So is the volt an easy hookup to iphone / garage band? I was looking at the Irig pro and or Apogee jam+ Will Rhino or Tone Stack you did a video om work with any of the interfaces? Will the Volt or Scarlet beat out a Irig2 or Jam+ in latency and or sound quality in garageband?
@TheGaragebandGuide
@TheGaragebandGuide Год назад
@@CaryChilton yes, though you’d be sacrificing a lot of portability if you go for one of these over an iRig or Apogee Jam. You’d also need to buy Apples lightning to USB adapter to use one of these interfaces with your iPhone. Honestly, you may be better off with the iRig or Jam if you only plan to record guitar.

@@TheGaragebandGuide I'm not sure if this is a me issue or an everyone issue, but i'll mention it. *Windows 11 / M-Audio M-Track DUO / FL Studio latest version* When using FL ASIO Drivers, when I activate my microphone I get ear deafening sounds. When I use the M-Audio Drivers, it works perfectly and it is great. However, since FL Studio 21 came out, I was getting random crashes while working on projects. I could fix this by saving the project, closing FL Studio and opening it again. But not ideal. Eventually through FL Studio support, I was able to find out it was the M Audio Drivers crashing the software, there hasn't been an update to the drivers since February. Now it is easy enough to switch between drivers in FL Studio, but it's not something I should have to deal with. It uses the same drivers as the solo, so if you have a similar set up, You have been Warned! It's gotten so annoying for me though, that i'm tempted to get another interface, but that issue aside it's great so take that as you will.

I just upgraded from my ancient audio interface to a Minifuse 2, and this overview confirms that it was the best choice for me. My only knock against it is that those output meters should be the input meters. I need more precision setting input levels than output levels. Also, when working on the iPad, more USB ports would be appreciated, but with the one, it does already give me more than any other interface.

Love my EVO 4 due to it’s AD/DA conversion quality and the only 1 in the group with ‘loopback’ to mix system audio, with your mic and DAW. If you do streaming or video production, you’ll need the loopback.

can't you do it with voicemeeter program?
@jeffagoddard
@jeffagoddard Год назад
@@thatparodychannel7594 I don't know voicemeeter, but you can do it with Blackhole and a few others - it's complex and flukey. I've found most budget audio interfaces don't have the loopback built into their device, so you need a 3rd party device manager (a virtual audio device) then some reconfig of your OS core audio routing. I returned a Presonus audio interface for this very reason. Most higher end devices have virtual channels and loopback built in (UA, Audient, Apogee, RME, MOTU, etc.) Surprisingly, the simple Rode NT-USB Mini with Rode Connect software has it and the mixer software is great... for $100.
@thatparodychannel7594
@thatparodychannel7594 Год назад
@@jeffagoddard I see. Blackhole is the MacOS equivalent of Voicemeeter in Windows. It helps to connect physical & virtual inputs & outputs with each other. I wish audient id4 had the loopback feature built in as well since it is easier to use on the desktop.

It should also be able to play these microphones without any problems. I have used SLL+ before and the sm7b microphone was playing without any problems. I want a sound card suitable for my intended use, but I do not want to make unnecessary expenses. If there is a sound card that you can definitely recommend buying this model, I will buy it, no problem. While I'm at it, I want to buy a good product. I hope I could explain myself. Nice selection and quick rundown. Some other possible options in this price range if you only need guitar/bass: iRig HD2 - very compact Mooer Prime P1 - very compact and is a multi effects with amp/cab simulation. Spark Go - pretty much an all in one device including speaker and multi effects. I own the first 2 and would like to try them Spark Go. One caveat with the P1, if you get stuck, don't expect any support other than a Facebook community.

High, I produce everything "in the box", I dont record audio, only VSTs instruments via usb keyboard and usb drum pad. Assuming that most of people (specially pop, electronic, rap/trap) will work at 44.100/24bit or 48.000/24bit, around 256 buffer size, "producing/mixing on the flow". What are the best options of audio interfaces in terms of RTL (round trip latency) Aiming for less than 10ms on those values? Or even, Do I need an interface? Cuz I saw the benchmarks and all audio interfaces will deliver around 12 to 14ms in 44.100/24bit and 256 buffer size. I have a RME Fireface UCX but I will probably sell it to upgrade from a 2011 mac mini to 2023 Mac Mini M2 Pro. Maybe I could get some interface max till U$299,00. I was thinking in one of these 3: Motu m4, Audient ID24 or SSL 2+.

Mackie used to have more cache than today. It is now owned by LOUD venture capitalists - same co. that used to own Ampeg, Martin and a bunch of other music audio cos - now they only have Mackie I believe. Don't sweat it -they are all Chinese or other Asian-made anyway. I use a 20 year old M Audio 2x2 that still kicks ass heck, I ripped it from a Hollywood studio - made when M Audio (formerly Midiman) was about to be bought by Avid and before Avid bought Pro Tools -the brands in most every Hollywood movie and audio studio where I live. Apollo is probably the best prosumer if you have money and Thunderbolt but if you like the Mackie bundles and they have all the ins and outs you need and the price is right - I'm sure you will be very happy with Mackie (or Focusrite etc). Don't fall for free bundled stuff per sé because you can get TONS of free stuff - especially if you've been watching Uncle Patrick here - he is always finding us the good stuff!! (I personally LOVE Valhalla and Baby Audio freebies) I had a GREAT Mackie mixer (what they are known for) back in the day; it's what Behringer WISHES they could make. If you buy any M Audio stuff you get world class AIR plug-ins including a great grand piano 🎸

hello, i had a line 6 ux 2 because i watched a video couple years ago how to sound better and this RU-vidr had this specific setup, Line6 ux 2 + At 2035 Microphone + Pod Farm ( included program with Line 6 ux 2 ) i bought all of this and setup my microphone just like the video, i have loved it very much, i sounded just how i like too just because pod farm 2 let you fine tune your vocals on the run, no recording needing. If i add an effect on podfarm it was directly changed in realtime, wether you streaming or gaming or recording, you sound amazing, but since windows 11 release it doesnt work, they say it work but thats not true for older Line6 products,. so i bought the audient id4 with same microphone at2035 but i have no controll at all only my OBS filters, and windows settings, the id4 has a little plug in just for the volume of loop in and playback. is there any interface like line 6 ux 2 comes with a program to set mic vocals on the go in realtime? im still searching since windows 11 release :(

Line 6 originally were ahead of their time with all the software available with their interfaces. I used a Line 6 tone port for many years when I first started recording. I still think their bass amp sims were brilliant and punchy sounding and the British metal was my go to sound for lead guitar. I still have my tone port packed away in its original box and still works perfectly but at only 32 bit not compatible with 64 bit stuff nowadays. I use both a Steinberg UR22C and a Scarlett solo for my home recording and bounce between the two as the mood takes me.
