bleach's first arc is def it's weakest and thats fine because it's the first arc of the story, its not bad by any means, if u go by the manga, we get to see who ichigo is and his friends, him building a friend ship with rukia, fighting his guilt of what happened to his mother, etc, and the lost agent arc (fullbring arc) is also really great
Was nervous going into Bleach and hearing everyone say the first arc is the worst, and after finishing it, it was 7/10 for me so I guess there really isn't a low point from where I am? (start of Arrancar)
@@shark20069 then you're makin a mistake if ur watching, the bleach anime changed & removed scenes from certain characters like orihime, makin u dislike her in the anime, compare her to the manga she's a diff character, they also pushed a relationship between rukia & ichigo in the earlier episodes, these are only few examples of why Kubo himself disliked the original adaptation, also, the arrancar arc's pace in the anime is a slow burn compared to the manga, altho they add additional content like certain characters backstory, overall, u should read the manga, afterwards u can watch & read the tybw arc to see the differences (cuz it's important imo) altho dont miss out the OSTS & Openings
unpopular opinion: lrll isnt even that bad, sure it didnt do much towards world building but i found it funny and enjoyable to watch, foxy is such a mood
We got some respect for Lrll wich is deserved especially since it’s a big part of why have the wings of the pirate king in zoro and sanji starting from the Davy back fight as the first time they probably fought together
As a bleach fan myself personally my favorite arc in the series is the fullbringer arc(very underrated gem of bleach) however an all round best arc in general undeniably goes to the soul society arc
Honestly within the og anime, I would have to agree. But I kind of feel like if the Arrancar Saga was paced better and didn't drag out a relatively simple plot that is filled with interesting characters to 100+ eps and drag out fights that would have been great to multiple episodes for no particular reason(something that is a problem with a lot of early shonens) I probably would have enjoyed that more than SS. But I genuinely think the new tybw would be better if it's properly wrapped up and is consistently as good if not better than the first season we got.
I agree with you, the fullbringer arc had pretty good side characters and Tsukishima was a great antagonist. But for the best, and my favourite, it's gotta be Fake Karakura town.
@@Iron_fist66 I thought that it was a bit underwhelming compared to the other arcs but I liked Tsukishima as a villain and the emotional attacks he used.
@@marcomilillo2001 I haven't yet cause I wanna hear em out so please enlighten me on what I should look out for if they say it on purpose or not, good sir

Everything but the rain (and the roger flashbacks in wano) made me ugly cry from how tragic this arc is in the grand scheme of the story (anything with Ishinn immediately becomes god tier)
Anyway,at the end of the day it's all subjective Like, saying Bleach characters are almost all 1 dimensional is fine if it is a subjective opinion If someone is doing a statement (about the same example of before),that's when he is hella wrong, technically speaking. The guy who made the list was so wrongon Bleach, but honestly "there are no bad arcs in Naruto and Bleach" is kinda wrong as well
@@marcomilillo2001 how exactly are most bleach characters one dimensional then? Little hater, i hate this type of argument of ‘fanboyism’ etc. It’s so weak and shows you have no other way to combat someone else’s perspective. I remember you also were down in every Bleach combat section, shitting on everyone who thought the tybw animation looked great, because there’s not a lotta sakuga
I liked the war arc imo, the only think I didn’t like was madara turning into Kaguya, but tbh it’s an okay plot twist because of his delusion for peace.
I actually enjoyed Long Ring Long Land personally. Zoro’s man speech to Chopper, the interesting slow slow beams, the introduction of the davy hack fights, and my main man AFRO LUFFY! Fire imo but what I wiuld rank below that for me personally would be syrup village which even then still had some moments I enjoyed just not as much as any other arc in the series.
