Astral owns the Numbers, he gets the say on whether or not Yuma is allowed to summon one. Using Numbers in a non life or death situation could potentially backfire like it almost did with that Weevil clone kid that took control of two of them despite not being a Number Stand User. Also most of the Numbers they caught arent viable and are quite terrible for a deck like his which mainly focuses on Level 4s.

@@SiNKarnage 1. true but he dossent say “your only allowed to use number 39” it’s more like “your allowed to use my numbers forever this duel, but the next one you can’t” the writers limited Astral along with Yuma when they wrote there duels, they could very easily just have written more scenes in where Astral says “if we want to get the upper hand in this duel, we need to summon this other number we won from this previous guy” Astral would only really say no in duels without stakes, wich he didn’t do thoug out all of season one. 2. The only point I see in that is, Yuma is immune to the number take overs after Astral has claimed said number, random people arent, the problem isent that the opponent gets advantage’s, (one that isent huge, because at the time the writers started leaving in to that, Yuma and Astral had lots of numbers in there Ekstra deck, so the opponent can impossible take control of them all) its that the opponent gets in danger if they have a brain control card, and suddenly it have become a duel with stakes, so you have a point in that, but its not because the the opponent can potentially win if they get a hold of them, at that point it’s no different from any other ordinary XYZ card in Yumas ekstra deck. 3. OK at the first two points you had arguments I could see some points in, but this one is the worst one, I can’t think of any Number monster that had effects that made it only beneficial in specific archetypes, when they hit the field, they don’t really need specific cards to be usable, there effects can’t dish benefit the two because there in yumas deck, and depending on wich situation you can imagine them in, and the collection of numbers they have at the point of season two, you can imagene some number cards to get them out that isent Utopia, yes some of them he can’t use because of different recruitments like 69 needing big amounts of anger to control, or the other Heraldic beast number needing Heraldic beast specifically to summon out, but that is a really small amount. And Yuma not being able to summon them out, because his deck consists of mostly rank fours is false, Yuma has several cards that can change there levels from 1 - 8 or Mach a different monsters level, he could easily summon an XYZ monster of different ranks if he desired.
