Thank you for the video!! I had no idea you could do the shot after charging or see the weak points on the reticle. I'm going to do so much more damage now. Lol
It's so much more difficult to charge sidestep in MH Now. Especially since charging a shot takes an hour. If it wasn't so slow to charge I'd enjoy bow a lot more.
Love your guides. Super useful! I am hunter lvl 50 but i play super casual (hunt from home or when walking the dog...sometimes). I main the sword and shield but looking for a ranged weapon for a little diversity. Loved you video on bow. What about the light bowgun? It seems more burty but it looks like you have less control of your shots versu the bow charging mechanics. What would be the pros and cons of those weapons versus each other? Many thanks for sharing the wisdom!
Lightbow gun and bow operate similarity but heres the general pros/cons Bow: Focus 5 Build takes 4 equipment slots Far More mobile than LBG Needs to charge LBG: Reload Speed and Recoil down builds dont take all 5 slots. If you get good enough at it you dont need recoil down. slow mobility Doesnt need to charge, but must reload
The Pukei bow is the best budget bow in the game. You can clear 8/9 stars with it just because poison does passive damage. But it still requires some rng. Unless you have Black Diablos bow the Pukei bow is the way to go if you don't plan on investing in other elements. just because of how available pukei-pukei is on the map.
From the nerf of range weapons in this recent update, is it still viable to try bow as a second main? I want to try another rewarding weapon type aside from long sword which i currently have
Awesome Video. Thanks! I switched to bow during the diablo event cuz I saw your vids and you have prolonged my playtime and not rely on potions too much. I have built up all element bows and having fun. Also, the Rosen bow is awesome and I feel like I’m cheating sometimes. Lol😊
Quick thing that I didn't catch, For the weapon it self, at the beginning, which one should I focus on? Should I get one for each element and use the one that has the weakness of the monster? Or should I just get one and upgrade that one?
If you want to just focus on one element its definitely the Pukei bow, it can get you far on its own. However, for event monsters you definitely want to build the elemental weaknesses or high raw damage weapons.
Is the reset button available for all or do you need a skill from armor pieces? I saw it on my screen a few times but it doesnt stay like it does on your video example
Ok cool mybe you could get niantic attention I use the lbg am I special attack does zero damage it is stressing me out so I want to know if it's the same for you Tia
