Pierce is almost like if Paul McBeth actually fell off after years at the top. Obviously it's not it's not really true since just this year she won both OTB (without Tattar playing) and Austin, and had three more top 10 placements, but it really does feel like she's lost some of the magic. in 2022 she had 3 placements lower than top 10 in 25 events (one of them an 11th place at Throw Pink), but she's already hit 3 lower than top 10 placements this year playing only 8 events. I don't know what her fairway hit, OB, and circle putting numbers are, but it wouldn't surprise me if she's closer to average than best this year, which might be the first year that's happened to her.
@@DarttheLegend I also believe that! But right now it's hard to see whether she wants to return to form, and if she does will she be as dominant or will she more like an improved Missy Gannon position.
Blows my mind people are saying Paige is one of the least likeable people on tour. Like, are you people actually going to events and meeting and talking to these pros or just reading random drama on Reddit? I've always been a Paige fan, I always will be. Watching the battles of her and Catrina circa-2015 is what sparked my love of disc golf and watching professionals. A lot of my interest stifled when she got injured earlier this year. I still watch and enjoy, but it isn't the same without her.
I feel like Paige can play way better than Kristin with a big lead, however in a tight situation I feel like Kristin has better nerves MOST of the time
Paige lost all credibility when she said she could be top 20 in MPO at her peak. Delusional. She wants to talk about the "spirit of the game" but advocates for trans athletes playing in FPO which has taken opportunities and prize money away from actual female competitors. She's been dominant in the past but the FPO field was nothing compared to what it is now; It'll be interesting to see if she can even compete with Kristen when she heals from the injury. My guess is she will remain the most unlikable female on tour, only time will tell.
Depends on the course if she could be top 20 mpo at her peak. If it's all 400+ foot shots then no. also she has beat Kristin. Someone has a bad season and then gets injured and everyone thinks there career is over
Incredibly rude individual imo. Someone that has a platform in the sport as she has you shouldn’t openly complain about people approaching you and saying hi and ask for a autograph. That should be a cherished thing knowing people out there like you so much they spend their hard earned money on your merchandise. I think she forgets the more fans one can get the more opportunities their is to make $ from sales.