Buu arc is by far the worst of Dragon Ball. Most of the other arcs are excellent, especially Namek. One Piece has a good amount of weak arcs, but none are really terrible, just mid. Substitute Shingami is also pretty good and the Aizen arc is probably my least favorite as it’s just way too long. Best arc is Thousand Year Blood War despite the weak ending. For Naruto, the War arc is definitely the worst, but there’s some excellent moments in it, but the best arc is the middle of Shippuden with the build up and pay off of Pain.
war arc is literally the most important arc in the series and has 70% of the best naruto moments in it, you simply cannot put it as the worst even if some parts were not good
Also the undeniably most painful to keep watching and plot holled arc. I had to keep a pen and paper to keep tally on the eyes being shuffled around like they were monopoly money
@rayhanrehemaputra1719 It's a constant up and down, sure it has plenty of bad writing but there were also plenty of good writing, the war arc features some of Naruto's best and some of it's worst, it's like a soundwave. I wouldn't call it the worst arc because a lot of Naruto's peak moments did happen in that arc, If we're talking about the worst arc then for me that's gotta be the tenchi bridge arc, the only good thing about that arc was naruto vs Orochimaru.
@rayhanrehemaputra1719sure the writing isn't that great but it's the most important arc that everything was building into and has the best moments of the series. I get it if you didn't like it (kinda) but saying its the worst arc is just wrong
Tbh i finished long ring long land a couple days ago and i enjoyed the heck out of it it was just two dumbasses fighting each other and you couldn't go wrong with afro luffy
I mean yeah but the entire davy back fight justs seems like filler, literally nothing important happend during those episodes, the introduction of the admirals was pretty neat though
as a person caught up in manga and anime if you loved that arc you will be watching peak for the next 800 plus eps I’m jealous of you as a long time one piece fan the show is the greatest story ever written wonder what ep you on now ?
I think that with war arc people refer to the first part, the edo tensei fights, and that one sucked, old characters getting resurrected and just fights with people we already saw
Long Ring wasn't that bad in the manga, the anime just decided to ruin it. The war arc is 100% the worst canon Naruto arc and I've only read 57 chapters of Bleach so I can't really comment there.
The Tournament of Power arc caught a stray ☠️ + I'm gonna have to disagree on the worst arc being substitute soul reaper. Maybe it's just me, but it's whole motif with overcoming grief and how it leads into the SS arc makes it one of my favorites in bleach
Love these types of videos, my takes are one piece best arc is enies lobby and worst is long ring. Naruto best arc is chunin exams and worst arc is most of shippuden/war arc. Dragon ball best arc is Cell saga and worst arc is really hard but I have to say Buu arc. And for best arc in bleach is soul society/rukia retrieval(I'm reading the manga so i forgot what its called) and substitute shinigami is the worst arc.
War arc is peak. Literally long but mostly better then the pain arc. I mean there is alot of filler in the war arc but its ok u can skip it (i didint) and the sadness and the happiness in the arc is just perfect. And we learned much and much more characters and backstories. It was just just PEAK
I’ll defend the substitute soul reaper arc here 1. it really gave us a major introduction in to some of the mature themes 2. It established ichigo’s motivations for everything else in the series 3. It gave us a way to see ichigo as a human being so many things would have been different if he was just a soul reaper like his defiance of byakuya in soul society I’d honestly argue it’s muramasa’s arc and if that doesn’t cut it (cause it’s filler) I’d give it to fullbring it just felt like a showcase of ichigo’s growth rather than much of a meaningful story that kubo up to then made such a fantastic story for
Bro I just started bleach 20 episodes in and It is super good already like it’s not peak but I want to watch every episode. I doesn’t feel like a chore to watch it even when it’s setting up the plot. If people think this is its worst arc then bleach is going to be great.
Hot take but my most favorite OP ark is Skypiea, it had the most impact in the shortest amount of time in terms of lore, foreshadowing, showing Luffys power and how he could counteract devil fruits, the poneglyph, gear 5 sun god foreshadow, and it was so emotional too knowing noland and calgaras dream finally got fulfilled and the damn bell bro made a grown ass man cry
@@223sfa6 it’s not that people wanted him, it’s the fact that for over 7 years he was built as this endgame boss, and then here comes some random Alien that no one has any attachment to, and there was no adequate build up for her introduction. It’s just bad writing.
