That’s why I never really liked heavy tanks in this game. I’d rather have a quick no armor tank with a good gun that I can position well and just one shot people and hope I spot them first and hit them first.

It's not top BR, there's no guided weapons, no helicopters, no HEAT-FS, no thermals, no stabilizers, no composite armor, no supersonic aircraft, and ground vehicles are slower. Basically, it's what we all joined War Thunder to get. World War 2, and nothing else.

​@@pz.vincesiqueiros7185 Nah, it was a round you attached over the muzzle, so the charge is wholly outside of the barrel, held in place by a stick place inside the gun barrel - like a rifle grenade, as bogdan said, or a water bottle rocket attached to a pump. The German sIG 33 and the PaK36 3.7 had similarly-deployed charges (Stielgranate 42 and Stielgranate 41, respectively) to allow them to defeat heavier armour at close range - although the Stielgranate 42 was ostensibly a demolition charge mainly used for, well, demolition work. It was still very big and very explosive, though, and by 1942 the Soviets have already taught you that a very big and very explosive thing is capable of knocking out heavy tanks just as easily as fortifications if it hit. (It often wouldn't, in the case of the 42 especially, but if it was accurate and reliable it wouldn't be an emergency use only scenario.) All very high risk, high reward stuff you only turned to as a last resort, both because it wasn't ideal to reload (having to step between the enemy and your gun shield/armoured crew compartment would not be a fun experience, especially at the range these rounds were effective for), and if you had to use it, it was because it was your only hope of stopping something very hostile and very close to you that your regular rounds were incapable of even slowing down, and you had little hope of escaping from alive otherwise.

Ps normal zoom (z for me) can be easier than follow cam and allows you to scan the air for unspotted targets, also phly uses free cam (c for me) and wasd to fight while looking backwards

lmao 2 people replied and didn't even answer your question. Basically you can set keybinds to also control the plane through keyboard controls i believe a lot of people use ctrl for up and shift for down and then A and D and Q and E are already bound to roll and rudder so the only thing you need is just C (default) for looking around with mouse. So by default you can already use C to look around, and A and D to roll and Q and E to use rudder, so the only thing you really need to change is like i said adding keybinds for elevator which i believe most people use ctrl and shift but you can set it to whatever you want.

Add your elevator controls to W and S, roll controls to A and D and rudder controls to Q and E. Then throttle to L SHIFT and L CTRL. That's how probably most people use it so you have control over the plane without the need of mouse guidance. Also to get the control surfaces to extreme values fast when needed (like diving and needing to pull up with elevator to avoid hitting ground).

Only thing you need to do is set keybinds for your elevator. I set mine to my mouse buttons. That way you can press C to look around while still having control. Elevator keybind really helps in dogfights especially at jet tier. Also helps you pull off loops and hard turns in heavy bombers like the bv238 which would be much harder or impossible to pull off with just mouse aim

Actully the round got a nerf, now its 93 mm. The same as the french one but the french one has more ammo. And trust me, that is needed

yes, at times true for veterans as well. WT has a special charm. Try to mix it up with planes or different nations. You will get more xp from realistic mode, but may help to practice and learn some skills in arcade first.
