“My name is Chloe Rose and I break things very easily” WELL FOR YOUR INFORMATION MA’AM, I BROKE A TROMBONE AND A FRENCH HORN ON THE SAME DAY WHEN I WAS IN FIFTH GRADE! (They were fixable, but that’s not the point!)
@epic winzville ! Well I didn’t care because they were the school’s and we were testing ‘em out so we could decide what to play in middle school if we’re gonna play 😂
Just have to say, I appreciate that you looked up the pronounciation of that paint colour - it drives me nuts when people just gloss over it and never look it up. You helped teach me a new word!
I have the same problem with tearing paper out. One of my teachers taught me to use the blade and cut the paper from the glue, or use a blow dryer to loosen the glue and separate the sheets. Hope these tips help🖤
MiSti or maybe just don't tear the paper out 😂😂 my teacher liked us to keep all pages in our sketchbooks, even the very worst ones, so both them and we could see our improvement
@@molepole1998 in college, our work was separated. All practice works and final studies were from same paper, but things were taken out to be graded. Could you imagine 200+ sketchbooks piled up to be graded? College is hard, but where I went was "work smart not hard" lol.
MiSti yeah, the stuff in our books is just for class, it don’t get graded. College in Britain is different I guess as teachers would just look at it every now and then. We’d do things that got graded on a separate bit of paper, usually much larger, like A1, and do projects as well. But we’d literally get told off if we tore stuff out our sketchbooks
@@molepole1998 lol. That's harsh. I think I have had one teacher like that. But the others were like "put these in your portfolio" and the portfolio would get graded, not the sketchbooks... But I wish you all the best in your future art endeavors..🖤
@@NessaOfDorthonion 😂😂😂😂 love it! We need more literal phrases for things.. "cold food storage place" "thing you sleep in" "driving utensil" 😂😂😂 I love it!!!
That Prinston brush is a professional level brush! I use them, they’re my favorite brushes. And you are a breath of fresh air to me! Keep on being you. 😊
10 minutes with that tube of red paint and she's gonna be Chloe 'Quinacridone' Rose... ( She's already started with the green. ) Don't get mad, Quinny... We still love ya. ;- )
I lose art supplies all the time. Bad part is, they are still in the bag from when I bought them. I lost a pair of earrings 10 years ago. Still haven't found them. One day I will find them. 😁
You are truly a delight to watch and a joy to listen to expounding on your various art supplies! I too know that fear of losing expensive art supplies. You just have to give it over and know you can create with anything you can lay your hands on! I also started keeping my supplies in better storage cases, putting them away after each use. Thank you for deciding to give back to those in need in Australia! You are truly a lovely person.
The soap you got is a little sample/travel size. They sell much bigger ones, and it's the BEST soap I have ever used to get rid of paint!! They make a green bar as well for getting paint off your hands! It works SUPER well! It even helps to restore the brushes, and gets rid of dried up paint.
Thank you so much for thinking of and supporting us here in Aust after the horrific time we have been through with the fires. As a nation we have suffered much grief and loss. Your thoughtfulness will not be forgotten ❤
Love your videos & your channel. Thanks for selling you Koala sketches to raise money to help the Koala's in Australia, it is a really lovely thing you are doing. All the best and have a wonderful 2020
Idk why some people don’t like unboxing videos. Dude I love them! I love seeing art supplies. Like, I love seeing all of the random supplies in mystery boxes. I’m just obsessed lol 😂😂
I've been loving your recent content! I'm relatively new but still I've noticed some changes. Also love your Instagram. I especially enjoy you IG stories. 😍
I've been watching your videos for years, but I was shocked when you followed me on insta... literally squeaky fangirled and showed my boyfriend my IG feed. Thanks so much for making my day, you're awesome!
Even if you never intended to unbox sub boxes, thank you for doing it!! I love seeing unboxings!! You are a joy to watch & always make me smile, even when I'm feeling down about my art! THANKS!
I know people have already said this, but the editing on the Plumchester disappearing (and then reappearing) was SO IMPRESSIVE and COOL. I rewatched that bit about five times because I loved it so much.
