This review was actually more informative than others! I would love to see more content with Wynie and this style where you touch base on your own experience. For instance, I’ve been trying to decide between a ohio and ohio power bar for myself, but I’ve never squatted without a center knurl and was asking how important it was. Now I know, thank you Wynie!

I love this channel for the women's representation. One of my colleagues recommended I get a "men's bar" and I'm so glad I did! I was worried I wouldn't be able to lift it but once you get strong enough with dumbbells it's not an issue. Did consider getting a bella bar as a cheap deadlift bar alternative lol.
I've been looking at the Rep Technique Bar as an even lighter option for my wife to get started. What are the drawbacks of that vs a Bella? Diameter and the fact you can't go very heavy with it?

I bought my wife a customized Bella Bar with her name on it in blue to match our power rack. She loves it. However, I would say that having a picture of a dog on the end cap of a bar meant for women is maybe not the best idea. I realize that the bar is named after a dog, but c’mon Rogue!
More Winny! I love y'all's dynamic in general. That having been said as a married man who is trying to get my wife into working out and building our home gym together this kind of female specific content is SUPER helpful.
I've been working out with my fiancee since I found Gluck's channel and built my home gym. Sometimes my progress is slowed because she takes off more days than I would if I were solo, but I tell her often how grateful I am that she works out with me. We use American Barbell's California Bar in the 15KG variant, which basically puts it at the same as the Bella Bar but different pricing. I've yet to have a reason to need to buy myself a 20KG bar. She says that looking like Wynie is her goal.
This is cool. A little more specific but I'd be interested in hearing a review of the Rogue C-68S bar. It is basically the bella bar but shorter while still being rackable. I'm opening a small personal training studio soon so I like the idea of it taking up less space. Plus the bar is 25 pounds so easier entry to more exercises. It does have limited(none) options for coatings.
Very Nice Video Wynie, Enjoyed this one Very Much I am very interested in seeing a comparison of the best barbell to buy for a female as Im getting my niece into lifting. She will probably only do Bench, Squat, Overhead Press, and maybe some deadlifts but she questions the deads by saying, I don't think this is doing much for me. Thnkx and I hope you make that comparison video!!!!!
My wife has this bar. Surprisingly the Knurl is very grippy though labelled as passive. I find it stickier than my B&R 2.0. She didn’t want center Knurl as she squats with a tank top so here we are. The chrome sleeves are holding up fine which is more than I can say for my rogue curl bar.
Thanks for the great review. I recently upgraded my home gym and added a power rack and the Rogue Bella Bar. I am a small woman (5 feet) with small hands and absolutely love it. I had used the men’s bars for years and had a noticeable improvement in my grip when using this 25mm bar. I don’t do back squats so not sure how well this bar would work. I have used it for Zercher squats and a good pad like the AbMat zercher pad is a must as the smaller diameter bar makes it impossibly uncomfortable otherwise. The Bella bar works well for all of my other big lifts and I am very happy with it.

For some reason the first Crossfit gym I went to had 29mm "men's" bars rather than 28.5mm regular Ohio bars. I used the Bella bars for a lot of the overhead work, especially snatches. I was so happy when the owner got a pair of boneyard echo bars.
Ok, hear me out: You say this is a multi purpose bar - sure. But, considering a cambered bar has benefits the straight bar has not while you still can do everything with it you can do with a straight bar, would a cambered bar not be the better choice if you can only have one bar? Also, what about short "home" bars which are, well, much shorter than regular bars and thus more practical to use in the limited space of e.g. a dorm room or tiny apartments in major cities? Are there any drawbacks to those, why are they hardly ever reviewed and why are people not using them when training in very limited equipment/space home "gyms"?
I hope this helps some. Very few companies make 6' barbells. Even less of them make 6' rack able barbells. Titan makes a 6' rack able one for only $100 it's a medium knurl 28milimeter bar. I have it in the living room (bad weather gym) because it takes up less space. I like it but I doubt with a 21k tensile strength that it will ever hold the 500lb claimed weight capacity. Bells of steel offers (only on their site, not Amazon) a much more impressive and expensive 6' rack able bar that I plan to get next. I have not come across any others for under $300. All my 7' bars are in my garage gym.

Thanks for your reply - though I should add that I'm in Europe so products only available in the US are no option anyways. What I wonder about is why you mention the bars being rackable? Given the constraints mentioned I wouldn't expect someone (me) to have the space for a rack if I don't even have the space to use a standard length bar. So if anything, I guess I would have two separate support stands (to save space when not needed) which then can be put as far or close as necessary to rack any bar. So isn't any bar rackable? But I wouldn't consider having a rack. And I did only a little googling for shorter bars and while there are less then regular ones (which makes sense) there's still a good selection available. Found one made to carry 771 lbs (350kg)for about 110€ from a reputable manufacturer (SQMIZE FOX LINE OB72B Rackable or their SQMIZE FOX LINE OB60B, even 50cm shorter than the other and also made for 350kg). Any thoughts on the cambered bar question?
Cambered bars are nice too, for some they are more comfortable for squatting. Also they allow you to get a slightly deeper flat bench press. However I can't see them being useful for deadlifts which is why if I could only have one bar a barbell would be what I choose. If using squat stands it won't matter if the bar is considered rack able or not since you place the squat stands at whatever distance is needed to hold the barbell.
