I’m a huge advocate for red light. I own a lot of devices, face mask, eye mask, lip mask, neck bib, hand, foot devices. However, I recently discovered a Med Spa near me that has a 12 panel Joovv set up (6 large panels in front of you, 6 behind you) Oh my goodness, 10 minutes flooded in that much red light is life changing. The feeling you have of standing in sunlight without the harming UV rays. I’m very fair and have always avoided sun exposure as much as possible. These red panels have worked magic on my skin, my health, my well being. Love it! ❤
Kimberly, I keep coming back to your video on red light panels. I have a couple of masks and the neck one but just bought the panel Mito pro 750. Thank you for all your knowledge, kindness and discount. I hope you receive something from the company I bought this from. God bless you friend. ❤❤❤
The red light therapy is amazing for health. I know you really believes in it. It’s beyond a beauty tool, it’s incredible for health and wellness. Good stuff! Thanks Kimberly for teaching me about red light therapy!! 😊❤
I absolutely love your channel, we share so much in common! You look amazing, I am 55 and hope to follow all the advice & tips you share on this journey we call life !
Hello, Kimberly! First, your hair is gorgeous😍. I agree with you 💯 on red light therapy. I am blown away by my results since starting my red light journey. Great video!
Hi Kimberly thanks to you I invested in a large 1,000kw Red Light Therapy lamp. It has really helped for odd aches and pains. For example one morning my back went yet I was due to meet a friend in a few minutes. I struggled to my RLT lamp, stood in front of it for only 2 minutes & was able to walk again - it's AMAZING!!
Thankyou Kimberly. Ive had my RLT panel for 3 months now. Ive noticed my red capillaries on my face are disappearing and my browns spots too. Ànd wrinkles are shrinking. But Patience is the key. It takes time. I have a small panel too. Love your vidèos. And look forward to seeing you with Penny. :) ❤️
Good Morning Kimberley! Just got your Sunday morning newsletter. I’ve had an infra red sauna for years. I got it for eczema and it may or may not have helped my skin. But I try to use it regularly. I know it worlds for heart health because at one point I had not done a bit of exercise for a year but had an almost daily 30 min plus in my infra red sauna. When I had a fitness test I didn’t do so well ( because I had taken a long time off) but the physio/trainer couldn’t understand how my cardio level was so good . She kept saying I don’t understand it. But I attribute it all to the sauna sessions. My biggest facial complaint is sagging skin. I think red light is going to have minimal impact on that. I already have a pretty glowy face and very few wrinkles. Just horrible sagging.
@@lisaring2169 I’m getting really sick of it. Every week she’s selling something! I started watching when she was traveling to Aiken, SC and the videos were so good!
Disagree, she's not advertising "merch"... lol... She is explaining what works for her and what then may also work for us as a result of her own shared experiences. And I for one appreciate that greatly.
Thank you for sharing such valuable information in such a fun and engaging way. It's clear you put a lot of heart into your content, and it truly shines through.♥♥♥
I love my red light panel, but I am over all of the other “devices” that are so expensive and take so much time to keep up with. No more falling for that. I’m going to age regardless so I will leave it up to staying hydrated, good skin care habits, and the red light. Can’t use the pulse because of migraines and potential seizures.
I appreciate your comments. I have slowly purchased a couple (lowest cost items, but still difficult as i am. Paycheck to paycheck RN inCA)… i am 51 & am self conscious about my skin- but youhelp me notstress about getting it all… red light, will have to save for. 🙏🏼
Amen. I'm over those other devices. They just sit in my cabinet. The original NIRA shocked the heck out of me even on #1 so I think I had a defective one but silly me I should have returned it. I also have the NuFace trinity with all the devices. Saw nothing happening with my skin and I hated that gel you have to put on. So its just the red light panel for me which covers my body front and back.
Agree with your prediction about the use of energy therapy. I love Andrew Huberman’s channel to learn about all things science when it comes to physical and mental health. He supports and has discussed light therapy many times. 👍🏼💖
You did a short with the perfect lip combo- mauve liner and acceptance. What eyeshadow and blush are you wearing in that shirt? So pretty with the lipstick!
Thank you Kimberly for this informative red light therapy session. I have Omni Lux sets now going on 2 years next month -once they’re dead I’m going to purchase the Mito panel for the added versatility you mentioned. PS. Love the blouse so stunning & beautiful on you! May I ask wear you purchased it (didn’t find in the links below) ? Happy Sunday to you your skin is looking amazing!!! 😍
Yay, good morning Kimberly! I received your Sunday newsletter after having trouble getting it earlier. I must have made a mistake somewhere on the sign up page. Thank you.
Good morning! I am watching your video right now as I do every Sunday morning. Will either one of these red light units be on a Boss event this year? Thanks for all of your videos. Have a great day.
Sunlight has damaging UV with other light wavelengths. Red light panels have no UV. Also the power of the light panel is also more powerful than the sun so 10min in front of red light panel might equal much more time in sun but without damaging UV rays.
I bought an mito panel a years& a half ago. I read the instructions & they said to do red light on face and infrared on joints. Did u said u use infrared on ur face too. Just want to clarify cuz I thought infrared was for penetrating the joints, which I do use for knee pain. Thx Kimberly, another great video 😀
Just discovered you and am so glad I did; I'd seen your videos in the suggested column but had decided I already had enough beauty videos. Can't recall now which one caught my eye to make me click but I'm super happy I did. You are much more than "just" a beauty youtuber and I feel we share some of the same characteristics (critical thinking for one, a sense of adventure for another) AND, I also want to thank you for introducing The Middle-aged Minx; she truly is delightful! I have subscribed of course and look forward to future postings :) xo from Canada
Hi Kimberly! I have all the skincare devices you talked about. However, I have the original (small), NIRA. I was wondering if the ZIIP electric gel would work with my Nebulyft? I would like to do my ZIIP routine using their electric, (silver) gel, then immediately do my Nebulyft with the remaining ZIIP gel. Would that work? P.s. I purchased a full body red/infrared panel in 1999 and it was the best purchase hands down!