@rayhanrehemaputra1719 like he said that's delusional lol but op have only 1 worst arc most of them are good skypeia would be contender but afro luffy exist lol
Honestly for Beach while not a true canon arc, The Zanpaktou rebellion Arc is a Fantastic arc that with some light tweaks could be canon, ironically the arc follwing I found annoying because it was purely episodic, like Zabi, Maru and Senbosakura's episode was the only enjoyable one and that says something. But yeah Hueco, Soul Society and TYBW have been amazing to this day
My Opinion: One Piece - Marineford Vs Long Ring Long Land Naruto - Pain Invasion Vs The War Arc DBZ - Namek Saga Vs (I Don’t Really Know) Bleach - Soul Society Vs Substitute Soul Reaper
War arc was actually a great and enjoyable arc. It is usually divided up into Five Kage Summit, 4th Shinobi War - Countdown, 4th Shinobi War - Confrontation and 4th Shinobi War - Climax. I think what you are really talking about is the Kaguya Otsutsuki Strikes arc
@@rishu4139 nothing big happens in soul society and it doesn't expand on the verse or on the scs the only thing it expands on is ichigo in the grand fisher part so yeah its boring af its beat hollow talk to person for 3 eps straight then rinse and repeat
@@acuothacuoth502 Wdym “Nothing happened in soul society and it doesn’t expand the verse.” Because of SS we get introduced to the Gotei 13, learn about bankai and Shikai and how zonpokto work. idk why the 4th Great ninja war arc is hated so much, yes it was dragged out(I like it that way) and Madara wasn't the final villain but it was Naruto being hella badass and a true MAN the entire arc and the fights were epic. Its my favorite arc of all time
@@acuothacuoth502 It also has a lot of the most peak moments of naruto, war arc features some of naruto's best but also some of it's worst, I definitely wouldn't call it the worst arc when the tenchi bridge arc exist.
Dragon ball super itself just degraded everything. Worst arc ? It was decided when kalilfa went super Saiyan through A GODDAMN TINGLY FEELING IN HER BACK.
In my opinion these are the worst db, Dbz, dbs, and dbgt Garlic jr saga Black star dragon ball Saga Super Android 13 saga Rof saga Granolah saga (Forgot to mention copy vegeta)
I think the "worst" Naruto arc might be the Tenchi Bridge arc. It's still quite decent, but comparatively the other arcs are just better. But it's certainly not the War Arc. If you want to, you could count the initial WA, or the Kaguya section as its own mini arc from the War Saga.
Imo best dbz arc is prolly Saiyan saga and worst is namek (not bad just dragged on too long, Frieza saga was W tho), One Piece best for me was Enies Lobby and worst was Long Ring Long Land, Naruto for me best was chunin exams and the worst was most of the war arc, and for bleach I found hueco Mundo the best and honestly the worst for me was the arc right after Ichigo lost his powers
Aight let me say my opinions on what arc is best and worst One piece: Best:Dressrosa(manga)/Wano(anime) Worst:Long ring long land Naruto: Best:Pain Worst:Kazekage retrieval I agree with the guy who made the video And since i haven't watched or read dragon ball or bleach I'ma say two of my other favorite animes best and worst arcs Hunter x Hunter: Best:Chimera ant Worst:Zoldyck family Attack on Titan: Best:Return to shiganshina Worst:No clue but probably an arc from season two
If we're going canon, Long Ring Long Land arc is only as bad because they stretched - so basically fillified it noticeably - in the anime. And if we're counting fillers it's the arc with the dragons in Warship Island arc.
Worst one piece arc is Zou, I found myself deeply uninterested and felt as if the pacing dragged halfway through the arc while long ring Long land was dumb fun throughout. I understand Zou is important but goddamn did we get cucked when Jack spent 5 chapters saying “we’re gonna do something…….mmmmhmmm………we’re gonna do something” before getting flicked away by zou
Me personally syrup village was the worst One Piece arc. Long Ring Long Land was actually kinda fun. These mini arcs that don't do much for the story are great to see as they not only improve the world building but give Oda an excuse to do whatever he wants
I’d say my top #1 arcs for one piece are Water 7/Enies Lobby (I usually just put them together) because of how impactful each and every section of it is. Intro to Franky, Robin and Usopp character development, lore for world government and the spark of (literal) fire when burning the WG flag. The fights were great, intro to Chopper’s monster point, gear 2nd and 3rd intro, great openings, new ship (and heartfelt goodbye of the going merry). I think you get the point 😅.