All I read is Chloe Rose posted a new vid and half way through reading the title I clicked cause I knew it would be great. I love your art and your channel! 😀
Honestly, watching you unbox all of those art supplies was like Christmas! They all just look like so much fun. Eventually, I'd love to get some of those art boxes to try out.
I love the General's pencils. I use their water color pencils to make "pallets" for my students. They use them to transfer the water color to their projects and they last so much longer than pans. And if a kid messes up the whole page of pallet, then it's easy to replace.
Sour patch kids are also my favorite! When I was pregnant with my daughter I spent a good month and a half (maybe more) craving nothing but those lol 🤣🤣 Also you make me laugh and I absolutely adore your videos! 💗💗
I really like this video a lot. I wanted to see you use all the supplies because they looked really good. I hope you have done another video(s) using the supplies from these boxes or please do another video. I am always curious what a professional artist thinks of supplies from boxes. I love the koala drawing idea to help Australia. Please do a video when you draw a more professional koala painting. I was disappointed you did not do that in this video using the supplies from the boxes. I love the koala you fixed up with the marker because the marker makes the drawing look fuzzy and cuter. Thank you for this excellent video. I really enjoyed it!
I think they include blue and red or other primary colors with paints to give you more latitude to work. Unless you’re “Drawing wiff Waffles” who only wants purple in her boxes! Or Kasey Golden who wants sap green! I enjoyed all your work and look forward to your next video. I am glad I did the pre-order on your book as all of your recent things seem to be sold out!
I never commented in your videos. But I had to say something. I love your videos so much. I love all the crazy stuff you do in youtube and other social media. You always inspire me to never give up. Like you are the best. You are so real, and never act fake which I love about you. I love you so much
Hey Chloe, watching your videos with my daughter and granddaughter before I go to my art class at college. My granddaughter is 10 weeks old and is really fascinated with you! Hoping she’s going to turn out to be a little artist also 🤗
The brush cleaner/lip balm thing: Look up cork grease. It’s for woodwind instruments like clarinets and it comes in a tube that’s the exact same size as a chapstick tube. AND cork grease (or at least the brand I used when I played the clarinet) smells like root beer.
I remember that plumchester pencil!! 😂 Artsnacks ended up reviewing the price and lowering it to like $12. They issued a $5 coupon for the Artsnacks shop to us because there were a few complaints about the price.😅😜 To be fair the pencil is pretty heavyweight and made of metal similar to those higher end rotring mechanical pencils.🤷🏻♀️
Master's Brush cleaner is absolutely incredible. It has restored brushes that I thought were trash, that had acrylic dried in them for months. The trick is to soak the brush in water for a few minutes, then swirl it around in the brush cleaner, and don't be afraid to get a little rough with it and really mash the cleaner up into the ferrule, and then rinse and wipe it off on a paper towel, and then repeat until the brush cleaner doesn't have any paint on it. And then gently run the brush through the cleaner and shape the brush with your fingers and leave the cleaner in the brush until you use it next. It will restore the shape of brushes that have frayed or bent, too.
The koalas are very cute. I’ve heard Daniel Smith is everyone’s favourite watercolour paint. They’re also vegan amongst just a few others. The different tips for the acrylic punches are cool. There’s loads of good things in these boxes, the papers, pencils, the brush. I have a few decent brushes from Jackson’s and they’re shaped nicely and hold their shape, a lot of cheap ones haven’t and they’re not really worth it anymore. Your excitement about them all is lovely. The tendency to lose or break things... there was a point in ZHC’s video where you even looked like AmazingPhil. I know I’ve said it before, I wonder how you’d get on.
I must tell you real quick that I have that pentel gel pen and I love love love it. I also got it in some subscription box I think it was a SketchBox Premium. Those boxes seem pretty darn nice. If I do say so myself. Great video Chloe.
Oh phew... thought you were gonna rebrand into an art channel for a while there, glad to be back to the mainstay! Cotton may make the best paper but card makes the best t-shirts!
i watched your ciy box vid and i think it would be a cool idea if you produced that bullet journal (if you coud ) as it would be realy cool merch andd i think people would like it 💕💕💕
