My favorite thing is absolutely Andor Season 1 and then Rogue One ironically enough for a movie and tv show. Andor Season 1 is my favorite single season of Star Wars television ever, I've watched it 3 times now. Rogue One is just fantastic! So entertaining and I could rewatch it all day. Least favorite is maybe either Obi-Wan or Mando Season 3. Only because of the fact that I don't remember as much from them. I think they are both just fine, not good or bad but something was definitely missing from them. For the most part I've liked a lot of what has been put out for television. I can't wait for Bad Batch to end with Season 3 and to get more Tales of the Jedi this year along with the new live action shows too.

I love Eebels! I agree with you about Mando. Probably my favorite project of the Disney era. And I agree about s3. That isn’t to say it didn’t have problems because it absolutely did. Ep3 still feels out of place and ep6 definitely had some cringe moments, but the plot threads from those episodes either came back later in Ahsoka or J’m sure will come up again in later projecgs. But every time K see reactions from s3 I’m reminded of how much there was to like about it and how many awesome moments there were. It doesn’t top s2 of course, but still. So yeah Mando is my favorite, but Andor is objectively the best. Seriously it’s not fair how good it is. Least favorite I’m not sure. I never watched Resistance or Young Jedi Adventures beyond the shorts. But maybe one of those or the sequels.

If I rank my favorite live action shows it would be this: 1) Mandalorian: this is what got me into real a real SW fan. I am a huge fan of western movies, so I loved the mood. Mando is an obvious reference to The Man with no name. I thought ''Baby Yoda'' would be an annoying sidekick made for toys, but far from it. Overall a mix of good writing, great characters, and almost always great action. I liked season 3 less though. 2) Andor: this one surprised me the most. When I saw a promo poster featuring Mando, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan and Andor together, I thought Andor was out of place and would be a weak link. Quite the contrary. The writing, especially for dialogues, is phenomenal. It's a real plunge into the peak Empire era. I understand why some people don't like it, as it is not adventure-oriented and does not feature the Force, but I loved it. It is very slow but has great payoffs. 3) Book of Boba Fett: pretty uneven, and they managed to get Mando in this instead of focusing on Boba (even though both Mando episodes were the best), but I loved the Tusken background. The last episode had too many deus ex machina moments though. My favorite scene is Cad Bane's entrance in a western standoff. This is what finally got me to watch Clone Wars to learn more about the characters. 4) Ahsoka: decent action, ok writing, acting no problem. But I am not a Rebels fan, I didn't like Ezra or Kanan, so I didn't care much about what was happening. Ezra's actor here was fine, the character was fine, but the real standouts for me were Thrawn (I liked him more than in Rebels), Baylan Skoll (RIP Ray), and Anakin. 5) Obi-Wan: very up and down. Some scenes like the last fight were great, but some others were horrendous, and the plot was very convoluted.

I think my favorite Star Wars projects during the Disney era is Andor, Rogue One, Mandalorian, Bad Batch, Rebels, Ahsoka, Kenobi and Visions. When it comes to least favorite projects it would be Rise of Skywalker and Book of Boba Fett. Never watch Resistance and don’t plan to, my choice lol. I liked Mando season 3 more than others. Even though I'm sure this is "controversial" amongst Star Wars fans, my personal favorite thing is the The Sequel Trilogy/Force Awakens. If it wasn't for Force Awakens I don't think I would be as big of a fan of Star Wars as I am now. I mean I went from just seeing some of the movies in passing and a Clone Wars episode here and there and being barley a fan to watching all of the OT and PT in 2015 and being such a huge fan coming out of Force Awakens. So much so that I went to Star Wars celebration with my Dad in 2017 for my birthday! As much as people rag on that trilogy online I still think it's my personal favorite Star Wars thing, with Force Awakens probably being the main thing.

It's interesting because like how Eric highlights the finale of Kenobi, there are some shows where even if I maybe didn't like the show as a whole (like Book of Boba Fett and Mando S3) or I did but I didn't love-love it (like Kenobi and Ahsoka), it still had individual episodes that stand out as excellent and I wish the whole franchise could be consistently as good as them. My biases will come into play here but those episodes for me would include the second episode of the Book of Boba Fett, the Mayfield episode Mandalorian Season 2, the Crosshair and Mayday episode of The Bad Batch as well as the Season 2 finale, the Clone Wars Siege of Mandalore arc, the Anakin episode of Ahsoka, the Kenobi finale same as Eric and pretty much every second or third episode of Andor, with all its other episodes not far behind.

