Hahaha Danielle killed us in this one, hilarious! Also, Draco was mad attention seeking, glad he got some love! Destinies is so so good! Love that you guys are playing it together and having fun with it!
Finally played the intro scenario with my wife. I thought she wouldn't like it and didn't seem too into when we played but the next day she asked to play it again! So hey, it's a winner! I think it's just so easy to play and get into that it holds onto your attention the whole time. My only gripe is there can occasionally be time where one player is doing a bunch of stuff on their turn and the next player, just moves twice and is like ok I'm done, which can make down time fairly long at times. But besides that I think it's great.
That’s definitely a thing. Now I wish we would have mentioned that. I don’t think it takes away from the experience as a whole but there are absolutely turns where you do one thing and then your turn is over. It’s not super regular but maybe 1-2 times every session? I don’t know. Good shout!
Love your communications/interactions and also joking about the rule book. I'm not into App-based games and still clicked on the video. I would like to try it out if I can find an option without buying it for myself ( just because of the app- thing). Hope I can find it in a boardgame Café or something like that.
@@Tablenauts I did manage to try it and really enjoyed it. I actually own the majority of Destinies now. This video really makes me wanna play it again.
I really liked your review. One question ... Since it's an app game anyway....why did they give you a huge deck of cards? They could've just incorporated the deck into the app and made it much easier.
For tracking purposes I’m not entirely sure how it’d work. You can keep up to 5 items in hand and I’m not certain how the app would handle that. Thanks Peter!
