’t even smell like flowers to me… it’s so disappointing that this is their garden /floral specific line. Thankfully they already nailed a white floral fragrance, Honour is far far far superior for a beautiful floral. For me.

I never smelled the amouage but i want one, base on what i wearing ( Good Girl, Mugler Alien, Mon Paris, Tom Ford Metallique...) What do you think i will like in amouage family? I tried Bond 9 arabian perfums and I dont like it. But i like Bond 9 New York Night. Thank you
I would maybe try out their secret garden line first. they are more approachable. But if you like florals I would try...Lyric, Dia and Honour, also..Reflection. (the woman ones)
I enjoy Honour Woman and Beach Hut Woman. I didn't fancy Myth Woman (can't explain! Too strong in a bad way, smells like pee to me) &Bracken Woman (headache, smells like detergent). Fortunately I sampled them first.
Yeah sure, so it's a white flower which are always the most powerful and heady flowers. Tuberoses smell a bit like if you dripped jasmine into butter, they also have a slight eucalyptus smell, and are very creamy. Difficult to describe if you've never smelled it but they are BEAUTIFUL!
