It also shows why his are more thoughtful and he only does it to people he thinks deserves it. Jim never pranked an innocent. His brothers’ prank is just them being jerks and then saying “we were only kidding”.

Pam had (and Jenna played) the perfect mixture of slightly geeky and slightly mischievous along with a touch of sweetness with smarts. Her character was perfect in so many ways. Asian Jim was my favorite prank along with “bears eat beets” identity theft.

Pam sucked. Karen was the move. The writers even admitted that they preferred Jim to have been with Karen; hence the short lived love plot between them that ended so abruptly and terribly. The producers over ruled the writers and that’s why Jim and Pam stayed together.

We're missing when she sent messages to him as if his computer developed consciousness. He was competing against the machines in the sales and "the computer" was humiliating him... At the end, we see Pam feeling sad about Dwight's heartbreak with Angela, so "the computer" tells him that he's the best, that it could never beat him, that it admits its defeat and his superiority...

Yea it kijnda ruined other comedies for me (big bang theory, friends, etc) because the difference in acting is absurd. Obviously the office is more down to earth compared to the others, but still I think the actors here are insanely good. They play it very real

It’s from Season 3 Episode 10, “A Benihana Christmas.” It was a double-episode; Pam gives Jim the “gift” that he declines in the first half, but Jim reconsiders and completes the prank at the end of the second half.
