Bushiroad only cares about LL and BDG for the IP. They simply dont care Revue Starlight at all. Revue only got 1 season anime and 1 movie. Then you have LL and BDG getting new anime and movie every/ every other year. Then we have Ateam powercreep everything after Arcana series. this game is non playable with RNG stage effect. Nowadays the new unit has a longer skill list than my job duties. Ateam also being biased on certain girls like Yachiyo got all the broken pvp cards (cheerleader, QoH with 0 counterplay when team dispel was very uncommon at that time ) before Arcana. Or Justice/Izanami Nana who one shot your entire team from full hp. With this game ends, I wonder how long will this IP last. The VN game just came out and it may be the last product we have. Sorry but I don't care about the stage play. Siegfeld got everything ( both in/outside of relive) meanwhile Rinmekan and Frontier were treated like adopted. Also, the gacha is a joke. Bad rate, expensive, got outdated duplicates most of the time. How many times we got a muskaren on a guaranteed slot? This game is full of flaw. P2W, win trading, bad gachs system, outdated modes sat there for ages, everything gets outdated in a month. Sorry I won't miss this game.
I agree with you on every point but i still think it was a great game only if there weren't so much powercreep. I fell in love with the whole concept of revue starlight and hopefully we will get more content past El Dorado.
This is how I find out the game is ending... It's always the good ones 😭 I played it quite a lot at the start. Loved the game. Stopped because of work not leaving me much time to play many games in general. Always wanted to return to it but figured there was way too much to catch up on

D4DJ's 2023 profits were only 19% more than Starlight's, but Bandori's were over twice their profits *combined* and it remains in the top 5 of Japanese rhythm games.

Ive been playing it off and on for the past couple years last pvp match i did was right after that announcement and i got 2 turn sweeped by getting hit with a stun and 1 million dots that cannot knock out the stage girls. Due to the game's service ending soon i probably will not see every collab climax act so far only seen the Miku and Arisa one which the moment im writing this part im reminded of the reality of bandori also likely ending service. I just hope Starlight doesn't just remain as an ip that dies because the game is dead and they'll do something with it like maybe make another anime season or really anything, i just hate to see an ip not get the love it deserves
the charm of this channel is the satire that it has over other gacha content creators, never really meaning what he says, and being what i think, the funniest youtuber from the gacha community. this video is just sad. its just a reminder of the inevitable death of every single one of these games, making one wonder what is the point of even getting characters. it happened to this awful turn based game, it will happen to zzz, genshin, both honkais and wuwa too...all this money, for what? the momentary satisfaction of "having" these characters? only to be washed away forever into the void. i know everything in life is like that, but a few years? fuck this.
I played it when the anime aired which was six years ago? I don't know why I quit tho. Maybe because the PVP. I recommend the anime too, it's not idol anime, it's drama musical, if you don't understand it's like a stage play you do during school festival event.
Ah so this game is to blame for setting that standard, maybe more so than Hankai Impact 3rd. Regardlass of how awesome the gamemodes are or the hot girls, i could never get into them because the story or central cast members were unbalanced in genders. Since all these gacha games want to profit, they fill to whole roster with girls or have one boring MC.
If a game is nowhere near to the system of Genshin, Wuwa, Star Rail, Honkai Impact then no matter what game others bring I think none will give attention. I speak for all if u give me chance that is We want game character model to be movable as we choose for example, if i get Acheron i can mover her any way i want i can use her actions etc. I dont like games when they bring new characters but unable to move them nor use their actions as we want. I dont like whe these games have character seen only in fighting scene or animated cut scene. So i conclude that this BS game deserves it. PvP, in P2W gacha games? When will these people ever learn? Catering to the mega whales so they can flex how much of their life's savings they've spent on a gacha game may sound like a good idea, but if the F2P players don't wanna play, the whales have no one to flex to. Not to mention that the mega whales will make the dolphins (who are the biggest bulk of your revenue) feel like they're F2P so THEY won't want to play anymore either. Point is, don't listen or appeal to the people like the guy who made this video, it will destroy your game. Anyways, this sounds like a terrible game, no wonder it failed. There's not even any Rule 34 of this game, that's how bad it is, cuz that's all these "all girls" and "idol" games are good for anyways.
