Day 2 of asking All Ears for an international Disney trip (Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai)!!! I'm gonna need at LEAST Quincy, Emma, and Fry Bucket there. Extra points for Sage!! 👩🏻🦰🙎🏻♀👱🏻♀🌎🏰✨🐭✈
The Hogwart's Express goes to IOA as well so would you count that for IOA too ? Also, when the New Minions, Villian Con opens, you'll have to update this list.
I feel the scoring on Rip Ride Rockit was a little too generous. Theming is so minimal on it. You're basically just told that it has a music theme, but aside form cheap low quality queue line videos nothing gives that impression. And the track itself has 0 theming. All it has going for it is letting you pick a song to listen to on the ride. So to say theming on it is 4 but giving a lower score to other better themed rides isn't really fair. I'd say a 5 on popularity is questionable too. A 2 on Accessibility ok, but really I feel it's more of a 1. Least body size friendly ride in the park (have gone with a couple different friends before that this was the only ride they were not able to fit on), nausea/headached/etc. inducing effects that prevent people with those issues, height requirement, ADA accessibility. I'd say it's really more of a 14-15 score.
Top favs out of all Universal Orlando: Velocicoaster, Mummy, Men in Black, Spider-Man. Haven't been able to ride Hagrids yet due to my thighs (almost there though) and only rode Gringotts when it opened in 2014. Gringotts restraints are more restricting than the Mummy's as well due to the shin part (which is dumb imo), plus the track tilts down to connect to the rest of the coaster. 💙 UOAP GANG 💙
It's not the best but the fact that they placed it below the basic Hurl and Twirl spinning ride is wild. The theming alone should have put it higher on the list.
Yeah, Minions above Jimmy Fallon is crazy. The theming for Fallon is actually really good and immersive, they even had a live quartet performing in there the last time we visited. And the ride itself is surprisingly fun.
The Simpsons ride is fine. They gave it a 3 for them, which doesn't make much sense to me. It actual has a very immersive queue line that incorporates just about all of the most popular Simpson characters and the ride itself is fun and creative.
Is the introduction movie for ET dated and awkward? Yes. Is is sadly hilarious when the old, barely functioning animated man yells "Wooooaaa!" when you... uh... "clank" off the car on your bike? Yes. Is the ride janky overall? Yes. Still #1 in my book.
Truth be told I have never seen E.T. and I love this ride; I think I like the ride better than Peter Pan in Disney World. Solely because I like that it's basically a walk-on and I really enjoy the immersion of the bike better than being on the floating ship.
If anyone gets angry over ride rankings they need to reevaluate how they view things lol. I would have flipped F&F & Kang and Kodos but they are the two worst at USF. The top 3 was spot on. I'd have flipped MIB & RRR due to the roughness RRR now has but both belong in the top 5. Fallon & Transformers deserve better imo. Fun video. Can't wait to check out IOA.
Yes. There are very few actual coasters or dark rides. Most are screen rides/simulators. From this list, I’d count Fast and Furious, Jimmy Fallon, Minions, Transformers (arguably), and Simpsons as simulators. That’s 5 out of 12. I’m personally not a fan and it’s really not great if you get motion sickness.
@@HerHollyness And really could up it to 6. Gringotts is a coaster/dark ride hybrid but is very screen focused as well. It's basically Transformers with a couple of coaster moments. I don't mind these as much since there is at least a track and some surrounding scenery too versus a full on simulator/screen the whole time. The new Minions Blast attraction will be screen based too.
Yup, great vid! I agree 100% with the rankings. Made me think tho, The Mummy will seem out of place in Universal Studios with Dark Universe land coming to Epic Universe...should they replace it? Controversial take, I know.
Putting Supercharged at the bottom of the list is just a terrible take Put that at the top cause it’s the best ride ever. 2 thumbs down Fallon IS the worst attraction in all of Universal’s history