In my opinion, the latest season of Mandalorian wasn’t that good. There were things I enjoyed but it just never came together properly. Like season 2 ends in such an interesting place that it feels like we were cheated out of a more interesting 3rd season. Like them undoing that ending in the Boba Fett show was a really dumb move. I hate that The Mandalorian is suffering from the wider issues that Star Wars is facing so hopefully they course correct soon.

I've not seen Resistance or Young Jedi Adventures (resistance I plan on watching at some point but who knows when), so I'd say my least favourite is the sequel trilogy, which I don't hate but don't really like either. There are bits I like and bits I don't, so the overall result is very middling for me. My favourite is probably either Rebels or Andor, both of which are masterworks - the former being a masterclass in traditional Star Wars content, and the latter a transformative new take on the franchise.

Objectively speaking, Andor is the best but as for my personal favorite of anything Disney Star Wars, if it wasn't for The Mandalorian, I wouldn't be into Star Wars at all. It's classic Star Wars and allowed me to get into the story without necessarily forcing me to watch anything prior to Season 1 - that said, it expanded my interest unlike anything else. While Andor was great, there is only two standout moments for me the entire season so it unfortunately its not my favorite show as a collective. My personal ranking is 1) The Mandalorian, 2) Ahsoka 3) Rebels, 4) Andor 5) Obi Wan Kenobi. Worse: The Rise of Skywalker - they didn't know what to do with that storyline and in the end, highly disappointing.

Least Favourite: Sadly Kenobi (I love Obi Wan, Vader and Leia and Leias actress was amazing. The last episode had some really emotional stuff that was handled beautifully, but there was so much stupid stuff in there. And it looked really shitty a lot of the times, was produced very badly imo...i always remember some of the person-starship ratio, for example Vader when he pulls the ship down or the Rebel hoth thingy at the base, the sizes are just so off) -- I have to be fair tho, Kenobi really disappointed me, because I was so excited, it was supposed to be the return of one the best characters ever, suprisingly even two with Hayden, but they made such a mess of it and im still so disappointed, Book of Boba Fett (except the Luke and Mando episodes, especially the Luke episode might be one of the best star wars content ever, because we finally saw our true Luke, Jedi master luke, the Luke we got denied by the trainwreck that was Last Jedi), everything with Boba just didnt sit right with me...they made Boba into something he clearly never was supposed to be, but to give them credit, it looked really great) Favourite: Andor, Rogue One and Mando (Mando Season 1 and 2 was amazing, 3 was ok but nothing special), Rebels (especially from season 2 till the end)

One of the reasons that no one likes season 3 is because you have to watch The Book of Boba Fett to understand why Grogu returned? It’s pretty much season 2.5 and no one asked for a Boba Fett spinoff. The good things that happen in this spinoff doesn’t even reflect on the main protagonist of his own series. “The Book of Boba Fett (featuring Mando)”

Sometimes I just think, they just like everything. There's really never anything they dislike or hate, it can get annoying and suffocating sometimes. Like about how much they're just happy about it. I know they do mention the flaws, and stuff about the show, and that they just wave it off as something that's just part of the show, they aren't they're intended audience, or it's the audience fault for missing some things. Like they are just tip toeing around it, so not to prevent any future sponsors, or stay on people good side. It's only what I think at least.
@swag31556
@swag31556 8 месяцев назад
They do avoid talking about their dislikes a lot, probably for the reasons you mentioned and it does get annoying, but you can definitely tell what they really thought of something when its brought up in other reactions. Example would be season 8 of GOT, in their final reaction to it Eric made sure to say that he didn't know if it was actually bad or if he just "needed to watch it again to really understand what it [the writers] was trying to do" (or something along those lines) but if you've watched them enough since then Eric has made clear on numerous occasions that he did not enjoy it/thinks it could have been done much better and the others have voiced this same point. The point I'm trying to make, I guess, is that if you've watched long enough, you notice a lot of patterns they default to when they really didnt like a show/episode.
@Naxx03
@Naxx03 8 месяцев назад
@@swag31556 I agree. I think that's the case for them except for Star Wars. When they watch something SW and see something they don't really like they say the things you mentioned above and just cope with it and ignore it, despite using the same arguments for other shows and saying they don't like it, because of it. I mean S3 of Mando was mostly ass, Bobba Fett was ass the entire time and if you watch their ranking videos except resistance everything SW is A or above. That's why I like Rick. He isn't SW simp. He will tell you if he doesn't like something regardless of nostalgia

Andor was the best. Mando S1-2 also good. book of Boba was watchable. The rest, not my thing… oh, Rogue One also good.

The Last Jedi is easily the worst of Disney Star Wars that I've seen, and the best is The Clone Wars Season 7