I’d even go as far as to say even Skypiea was super impactful. It gave lots of track room for development of Poneglyphs, introduction was amazing with the upwards whirlpool, introduced Bellamy and was the first instance of Doflamingo, was also the first instance of Observation Haki used by Enel, and gave a great matchup between Enel and Luffy to help better explain Devil Fruits early on. While it’s nowhere near top 3 arcs, early one piece arcs should NOT be slept on
nahh its the reverse mountain arc as the worst or the arc with the heat wave fruit ( not that charlotte guys fruit) and attract fruit (which is probably can be eaten by 2 people and give them both devil fruit powers) which somehow not on google so it might japan excusive idk IM NOT CAPPING
It’s not that One Piece doesn’t have a worst arc, it’s just that it’s arcs are so vastly different in tone and scope from one another that we as a fandom can’t come to a consensus on what the worst one is. I think it’s Skypiea because the flashback was too long and it’s so disconnected from the rest of the story, but I know a lot of people that think it’s the best arc!
@@acuothacuoth502 Yes, Wano’s was longer, but it was also incredibly important not just to Wano but to the endgame of the story as well, since it’s the first time we get to really see Roger in action. Skypia’s flashback is just so isolated. The history of the sky islands and the friendship of Noland and Calgura aren’t exactly getting brought up on a regular basis.
flashback made me cry ngl, I felt like it was the only good thing in the monstrosity skypiea was. I didn't find anything else worthy about this arc, apart from some world building info, not to mention the anime pacing was ass
I never really got the hate for agent of the shinigami hate, it had some pretty good character moments and just had a vibe no other anime had been able to capture to me.
Bleach doesn't have any bad arcs It's golden plot Substitute soul reaper built the basis of the story It's not a plot arc more like an introduction arc Also the yhwach foreshadowing in that arc makes it peak
to be fair substitute soul reaper is dripping with deeper more thematic takes, its just not as exciting as the others, same reason why people hate fullbring because clearly aizen was the bad guy all along, this is basically filler. what do you mean that there are so many unanswered questions you could write a book with them
I would say the major thing i hated about long ring long land was how it was such a simple premise for a fun sports arc, but they somehow dragged it out 5x longer than it should have been
Bro i liked war arc for someone who was not open to anime as i used to watch naruto only as it was on a pirated content website so i liked it very much
Let me fix this rq: Dragon Ball’s best arc is the Android/Cell Arc and it’s worst is the Emperor Pilaf Saga Naruto’s best arc is the Chunin Exams/Konoha Crush Arc and it’s worst is the Kazekage Rescue Arc. One Piece’s best arc is the Water Seven/Enies Lobby Arc and it’s worst is the Long Ring Long Land Arc Bleach’s best arc is the Arrancar Arc and it’s worst is the Fullbringer Arc
@@ghhbpolo personally I think Arrancar arc became bad through the end. The whole arc had great moments but also bad ones However I feel like the ending could have been better and it's when some of the worst moments took place
@marcomilillo2001 I think things started to change once we got into hueco Mundo. The whole 1st part of the hueco mundo arc was boring af, only getting interesting by like the last 1/2 of it. To me, that's a decent part of the entire arc. Then u have the entirety of fkt. The pacing was rlly terrible here. I mean, I get that kubo wanted to expand characters by having lieutenants fight, but why make it so that everyone was watching them fight like a pokemon battle? It only dragged on more because we had to see soi fon fcking around with a fraccione, and omaedas fight was just awful. The top 3 espadas were disappointing as well, then there's yammy, the 0 espada who was offscreened. To this day, we don't have an explanation for what final getsuga tenshou even is so it felt like a cheap way to beat aizen. The worst arc is a thrown in between this and fullbring arc for me. The fullbring arc, in terms writing, is no doubt much better than the arrancar arc, but the letdown were huge imo. U ended up giving af about 2 fullbringers, the arc was supposed to be for Chad, but he got sidelined the entire time, ichigos emotional breakdown beong ruined by 2 factors: losing powers mean nothing in bleach, and the plot sword that got ichigos powers back INSTANTLY. Part of what I don't like about bleach is the way kubo approaches "smart" characters. In other series we get a good explanation for how smart acts work, so its not an asspull, but in bleach, everyone just accepts whatever convenient device kisuke or mayuri pull out because they're badass.
