I don’t know why people don’t do more anime openings on this talent shows Edit: thanks for the 1.2k likes and comments as well and also have none of you heard if of leeandlie there are also other people that have done covers of anime english and japanese on youtube..one if the ones that LeeandLie did was Might+U from My hero academia with the english VA of Mirio it's so cool and amazing so I don't see what other people can't do it at this music shows. She even has a lot of sub to her channel and so do other other RU-vidrs who do covers. I also think you can still like a song and still not be a fan of anime that's what happen to a few of my friends they still don't like anime but like the endings or OP of the songs

It is underrated lmao, I never heard any anime songs ever outside of an anime store or hanging out with people. U don’t hear anime songs in talent shows and all that because they are just cartoon openings yet they are so amazing. And yes anime is a cartoon, anime stands for animation in Japan. And this is someone who wrote a 3-5 page essay on anime for english class telling u this. Man was I tired, but I also had fun.

@@teresacortez7174 since the 90s? You don’t know the Peruvian Culture at all. Peru has the 3rd biggest Japanese community in the World. It’s not just animes. For us having Japenese or Chinese roots are part of our lives. We had Japanese programs (not just the animes) since the 90s. Because we had a president with Japanese roots as well. Kdramas were way famous in Peru first than any other countries in Latin America. The Same with Vietnamese and Thai soap dramas. The Asian culture in Peru is big. The biggest China Town in Latin America is in Lima, Peru. Cuz there a the 3rd biggest Chinese community in the World

HopeforAllKind "anime" itself isn't really a genre of music -_- that's why the original commenter said that it's just regular music, just music that comes from a different country. That is also a personal preference too, and some anime openings are actual songs that they have edited to fit the opening.

@@loiserick5933 It's not racist at all, lol. And yeah, Japanese is the original language and that's why it may sound better, but few animes are aired in South America and almost all openings are officially dubbed and people know the Spanish lyrics.

@@loiserick5933 nah a lot of the anime openings from the 90s were dub in Spanish which sound just as good or better in some cases for the Spanish speaking countries, changing the language doesn't make it worse on the contrary it enhances the meaning to the lyrics because everyone knows what your singing, the Thai guy sang Japanese because that was what the opening was in Thailand, if they would have dub it into his native language that's what he would of sang.

Peru has the third largest Japanese Community in the world. For us animes were like just “cartoons” we grew up with the Japanese culture not just on tv also with food and many things. We even had a President half Japanese. Animes were in everywhere we had a mall(shopping center) just with anime things or Asian culture stuff. Our parents didn’t see animes as something bad just things that their kids like. My mom bought me everything of Pokémon when I was a kid. But EVERYTHING. Then about Digimon. Yu-Gi-Oh was very famous as well. You didn’t need to be an OTAKU to like them. We all liked them.

Japanese cultura is part of our culture because we had the third largest Japanese community in the World. We grow up with anime. Our “cartoons” were basically anime. Every National Tv Channel had at least one anime. Also in the Government Tv Channel there were some Japanese programs for kids.