Thank you Kimberly for your great video. Question for you. Does the red light bother your eyes? Do you ever wear goggles? I have a red light mask and I am very sensitive to the bright light in particular if it’s the evening. It really bothers my eyes so I was concerned if there’s any studies out there for possible eye damage like to the retina . I did a quick search on studies, but didn’t find anything yet And I’m curious as to whether you use sunglasses or goggles. Thank you!
It is best to do your red light therapy during the day (not in the evening) in the interest of circadian health. The manufacturers of the red lights recommend you wear eye protection. You can, however, build up a tolerance to the light over time.
Actually red light can benefit your eyes, so don’t worry, it will not hurt your eyes. But if you find the light too bright then wear goggles. Also it is better to do red light during daytime. At night it can negatively inluence your sleep. The exception is the Maysama pulse red light - you have to wear glasses with the pulse light.
Thank you, very interesting. I love my red LED masks (face + neck&déc)! I have sensitive / drama queen skin and this is the only modality that I can use and be confident that it will not make my skin angry. It’s a relaxing and soothing modality that is also very easy to incorporate in a busy schedule. And as you mentioned, always follow the instructions for your particular device(s)! But now I want that LED blanket… I guess I’ll use my masks until I can afford it!
I find the Nira doesn’t work as suggested. I’ve done it over a year with no visible results. BUT I agree about red light therapy. I love my red light mask and now I’m looking into a panel.
@@AnnMozzillo my esti told me my skin looked dehydrated. I found someone here on YT-forgot her nane-sge said you must use something hydrating ON YOUR SKIN immediately after the NIRA
You have several different RLT units Kimberly and now the whole body RLT blanket. How often do you use the latter? I dread to think how much such a unit costs! If I were a millionaire I'd get one!!!
Hey Kimberly!! Love your channel and newsletter!! I have the mito pro. I was wondering if I turned my head side ti side if that would suffice for pulse ?
I know you also have the Myolift mini. Why do you mention Ziip here, and not the Myolift? I was under the impression Myolift was more powerful. But I see many people who have the Myolift, still using and mentioning Ziip. I'm curious to why. My Ziip broke down. I need a replacement otherwise I'm going to step on my face soon 🤣
I started out with the mito 300 which just cover my face & neck. I have sciatic pain so I wanted more body coverage. I saved for a year and upgraded to the Mito Pro 1500. Being 5'2 this device covers from the top of my head to just below my knees. I do 10 minutes on the front & 10 minutes on my back. I love it. I wish I didn't have to wear the goggles because it covers where I want it which is my eye area.I just noticed Kimberly doesn't wear the goggles Hmm Kimberly is it ok not to wear them? Of course now that I saved to purchase this device they came up with a better device. Oh well. I put on meditation music from RU-vid and listen while I do my red-light panel.
@@PrettyOverFifty Oh boy I've been using Red Light for 2 years and covering my eyes. Oh well. Yes I did look up 4 different RU-vidrs & all said it's been shown to help your eyes unless your eyes are very sensitive to light. Thanks for the info Kimberly off with the goggles.
I just recently bought a red light device. I’m wondering how long did it take you to notice a difference? I am three weeks into use but as of yet not noticing results.
I have been thinking about purchasing red light therapy for a while now. Do you wear eye protection with these devices? I have glaucoma and don't want to worsen this condition. Thanks so much.
Devices with blue and/or magenta light help with acne. The Maysama Prana mask has red, near infrared, and the magenta, which helps with acne and inflammation.
I uses the NyFace and I do a 15 , Minute lift series with it and after using for over 2 yrs, I am so disappointed in it as after each session, I see very very little Lift. Just wanted to let you know. I am 62 now and I now do not use it consistently as it’s such a pain to wash our face, apply the gel do your session, then have to wash your face again. You can pat the gel in after each session. I choose to wash it off as I use Vit. C and other serums after washing the excess gel off my face.
@@karlaharvey2623 yes I had the nuface fix come with mine and I think that lessened lines around eyes but mouth and 11s are too deep I see slight improvement with droopier line around mouth but without before photo it’s hard because it’s subtle
I like my red light panel but Kimberly, you are too close without glasses. You should be 18 “ away if you don’t wear glasses. Please don’t open your eyes if you are so close.
I would avoid giving medical advice by telling people they will improve their health with red light therapy. It might be better to say "according to Mito...."
@@inthemystery8297 hi Kimberly, the red light I purchased came with the safety goggles to wear. That’s why I thought you were supposed to wear them? Can actually help eyesight?
Ziip is awesome. but don’t keep buying their expensive gel. Aloe Vera gel and a spray of mineral water will do the same job. If you put a small pinch of salt in the mineral water bottle, it will ensure conductivity
I have the Nira, the Ziip and a full panel from platinum. I love the red light the best too. We had a bad accident and I think it was the reason we are doing so well. We are in our 70’s and were rear ended by a semi…..thank goodness for RL. Keep up the good job you do. Enjoying your other channel too.💖💖💖