@@ghhbpolo I think it's mostly because they are smart. We know that they analyze with very attention everything around them. For example Kisuke finding a way to help soul reapers taking their bankai back In other words, they are always ready with a plan. Mayuri more than normal, for example against Szayelaporro. Although it still looked like an asspull, but at least that one got a story behind To me Hueco Mundo best part is when the Espada started to fight and other characters such as Kenpachi and Byakuya joined. Grimmjow and Ulquiorra being the best fights as well as the only 2 good Espada when it comes to characterization (and Nelliel but she is an ex Espada) Even though I liked Starkk a lot (despite being done so dirty in the story especially about his strength),Barragan,Szayel and Nnoitra where evil enough to entertain. Harribel still a wasted character despite her important role in the novel,Aaroniero had his good part with Rukia, then nothing else. And the last Espadas well, nothing special. You really couldn't even care about them. Yammi reveal was useless, just for the sake of doing a plot twist. I didn't mind Soi Fon and the liutenants fights,I think it's good when characters have their moments of importance, but the pacing wasn't helping at all and all of their fights could have been sum up all together to make the progression faster As for Fullbring arc,it's not that losing powers doesn't matter,it just that it got ruined by the fact that you can find a (not very difficult) way to have them back. The only time Ichigo did it,there wasn't a solution and he was sure of losing them with no return. Yes the moment got ruined, but not completely One good thing from TYBW is that it ended this thing about Ichigo discovering his real powers,as well as adding new races to him which became annoying (and I also think there wasn't even the need to make him a fullbringer to begin with). However,I don't think you can really take your powers back. For Ichigo it worked only because those weren't his real shinigami powers,he didn't even have a real zanpakuto to begin with. Now it's different,he has his actual soul reaper powers. What Kisuke did with his sword might not work anymore. But also Ichigo is not the only example of gaining his powers back. Others did that too,but just like Ichigo, they needed the will to go through it and get it back. I just wish there were more drawbacks (also Zangetsu never said he would have lost his powers forever, that would have made it a retcon,at least it didn't happen). I believe that Ichigo should have went through what Uryu went through. A very difficult training to get his powers back. If Ichigo would have done that, even on a deadly level of traning,it would have still be more satisfying than just using what Kisuke made And yes, characters like Chad and Orihime not even being used since they are supposed to be the first Fullbringers the story introduced. And to end this,in the end you don't even make Ichigo seeking for more answers about what he discovered If I have to be honest,Fullbring arc has only the advatage that it was short, but I think Arrancar arc is better than it,despite the potential Fullbring had. Arrancar arc had many bad moments but it also gave some pretty good ones, honestly talking. Arrancar arc had more bs writing than Fullbring but also more good writing moments,so I would give the worst arc to Fullbring People act as if substitute soul reaper is the worst because it's boring, the same for Fullbring. But 1 being boring is very subjective (and always has been),2 the truth is behing the writing. The start of Bleach is slow but defenitely not bad written. Fullbring is more enjoyable through the end and it had better animation but the writing is worse Ironically enough, the last part of Fullbring arc is the best of the arc,yet the lack of material in the ending (such has Ichigo making something different with his powers and life objective, trying to discover more about SS dark side or Chad and Orihime having their own moment to shine) made the ending kinda underwhelming. An ending that would have been fine if it also foreshadowed the arrival of TYBW
