This is my easy recipe for an awesome version of Irish Cream. I use less ingredients than most you will find on RU-vid. YOU WILL LOVE IT !! I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it for you.
Take notice, this lovable, fun-loving man is a retired Air Force man. As you can see, not only did he serve his country during the war, he is still serving us with his entertaining and very helpful videos on how to get what you want for less money. Hats off and much respect for Paw Paw.
So this is what Santa does in the summers. Seriously this is one of the best and wholesome videos on RU-vid. I've been making Baileys at home using your recipe since 2016. DoingItCheap is Doing Is Right.
Sir, you are the perfect example of living the good life. Money can't buy the love you bring to what you do! Thank you for the great videos, your military service, and always putting a smile on my face. God Bless!
PawPaw..you are a real hoot!!!This city kid had never imagined to make my own mock-up Bailey's. Your cheat sheet is just ....on the money. Forget Wallgreens and the local BevMos....I even left out the coffee and added some left over molassas and desolved maple sugar to my batch....and weeedoggey! No more store bought Irish Cream for me. Thanks for the heads-up. Talk about the "Best Generation"...."doingitcheap"....is doing it right!!Bravo...
I love Bailey's from way back. You got something going there man ! I had a good laugh with ya at the end, a couple times actually, something I don't do enough. You seem like a really good guy, good to know a few are still out there.
I knew there had to be a good reason I liked your videos, any man who likes him some good Irish just can't be all bad, because when God made all the great things in this world He made a special effort with Ireland !!!!
So enjoyed your video! You have a wonderful laugh and love the beard. I wanted to also Thank You for your service, Sir, it's people like you that makes America great and keeping us safe. My husband is also retired Air Force. Continue having yourself a Wonderful Day and a Better Tomorrow, of which no doubt you will, lol!
Made this & love it, but there must've been a hole in the bottom, 'cause it disappeared REAL FAST!!! Had to make another, and used Jack Daniels, but didn't notice when I bought it that it had CINNAMON in it. Used it anyway, and it's EVEN BETTER than the first. THANK YOU SIR!
I have been living over in Australia for 32 years and let me tell you, watching your video mad me smile so much my face hurts. I made your Hill Billy Cream and it's great. I left in 79 and had a lot of friends from the back hills and always loved the way they spoke. Your great and I will come back time after time to see you and hear your unbelievable hill billy ways. Just it . you all just keep up the good work. Your wine making video was great and I got some working in a dark warm place, I made mine from figs from my mothers fig tree here in Golden Valley Arizona. Can't wait to try it, but will wear 2 pairs of underwear just in case I'm drinking to early. Many thanks for your great info. Just can't stop smiling when I think of you. You should be on TV, I think your humor would be great on TV.
I'm not much of a drinker, particularly whiskey, due to some wilder events in my college days where I overdid it a few times and have been unable to stomach certain spirits ever since. So, I made your recipe for my brother as he LOVES his Bailey's and some of the other more pricey Irish Cream liqueurs. Well, I had to taste test to make sure this would be "acceptable" or I know Fred would not drink it or would give me grief about the cheap stuff I was giving him. Oh man! This stuff puts his store-bought to shame per my taste buds. I did use some almond milk instead of the water. Rich and creamy. Excellent! Hats off to you for a great recipe!
Sir it's because of great hard working Americans such as yourself I miss my small East Texas town of Vidor, Tx . I will pass your videos along. thank you.
So I went and bought a bottle of Bailey's AFTER making this and there's no comparison... THIS IS A MILLION TIMES BETTER!!! I won't be buying that other one ever again!!!
Just found your channel, sitting in my garden in Spain chuckling away. Going shopping this afternoon to get ingredients to make this baileys. Thanks for sharing
I did my test run over Thanksgiving and WHAT A HIT!!! Everyone is getting a bottle in their stocking for Christmas! Just stopping back by to grab that recipe again.. Thank you so much Paw Paw!
