- u should do what most boba shops do. Where u give out small stamp cards to registered customers so whenever a customer orders like for example 6 banh mi sandwhiches they get 1 free and also a t-shirt of your shop (helps with promotion) - u should also try to have like a footlong banh mi. Something similar to like subway. A $10 banh mi footlong???? - maybe also have on your menu like a food challenge item. Like a giant thick footlong banh mi? (helps with promotion?) - have some banh mi that are superloaded with extra everything. Make it big and heavy with meat. I think that will help with popularity. Your banh mi shop will be known to have more filling, more bang for the buck. - have a special menu item ex. a super spicy banh mi (ghost pepper?), italian style banh mi, mexican-vietnamese style banh mi, hawiaan style banh mik, etc. - have a banh mi day like taco tuesdays at your shop. Banh Mi Sundays? Sundays your Banh Mi cost less? - have banh mi with cool gimmicky names like a cock meat banh mi, touch my banh mi, girls gone banh mi, phuc mi banh mi, SUPER PUMPED banh mi, 18 year old banh mi. Call your sauce the quang sauce or cum sauce... something vietnamese fetish lol. - have more variety with your banh mi bread. A lot of sandwich shops have mediocre bread... like maybe have like sour cream banh mi bread, some banh mi bread coated with eggs, raisin banh mi bread, etc. I think if u have your breads with more variety it will set your banh mi shop different than other banh mi shops - u should have an online website. - try to cater to college students, weddings, vietnamese holidays? etc. So that people can buy your banh mi in bulk. Maybe also like try catering to vietnamese people when it comes to buying in bulks since idk maybe in vietnamese holidays they have parties and want to order a lot of banh mi in bulk? Nobody is going to order 69 banh mi just to get 1 free banh mi... thats just bad advertising the way u r currently doing it.
I’ve been watching your channel since the pandemic and find as much inspiration to enjoy life as I do your cooking. I hope that when naming your shop, you choose a name that will not limit you to Bahn Mi and will allow you to expand your menu to include many of the dishes you’ve said in the past would be on the menu if you ever opened your own shop. I love the name someone suggested, “Food and Life”! Customers will certainly be served a bounty of beautiful things. Leave time to enjoy your baby and to savor the moments that pass so quickly. You guys have been working so hard lately !! I'm sure the food will be good and that your shop will be succesful. I know a lot of your customers are going to be fans of the channel who want to see you guys and have a taste for themselves !! But please, don't work to hard and keep a few nights to yourselves where you are not prepping. I've seen my parents and especially my mom doing it all and i feel that she could've/should've had more time to enjoy life or just chill for a bit ❤❤
I was a vegetarian for like 10 or 12 years, and the possibly the hardest thing was I couldn't eat banh mi, weirdly enough. Nobody did a veggie option back then. It's definitely a good thing to try. Veggie pate looks tasty. Maybe some seitan?
So tofu or season vegetable protein powder make it into a dough and mold it like those other meats and bake it? Not sure if that’ll work but I hope it does so QT can make a full vegan ban mi (but it would also need vegan butter)
I've tried a couple banh mi sandwiches around edmonton and sherwood park, and I can say if the served product is consistent with how you made it in this video, its gonna be one of the best. Also, the fried chicken version is gonna be huge hit!

Questions on your bread recipe. Will you get a steam injected oven? Or are you going to get a traditional commercial oven? I feel like a steam injected oven where you can set the humidity and time when to inject moisture would be really nice also for baking desserts.

Carrots should be a bit more evenly distributed with other greens, instead of having them bunched in the corner like that. I hate having to choose between bites of carrot and bites of other stuff.

Umm even a little less and the dough was so wet!! I watched like seriously 20times to be right ... Help!! I love In Hawaii .. So maybe the humidity is a big fact?
Quang, don't forget the wrapper. What will it be wrapped in? Something easy for the people to open and eat. Something that will not cause a leak. Will it be easy to eat with one hand or need two hand.
