Such fantastic points were mentioned! Its cheaper, you dont worry about it that much, therefore you do riskier maneuvers, better shots. Thats what it is all about! ;]
Looks like a really good quad great price and the 03. Not bad. I think I’ll stick with my old Nazgûl xl5 true X tho. Has similar power/ flight systems and handles a lot like this one. It’s the tune. Iflight always delivers very well tuned bind and fly’s. I could tell you were feeling it:) Nice maiden. Thanks for the Rimzler report.
really thank you again for such a great review of a new fpv drone. You are always THAT entertaining, presenting with charm and I love your accent :) Like this we can feel your love for FPV ! For me -> JUST the right time ... because I wanted to buy the Nazgul Evoque F5 V2 during the next week... but now I want to buy the DC5 Eco since 200 Euro cheaper and I really don´t need LEDs and side covers. For sure looks NICE holding it in your hands... but I want to FLY and during flight LEDs are just... not needed ! :) During night for sure great view, but IF I guess I could add some LEDS to the DC5 Eco as well :) I already own the Geprc Domain 3.6 O3 ... now it is time for a "bigger brother" :) 5 inch will be my "action cam" drone, Domain 3.6 my drone to have crazy fun without extra weight :)
Thank you for the kind words ☺️☺️ yes 5 inch is still the most versatile imho, gets power, efficiency, ability to carry and it's still portable! This one is a crazy deal
Can anyone help me setup the dji fpv controller 2 to this Drone, I have everything binded but I guess it's not setup on beta flight, I don't know how to get off the ground and information is very confusing from multiple sources.
Looks like a nice little beast. I don’t have a 5 inch so might have to look into this one. Have you ever had an issues getting PNP and using the Dji Remote? I’ve seen a few vids where folks said don’t do it as if you loose video you loose radio also and it just drops? I have Crossfire and Tango 2 for my 6”Bob57 and 3.6” Domain, but might just get this 5” with the Dji remote as I still have spare Dji rc2 in my old drones bag.
Do you recommend PNP no receiver and using the DJI radio? I have a DJI radio but I also have a Radiomaster pocket on the way for tinywhoops. Even if you buy elrs, you can still swap UART's in BetaFlight and fly it with either DJI radio or ELRS I would imagine.
This depends on the manufacturer. I don’t know for sure about iflight but sometimes when you get a version with a reciever the cable from the 03 is missing the yellow wire (SBUS) and the extra ground wire, brown I believe. So you would potentially need to replace that connector with a 6 wire one. I personally will only use ELRS, the only failsafes I’ve ever had in the hobby were using the DJI radio. All on the most recent firmware (within 6 months) and as soon as that happened couldn’t trust the link anymore, especially with a 5”.
Ive been using the dji rc 2 with my dji quads several years now and signal very good, in fact never lost signal, but have had return to homes on low battery, no problem. Ive got the radiomaster pocket but use the RC2 more. Does Rimsler use the RC2 ? I think he does
I use the Rc2 for convenience, the only issues you can get is that when you lose video a couple seconds later you lose rc signal and it's over, while elrs still has signal, but yet without video there is not much you can do except activate failsafe or throttle up in the air, but even then it takes a few seconds to gain back video, so I just use the DJI rc and try not to lose signal ahahah no problem so far! In this drone you either use elrs or DJI on stock wiring, you can solder another rc to a different uart tho and use both, but gotta switch them connecting to betaflight
My failsafes were close range, Causing me to crash into my truck. Happened twice, just can’t trust it anymore. Also the variable latency in the control link is again something I can’t trust. But if it works for you guys great! It is convenient that’s for sure
The real problem is: where i can buy this drone at his original price? if i change the state on iFlight website it update the price in euro, and in euro the prince is the same as the F4 Evoque version, not 399$. And that's a problem and a shame because i really want to pick a nazgul like this one T_T
As a newbie, should i start with taht or avata 2? My understanding is rhat avata will be easier to control and has the get back home failsafe, while this oke will make more sense after some experience. Choices choices
I'm new to FPV drones. I'm interested in getting one but not sure what one to get and what ways I can improve for range and flight duration. How do you waterproof/water resist a drone. What about iFlights new Afterburner drone with a bottom battery mount. Thank you
In order to help you I'll ask a question: what's your goal in FPV? Is it the fun of the experience, being able to record, do you want to fly outdoor/indoor, do you want to get the best video, are you concerned about drone size?
Im still new to it, but O3 video link is unmatched. It probably wasnt worth spending 450usd on goggles, then 230 per o3 to switch. But the money is spent now and now im in a different ecosystem. I want to use walksnail for night flying but ill probably end up moving away from walksnail all together. I think ill buy hdzero in the future for my small drones and race drones, and then continue dji for freestyle and cine. The video link is just so stable on O3.
Hello my friend, I have a specific question and I noticed your holder for the DJI Osmo Action 4 and I would like to have one too. Where did you get it? If you have printed it yourself, do you have a file for it? All the best greetings and always have a good flight bigkahuna 😊
This is my first real fpv drone (unless you call Dji Avata a fpv drone?!?), i bought with gps module and analog. I am going to put a DJI Mini 3 to this and use it as a 4k gimbal camera, and I got Dronemask 2 with RC-N1 FCC enabled with 1080p.
If I were to build my own using the same electronics but using the better xing2 2207 motor, can the ESC handle the motors? Surprisingly the xing2 2207 is cheaper then the xing E motor in my area
nice video, but one question, is it possible to connect the quad with the dji goggles 3 smd the controller 3? sry I'm new in the game and only bought the avata 2 set and dont really wanna buy new goggles or controller 😅
from what i can tell "also new in the game" the goggles 3 can only use dji 04 system, this is o3, but i think dji is coming out with update to make it be able to use 03. i went with goggles V2 because i wanted to get digital 03 system compatable ut also have option to install analog adapter which the goggles 2 and 3 are only digital
@@Rimzler Thanks. But for this particular unit I just need DJI FPV Goggles V2 or DJI Goggles 2 and remote controller? Sorry for such dump questions, I have Mavic 3 but never used to custom FPV drones
@@Rimzler Io non sto in Italia ma il prezzo mi viene sempre quello. La dogana poi va pagata a parte, quello sul sito è solo il prezzo del prodotto escluso di spedizione e tasse varie. Che fregatura 😭
Ahahahahahha I always select a few drones for working, right now I have the Flylens85 as 2s indoor or stealth outdoor, the cinelog 35 for GoPro carry indoor and urban, avata2 for most stuff, and this Is the 5 inch for outdoor
I decided to go for v3 because the "eco" for me never sounds right. Gonna be my first 5" - i mostly fly tinywhoop but I learned how to do inverted yaw spin so I think I'll handle 5 inch power
Drones usually come in a few versions: analog goes with any analog goggle, DJI digital goes with DJI goggles, most commonly the goggles V2, goggles 2 and goggles Integra, let me know what you are interested about and I'll guide you!
Such an amazing drone and what a flight, just a curiosity when you bought it did you selected "no RX I use DJI RC" or other options? I have DJI Radio 2 and your google DJI 2, I am beginner this Info would help me. Thanks