I have to say that you seem to be one of the nicest fellows I've seen and heard in a while. I love your style, your wit, your voice and your delivery and your plain practicality. I was brought up the same in England by my Mum and Dad....make do and fix....we're Scottish, maybe that's why the thrift is in my blood stream too. I can't believe that the television channels haven't picked you up....maybe you'd even make it in the UK too! But hey, you're much too practical and down to earth to be bothered with all that. I feel 'rooted' after watching your stuff which I've discovered today at 72yrs old! :) Thank you....great that there are still some real people around. NoAxe
LOL! I really enjoy watching you make some fine libations! Also, thanks for replying on my 'balloon on the wine bottles' question - made sense for not needing to hunt down a lid later!! As you can tell, I'm 7 years back on your videos and just subscribed after this video! I will be making some iGrish Creme for the upcoming HolidaZe! *CHEERS!*
I have been looking for a quick simple "sweetened condensed milk" recipe for Bailey's Irish Cream. I made a batch today and my word is it great! I added one tbsp of chocolate syrup and 250 ml of brandy and it's the best. I would call it coffee cream liquor but that's just how mine turned out. Very pleased thank you for the recipe!
Hello Paw.. It's 2023 already. I started making this recipe last year and gifting it to all my favorites.. It's a hit !!!!!! I don't celebrate all the Holidays so I give it all year round. Especially appreciated during camping season! Hahaaaa Thanks ❣️
My wife has been making essentially the same recipe since we were stationed in Germany back in the '80's. It's fantastic and definitely better than buying it premade. I'm betting a lot of people are really gonna love this video!
I didn't know it could be too chocolaty, lol! If you want some cheap vanilla try cheap vodka and a few vanilla beans split up, not fancy grade A, and 30 days or more you can have a huge bottle of homemade vanilla with no fillers. Thanks for your recipe!
Paw paw your like the father I never had! I did 20 in the AF reserve- boom operator - Mcguire - thanks for your service brother! I just had a harbor frieght open in howell NJ, heaven!!!! That instant coffee brings back memories of my deployments!
Man I love your reaction when you first tasted it. I'm right there with you! I'll DEFINITELY be making a bunch of this!!!!! I'm like you, I love the stuff as well. Guess you could say we're hit with the same club. I was in the Air force back in '68 to '72 as a Jet Mechanic/Crew chief. Thank you for the recipes. I'll definitely be following your posts here. Have a great one!
I made a different version of this recipe this week and it was terrible. So, tonight I made your version....so much better! Thank you for sharing your wonderful love of life and adventurous spirit! This is a great recipe! Thank you for sharing.
I am so glad you liked it !!!! I have so many people that will change my recipes before trying what I have worked on that I just shake my head and let them go on. But if you think that is good, you ought to make my homemade wines !!!
Your homemade wine video is what made me find your Irish Cream video! My husband and I need to watch the rest of your videos. We plan on spending a few evenings doing just that! I've already started sharing your videos with friends. You're becoming part of the family! Lots of love to you and yours. God Bless...and Thank you Sir for your service to our country. We greatly appreciate your sacrifice.
People love this stuff. It was a great gift to give out to friends this past holiday season. ,a real hit.. Thanks so much for the recipe! I just made one more batch for the winter and used Wild Turkey 101, wow! its stout!, lol.
I know how to make this stuff by heart by now but for the past few years watching this video when I get my first holiday jug of Jim Beam has become a tradition for kicking off the holidays. Keep Chug a luggin folks!
Happy I stumbled upon this & your channel today! I absolutely love a teaspoon of Bailey's in my morning coffee to help get me warmed up and loosened up before teeing it up on the golf course or whatever I've got planned for the day. I'm a disabled US Navy Veteran and have been living in the Philippines for 11 years now, beautiful wife, beautiful life, and no damn winters! I'm a bit stunned at the price you mentioned for off the shelf Bailey's there. I get it here for about half that at our local membership store (kinda like Costco). Tho it would be fun to attempt a homemade version as per your recipe, just in case the supply here dries up or gets too pricey. You are an interesting and entertaining fella to be sure! I been to Tennessee a few times, had a helluva weekend in Memphis many years ago down on Beale Street! I formally resided up in the great state of Idaho before my big relocation. I do some home brewing here, mostly beer & cider, but I've just got to try your recipe for Baily's. Thanks so much for sharing, take care, be safe, but always have some fun along the way ;).
I made this when he first posted this video and boy was it good. I wanted to make some again so I came back to remember how to make it. Love you PawPaw!!!!
